Hotels near Mills College, Oakland

Hotel is super nice BUT parking expensive. I parked at a meter at night and woke up at 7:58 to put two hours in meter!! Had to leave at 10:00 for airport!! Bed was comfy but hotel parking costs an arm and a leg!!!I would not stay here with a car again!!!

The front desk was a black lady with a blank expression and indifferent service. The room I requested was far from the elevator, but I was given a room next to the elevator. I was too lazy to go down to change the room, but the electronic curtains were still broken, so I had to go down to change the room. I was already very tired and really upset. This black lady at the front desk affected my impression of Hilton and San Francisco. It was really disgusting. The hotel facilities and hygiene were OK, and the breakfast was an American breakfast, which was OK.

The hotel is in downtown Oakland, not too long after getting off the highway. The king-size room I booked was given a twin-bed room, but I was too tired and late to change it that day. The area is quite large. There is a free simple breakfast in the morning, which is actually not bad. Many people come for meetings. It is connected to the apartment next door. Valet is $60 a night. In fact, there is public parking not far away, which can also be considered

The hotel itself was fine. But I was very disappointed to learn that parking at the hotel was an additional $50/night. Also - when checking in they charge you a mandatory $27 'convenience fee'. This entitles you to a $7 credit at the snack bar - where a bag of M&Ms cost $6. And this is just a regular size bag, not shareable, and a $10 credit at the restaurant if you spend $30. I will not go back because it really felt like I was being nicked and dimed.

We were at an event at the Oakland Marriott City Center and switched to Courtyard Oakland Downtown (where we only had to cross the street) after the experience at Jack London Inn (not recommended) which although only a 10 minute walk away changes a lot. Spacious room for four, friendly staff, laundry available, breakfast available. Metro very close that takes you to the airport, San Francisco, Berkley ... ... ... Thank you

Had a really solid stay at this Marriott downtown. Three things stood out: The view from our room was awesome - great skyline views that made the stay feel special. Worth asking for a higher floor. The room was nice - clean, modern, and spacious. Everything was in good shape and felt updated. Good digs overall. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of variety, everything fresh, and they kept it well stocked. Actually worth getting up for. Staff was helpful and the downtown location worked great for getting around. Would definitely stay here again.

I didn't get it because I didn't have a hair dryer. I'm taking a graduation photo, so I'm not in the ancient timesㅋㅋand When I checked in at first, I made it nice and only two people, but if I stayed for two days in shampoo, I put only two insertions and asked for more shampoo towels. Doesn’t have any inside windows but if you from any windows actually very green many food spots and many stores nearby are walking distance and BART which is a form of transportation is very close by I really like everything about this room very cozy very clean and the customer service is fantastic here every time

第一次入住嚇了一跳，酒店門口居然有條火車軌道，火車嗚嗚地從門前開過。 後來睡了兩晚後發現，還好，不怎麼影響夜間睡眠，雖然我是睡眠很困難、對睡眠要求很苛刻的人。 住了幾天後，發現這家酒店真的挺好：交通特別方便，輪渡碼頭就在酒店斜對面、步行距離五分鐘，擺渡到舊金山市中心25分鐘。步行到輕軌（BART）也就十多分鐘。去奧克蘭市中心也是步行距離，Chinatown也在那。公交線路也很多。真的很方便！ 酒店後面就是星巴克，喝咖啡也方便。 然後，最美的是酒店靠近海邊、碼頭，早上出去散步真的感覺很好、很美。 服務也不錯、房間挺大的。 我前後一共住了十多天，感覺越住越舒服。
