Live my Life Diary
This is my third time in Khao Lak, but my first stay at this hotel. Overall, it was excellent! The staff in every department were friendly and cheerful. There are plenty of activities at the hotel, making it perfect for anyone who wants to spend their vacation relaxing without getting bored.
The hotel has a large main pool and separate pools for each building.
Breakfast was great with a wide variety of choices. There was also a fresh coffee machine that looked quite standard and good quality.
The hotel property is quite deep. If you walk from the front of the hotel to the beach, it's a bit of a trek. If you have luggage, you'll have to drag it a fair distance. However, the hotel offers a buggy service to pick you up from your building; you can call for it anytime. But when we checked out, we were in a hurry, so we ended up walking and dragging our bags ourselves because the staff said the buggy would take about 10 minutes to arrive.
Another thing is that during checkout, the staff mentioned we had to wait about 7 minutes for housekeeping to check the room (so allow extra time if you're in a rush).
If I have the chance, I would definitely stay here again.

Kanny RosyThe hotel is quiet with a great atmosphere and many photo spots. It's not far from the beach. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, especially Pinky at the front desk, Phet at Green Mango restaurant, and Dew and Gink at Patio restaurant, who were all very hospitable throughout our stay. We'll definitely come back if we have the chance! 💕

Guest UserI stayed at Ananea beyond for two nights during my birthday celebration with my husband. Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing experience.
The service was excellent, and we were welcomed with genuine smiles from every staff member we encountered. During check-in a short-haired lady at the lobby provided us with a warm welcome, complete information, and professional service. After that, Paul assisted us with our luggage and gave us a detailed introduction to the resort facilities as well as our villa.
One of the highlights of our stay was the Pool Bar. The swimming pool was spacious and very clean. We had the opportunity to try several drinks prepared by Marwin, and they were absolutely delicious. We ended up having 4–6 drinks .He always served us with a friendly smile and showed great passion and attention when preparing our beverages.
Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to experience the Kanda spa. When we checked in the spa between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, it was closed due to a photo shoot and promotional activities, if I remember correctly. As a result both of us missed the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing spa treatment during our stay.
The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, although the food tasted good and the restaurant staff provided excellent service.
The resort itself is peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to unwind and escape from work-related stress. Our villa was very spacious and well-equipped with amenities.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. Housekeeping standards were not as detailed as expected. The bed linens had several visible stains from previous use before our arrival. Complimentary bottled water was not replenished during our stay .we only received four bottles for the entire two-night stay. Used drinking glasses were also not replaced. In the evenings, some of the pathways leading back to the villas felt quite dark. Additionally, several villas were undergoing renovation during our visit, and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes around the property.
Despite these minor issues, we had a wonderful stay thanks to the outstanding hospitality of the staff. We appreciate their kindness and dedication

Guest UserMy stay at Moracea by Khao Lak Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. The staff went above and beyond throughout my entire stay—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything I needed. Their kindness truly made the experience unforgettable.
The location is absolutely stunning. Nestled right by the beach, the views are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether it was watching the sunset or simply enjoying the sound of the ocean, every moment felt special.
The facilities are outstanding and beautifully maintained. From the pools to the rooms and all the shared spaces, everything is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious yet welcoming environment.
And the food—simply incredible. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. There was a great variety of options, and everything I tried exceeded expectations.
I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about my stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the beach. I enjoyed walking to Nang Thong Beach along a dirt road through the abandoned hotel grounds and forest. There you'll see hens and chicks, roosters, cows, and coconut palms. Breakfasts are monotonous. The rooms are large and spacious. There's plenty of seating—two rattan armchairs, two chairs, and a stool—a rarity in Thailand. There's a large TV where you can watch your own movies from a USB drive. There's hot water!
I loved everything.

Traveling during the off-season offered great value for money. The facilities are comprehensive, with a private beach that hosts several affordable restaurants and massage shops. The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were friendly. We even got an upgrade to a room with direct access to a small pool, which was very convenient.

Guest UserAn old but generally pleasant hotel. We stayed for two nights. My son absolutely loved the room with arcade games and a console. The breakfast selection was diverse. The only downside is the beach isn't great – it's shell-covered with strong waves, making it unsuitable for swimming. Otherwise, it's worth considering.

GlinlingThis 5-star hotel, part of the Accor group, is located in the Bang Muang area, which is quite a distance from the center of Khao Lak. However, its advantage is that it's not far from Takua Pa, making it convenient to find food or travel to nearby attractions.
The hotel has a very lush and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for those who truly want to relax. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are large and functional, providing a comfortable stay throughout.
The hotel's facilities are quite comprehensive, including a fitness center, spa, large swimming pool, and a swim-up bar, which is another impressive spot. Additionally, there are two restaurants to choose from, allowing guests to relax within the hotel without needing to venture out frequently.
The staff provide excellent and attentive service. Overall, it's a hotel that offers a peaceful and private atmosphere, ideal for relaxation. Even though it's not in the heart of Khao Lak, for those who enjoy tranquility and want to spend their time at the hotel, this is an excellent choice.
Overall, I'm impressed and will definitely return if I have the opportunity.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is interesting. We had a sea view room (though the lawn in front of the sea, which belongs to the hotel, was a bit unkempt). The room itself was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious, and the balcony was great too.
The pool is open until 10 PM, and there's a water cooler in the common hallway, so no issues with water. Breakfasts were tasty, and the staff were polite and pleasant. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.
Regarding the negatives: upon check-in, we found a huge cockroach on the curtain. How it could have been missed when preparing the room is a mystery. We didn't make a fuss; we just caught the cockroach ourselves and released it onto the lawn (there were two in total), oh well, these things happen.
The biggest drawback, which overshadowed all the positives, was the non-functional air conditioning system. It's a central system, and it seems like maintenance has been completely neglected. When we contacted reception, an engineer came up and showed us how to adjust it (only two modes: 22°C and 21°C; other temperature settings didn't work). The room was 29°C. The AC blew slightly but didn't cool.
Because of this, we canceled our extended booking and moved to a proper hotel with a working air conditioner. And where the AC unit draws air, there was a thick layer of dust...
The hotel itself is great, but the air conditioning, or rather its lack of proper function, ruined everything.

Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is an ideal place for those who appreciate nature, comfort, and tranquility.
Pros: The hotel boasts a large, well-maintained area with a beautiful landscape design. It has everything: direct beach access, a picturesque stream, and even a lake. The rooms are very clean, modern, and truly meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. The charming bridges connecting different parts of the property add a special touch. Walking across them feels like being in untouched jungles. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe.
Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries.
Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht.
The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht).
Overall, Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is a perfect choice for those looking to relax in harmony with nature while enjoying comfort and quality service. Highly recommended!
