Yyang119119I returned to this garden resort for another stay. Unfortunately, being the rainy season, most rooms had a strong, musty odor. We had to try several rooms to find one that smelled a bit milder. The hotel does get renovated yearly, preserving its traditional look and feel. Other than that, everything was very good. Breakfast was excellent, as always, and dinner was quite delicious too. It's just a pity that there were no clear blue skies during our visit, so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful ocean views.

PPo. R.The front office staff provided excellent service during check-in and clearly explained the hotel information. The room was not as old as expected, it was spacious, and the hotel is located right on the beach—quiet and perfect for relaxation.
However, the swimming pool was not clean, with leaves floating in it.
Overall, the stay was good, but I was disappointed during check-out. After I had already left the hotel and was making a U-turn to head home, a security guard stopped my car to ask for a transfer slip for the melon water charge. The front office staff had asked him to do this.

I believe the staff should double-check all documents more carefully before guests leave, rather than asking for payment proof afterward. Fortunately, the security guard was polite and humble.
Please consider improving how the front office handles and resolves such situations.

MMaik_AII stayed at Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort during the rainy season, and I have to say — it was a great experience!
Many people think that the rainy season in Thailand is not the best time to visit, but here it was absolutely fine. There were not so many rainy days, and even when it rained, it often passed quickly, leaving the air fresh and the nature even greener.
One of the big advantages of this time of year is the peace and space — fewer tourists, a calmer atmosphere, and more opportunities to enjoy the beach almost to yourself. And of course, the prices during the low season are much more attractive, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.
So if you’ve ever doubted visiting Thailand during the rainy season, I can honestly recommend it — especially here at Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort. You might just discover it’s the perfect time for you!

”The location is unbeatable, situated right on the beautiful Memories Beach. It’s an absolute dream for outdoor enthusiasts—I spent my days surfing, running along the shore, and chilling by the pool. I also loved that I didn’t have to leave the property for good food; having Thai, Italian, and a cute coffee shop on-site was so convenient. Above all, the staff were so welcoming and provided world-class hospitality. Highly recommend!”

MMr. FincherA wonderful hotel — everything feels brand new and maintained to the highest standard. The staff are incredibly helpful, the rooms are excellent, the grounds are beautifully kept, and the breakfasts are very good.
If I really wanted to find something to complain about, I could mention that I wanted to rent a bicycle, but the bikes were rusty and not in working condition. But honestly, I did not mind at all, because the hotel itself is truly outstanding.
If you are considering staying here, I would say that in this price range, among five-star hotels, it is probably one of the best — if not the best — in this region.

The service standards were truly at a high level, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality. Unfortunately, because my daughter was not feeling well, we were not able to fully enjoy all of the facilities this time.
We will definitely come back again in the future to have a proper relaxing stay. Wishing you continued success and all the best!

GGuest UserThe hotel is a 7-minute walk from the beach. I enjoyed walking to Nang Thong Beach along a dirt road through the abandoned hotel grounds and forest. There you'll see hens and chicks, roosters, cows, and coconut palms. Breakfasts are monotonous. The rooms are large and spacious. There's plenty of seating—two rattan armchairs, two chairs, and a stool—a rarity in Thailand. There's a large TV where you can watch your own movies from a USB drive. There's hot water!

Llear87The environment is elegant and close to the sea, with complete facilities. The staff were friendly and helped us book a taxi to the port for our yacht in the morning, which was very timely! The room was spacious and quite new.

But,
1. The room soundproof is bad, i can hear someone walking outside the corridor & even i stay at 4 floor i can here people talking loudly in the late night at the lobby… the sound travel through the staircase up.
2. Overall breakfast was good.
3. This is a non smoking hotel, but the smoke detector in the room are covered, during check out i did ask the reception staff. They just ignore my question on their Fire Alarm System.
Above is not complain, is just my comments.

MMariaNajaGenerally, I find hotels in Khao Lak to be overpriced for what you get.
There weren't enough sunbeds on the beach, but perhaps there are regulations limiting the number allowed in the large area in front of the hotel.
The bathroom windows were covered in greasy fingerprints, and the shower glass was so cloudy from limescale you could barely see through it.
The room itself was spacious though, with comfortable beds.
There are good dining options very close by, as well as a small convenience store and laundry service.
