"I had a great stay at this hotel and would return if I go back to DC. My complaints are minor: there are no outlets by the bed, there was some random repairs happening in the morning, and my room phone didn’t work until I put in a complaint. Other than these things, the hotel is in a great location and is very clean!"

"Absolutely loved staying at the Churchill Hotel! It is in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to DuPont Circle and the Metro. Very safe neighborhood. There is a separate area in the room with a desk. Actually, large enough to use as a dressing room! We will definitely be going back and staying at the Churchill."

"As a Hilton Honors member I trust the Hilton Quality standards worldwide and never had so far a disappointing experience until now. The Washington Hilton is well located and the overall facility is nice. But the level of cleanness on the floors is below average, and for the very first time I see the housekeeping just putting fresh towels in the room and a plastic bag with coffee supplies, without doing literally anything. This is simply not acceptable and doesn't correspond the Hilton standards. Also the room service is a Fastfood delivery in plastic bags and paper boxes. Again, I haven't seen such a thing in any other Hilton. On top of it, they charge obligatory $25,- per day for hotel consumption, regardless if used or not. Overall a very disappointing experience. The front desk staff and the Concierge were very friendly and professional, therefore the upgrade of the service stars."

"We loved our stay at the Washington Plaza, friendly, helpful and courteous staff, all amenities were great,. The room was nice, clean and the soap, shampoo and conditioner were great, 2 bottles of water were in the room and a small fridge. The gym was great, lots of machines, free weights, TRX, bozu ball. Weighted balls, there was lots of equipment. The Bar/restaurant had good food, reasonable prices and good service. All round wonderful play to stay."

"The location is excellent, in the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a restaurant downstairs, and many good restaurants are nearby. Free coffee is provided."

"I did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC."

"A lovely hotel in a lovely neighborhood. There were some deficiencies, however: The heating/cooling system works only one way or the other. Heat had been turned off, and our room was uncomfortably cold. We got an extra blanket but not one of a limited number of space heaters. The lighting in the bathroom is poorly placed and there is no lighting for the desk, which makes it useless, except during the day. The breakfast was minimal for a hotel of this quality."

"I stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holiday, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent — very close to the White House, with plenty of restaurants nearby. What I really appreciated was the daily cleaning service, which was always done thoroughly. The restaurant on the first floor was also impressive, with food and service comparable to a fine-dining restaurant. Everything about this hotel was perfect the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. If I visit Washington again, I will definitely stay here again."

"There is a kitchenette and washing machine, the room is small but acceptable, because B1, so the floor-to-ceiling windows are generally lighted, the service attitude is good, there are many places to eat nearby, CVS is opposite, the traffic is convenient!"

"It is amazing services and experiences with their staffs. Very friendly, very helpful, very kindness especially one of their hotel bar restaurant and her name is “Patz”. She wonderfully kindness and helpful when I struggled with my handbag letting Inside the train when we can off at foggy bottom station. She letting me to use her phone to contact the lost and found metro office and even talk through with me. Very convenient location between at M street and 22nd St NW. 15 min to White House, then few minute to all the Mall surrounded. Then train from foggy bottom to Union station or capitol for capitol, library congress, Supreme Court and all the popular museums/art gallery along the site. The hotel is the best hotel experiences we have had for our entire first trip IN USA. Just a very weird experience that both my sons got bitten by buds or fleas for the stay but it doesn’t happened to me even we in the same room and bed? All well, hopefully they no other customer had this issues. But I still feel lucky and big thank you to the teams, management and all the other onsite staff. Loved it and will definitely back to you for our next trip to DC….xx"
