Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort

Live my Life Diary
This is my third time in Khao Lak, but my first stay at this hotel. Overall, it was excellent! The staff in every department were friendly and cheerful. There are plenty of activities at the hotel, making it perfect for anyone who wants to spend their vacation relaxing without getting bored. The hotel has a large main pool and separate pools for each building. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of choices. There was also a fresh coffee machine that looked quite standard and good quality. The hotel property is quite deep. If you walk from the front of the hotel to the beach, it's a bit of a trek. If you have luggage, you'll have to drag it a fair distance. However, the hotel offers a buggy service to pick you up from your building; you can call for it anytime. But when we checked out, we were in a hurry, so we ended up walking and dragging our bags ourselves because the staff said the buggy would take about 10 minutes to arrive. Another thing is that during checkout, the staff mentioned we had to wait about 7 minutes for housekeeping to check the room (so allow extra time if you're in a rush). If I have the chance, I would definitely stay here again.

We (wife, myself and 8 year old son) stayed end of March 2026. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful and placed us in a nice room with King size bed and knew us by name. The bedroom had an ocean view + balcony and comfortable bed that fit all 3 of us. We arrived on a Tuesday when they do a weekly firedance. We really enjoyed the infinity pool at sunset where the pool met the ocean and sky. The staff was willing to drive us by golf cart between the 2 sides of the resort to be able to access the whole resort easily. The restaurant food was tasty as well but only complaint was that it was Italian food and we were in Thailand and wanted to eat Thai food. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful with an array of options for everyone and it changed a bit every day we were there (5 nights). For us, the location was not ideal, as you have to take a taxi to get to the town or restaurants and we ended up finding a couple spots we could walk to near the resort (Memories Beach next door) and a small restaurant walking distance. We were delighted to find that there is an Elephant Sanctuary next door to Aspara, walking distance and visiting the elephants was an amazing experience (1000 THB for 3 people and food/milk to feed the elephants). We did a day snorkel trip to Surin National Park and the location was accessible for the pickup to the port. I was unable to use Grab for food or ride service and when we did use taxi, we used the hotel taxi service, which was a bit more expensive than I wanted. The ride to the airport was 2,500 THB for the 3 of us and our bags arranged by hotel. It was nice knowing that the taxi would be there and it was a private ride with AC and plenty of room. There is a river that divides the two sides of the resort and it passes in front of the hotel into the ocean. We were advised not to swim in the river, so we were a bit concerned when crossing it or to swim in the water that is poured into, but we did swim in the water in front of the Memories Beach just adjacent to Aspara. I would recommend Aspara particularly to folks looking for quiet, and prefer to be away from hustle and bustle of city and who don't mind taking a Tuk Tuk to places they want to visit. Great place to go to if you don't want to leave the resort. I would have preferred to be closer to more restaurants (walking distance) but otherwise, the staff, the grounds, the breakfast, everyone was amazing. Enjoy the photos. MN

The hotel is quiet with a great atmosphere and many photo spots. It's not far from the beach. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, especially Pinky at the front desk, Phet at Green Mango restaurant, and Dew and Gink at Patio restaurant, who were all very hospitable throughout our stay. We'll definitely come back if we have the chance! 💕

I stayed at Ananea beyond for two nights during my birthday celebration with my husband. Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing experience.       The service was excellent, and we were welcomed with genuine smiles from every staff member we encountered. During check-in a short-haired lady at the lobby provided us with a warm welcome, complete information, and professional service. After that, Paul assisted us with our luggage and gave us a detailed introduction to the resort facilities as well as our villa.         One of the highlights of our stay was the Pool Bar. The swimming pool was spacious and very clean. We had the opportunity to try several drinks prepared by Marwin, and they were absolutely delicious. We ended up having 4–6 drinks .He always served us with a friendly smile and showed great passion and attention when preparing our beverages.        Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to experience the Kanda spa. When we checked in  the spa between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, it was closed due to a photo shoot and promotional activities, if I remember correctly. As a result both of us missed the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing spa treatment during our stay.       The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, although the food tasted good and the restaurant staff provided excellent service.        The resort itself is peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to unwind and escape from work-related stress. Our villa was very spacious and well-equipped with amenities. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. Housekeeping standards were not as detailed as expected. The bed linens had several visible stains from previous use before our arrival. Complimentary bottled water was not replenished during our stay .we only received four bottles for the entire two-night stay. Used drinking glasses were also not replaced. In the evenings, some of the pathways leading back to the villas felt quite dark. Additionally, several villas were undergoing renovation during our visit, and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes around the property.        Despite these minor issues, we had a wonderful stay thanks to the outstanding hospitality of the staff. We appreciate their kindness and dedication

The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the beach. I enjoyed walking to Nang Thong Beach along a dirt road through the abandoned hotel grounds and forest. There you'll see hens and chicks, roosters, cows, and coconut palms. Breakfasts are monotonous. The rooms are large and spacious. There's plenty of seating—two rattan armchairs, two chairs, and a stool—a rarity in Thailand. There's a large TV where you can watch your own movies from a USB drive. There's hot water! I loved everything.

We had a truly peaceful and wonderful stay at your hotel. We are very satisfied with the service — the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful to our family. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us. The service standards were truly at a high level, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality. Unfortunately, because my daughter was not feeling well, we were not able to fully enjoy all of the facilities this time. We will definitely come back again in the future to have a proper relaxing stay. Wishing you continued success and all the best!

Traveling during the off-season offered great value for money. The facilities are comprehensive, with a private beach that hosts several affordable restaurants and massage shops. The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were friendly. We even got an upgrade to a room with direct access to a small pool, which was very convenient.

The Hotel is cozy & the concept is cultural. But, 1. The room soundproof is bad, i can hear someone walking outside the corridor & even i stay at 4 floor i can here people talking loudly in the late night at the lobby… the sound travel through the staircase up. 2. Overall breakfast was good. 3. This is a non smoking hotel, but the smoke detector in the room are covered, during check out i did ask the reception staff. They just ignore my question on their Fire Alarm System. Above is not complain, is just my comments. Thanks

This 5-star hotel, part of the Accor group, is located in the Bang Muang area, which is quite a distance from the center of Khao Lak. However, its advantage is that it's not far from Takua Pa, making it convenient to find food or travel to nearby attractions. The hotel has a very lush and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for those who truly want to relax. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are large and functional, providing a comfortable stay throughout. The hotel's facilities are quite comprehensive, including a fitness center, spa, large swimming pool, and a swim-up bar, which is another impressive spot. Additionally, there are two restaurants to choose from, allowing guests to relax within the hotel without needing to venture out frequently. The staff provide excellent and attentive service. Overall, it's a hotel that offers a peaceful and private atmosphere, ideal for relaxation. Even though it's not in the heart of Khao Lak, for those who enjoy tranquility and want to spend their time at the hotel, this is an excellent choice. Overall, I'm impressed and will definitely return if I have the opportunity.

The hotel's location is interesting. We had a sea view room (though the lawn in front of the sea, which belongs to the hotel, was a bit unkempt). The room itself was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious, and the balcony was great too. The pool is open until 10 PM, and there's a water cooler in the common hallway, so no issues with water. Breakfasts were tasty, and the staff were polite and pleasant. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Regarding the negatives: upon check-in, we found a huge cockroach on the curtain. How it could have been missed when preparing the room is a mystery. We didn't make a fuss; we just caught the cockroach ourselves and released it onto the lawn (there were two in total), oh well, these things happen. The biggest drawback, which overshadowed all the positives, was the non-functional air conditioning system. It's a central system, and it seems like maintenance has been completely neglected. When we contacted reception, an engineer came up and showed us how to adjust it (only two modes: 22°C and 21°C; other temperature settings didn't work). The room was 29°C. The AC blew slightly but didn't cool. Because of this, we canceled our extended booking and moved to a proper hotel with a working air conditioner. And where the AC unit draws air, there was a thick layer of dust... The hotel itself is great, but the air conditioning, or rather its lack of proper function, ruined everything.
