They patiently answered all my questions and even recommended room types and local eateries based on my preferences, making the entire check-in experience smooth and enjoyable. "Visiting Luoping in August is off-peak season, and I was the sole guest. The guesthouse was run by just an auntie and a grandpa. The auntie was very warm and kind, and the grandpa was quite chatty. They also had a very gentle dog. The room was clean and tidy, and the price was very affordable. The only minor drawback was that we couldn't watch TV. The auntie, being elderly, didn't know how to operate the smart TV, and we didn't want to bother her, nor did we know how to use it ourselves, so we just didn't watch any TV during our stay. Nearby attractions include Jinjiling (Golden Rooster Ridge), Jinji Peak Forest, and Jiulong Waterfall. For meals, you'd need to go to another street to find restaurants. There's also a local market where you can find very affordable fruits and delicious, inexpensive hotpot with crispy pork trotters and pickled cabbage. When I checked out, the auntie wasn't there, so I couldn't say goodbye to her in person and only managed to bid farewell to the grandpa. Seeing him stand behind the door, watching us drive away, was quite poignant. It instantly reminded me of leaving my own hometown, with my family watching from the doorstep as we drove off. The guesthouse is wonderful, truly feeling like my own rural home. Highly recommended!"

"Our primary goal was to visit Luoping's Jinji Fengcong (Golden Rooster Hills) and its vast rapeseed fields, so we meticulously chose and booked the highly-rated Xinyuan Dream Guesthouse on Ctrip, conveniently located within the scenic area. It was spotlessly clean, tidy, and comfortable, and our spacious view room offered direct views of Jinji Fengcong. After staying here, we realized that staying within the scenic area is absolutely the best choice, saving both time, effort, and money. The guesthouse is run by a young, university-educated couple. The proprietress is a sweet, friendly, and charming young lady; her radiant smile is as captivating as the blooming rapeseed flowers themselves. They offer freshly prepared dishes and rice for all three meals, which are excellent value for money and taste wonderfully fresh and light. The owner even personally drove us to the scenic area entrance in his electric cart, which was incredibly thoughtful. Right outside the guesthouse, there's a field of rapeseed flowers (Pic 2) where every casual snap turns into a stunning photo. Public transport is also conveniently accessible right outside the entrance. I've already recommended it to all my friends on social media who are planning a trip here!"

"The owner upgraded me to a nicer room because it a slow travel season. The room was very modern and comfortable. I think this room would be perfect during warmer months in spring and summer. It’s very close to the famous Jinji Peak Cluster. The owner was gracious to let me use an electric bicycle to explore the beautiful area. The food options and a variety of restaurants were limited in Jinjicun, but I enjoyed good noodles. Jiulong Waterfalls is about 40 minutes by car to the park’s west gate."

"The hotel in this county far exceeded my expectations; I even considered staying another night. The location is unique, perched atop a small hill, accessible via a charming little tunnel. It offers panoramic views of the county. The room was spacious and clean, with complimentary fruit, snacks, and drinks. A hot bedtime drink was even provided, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with everything delicious, including spicy shrimp! This was just a stopover; I'll definitely make a special trip to Luoping for a vacation in the future, and I'd definitely come back just for this hotel."

"It was a very good stay experience. All the service staff are very warm and friendly. I live in the sea of flowers, just when the rape blossoms are in full bloom. The room facilities are complete, and every room can have a view. The breakfast tastes good"

"Facilities: The equipment is in good condition and the air conditioning (air conditioning) is powerful. The shower water is warm enough. The mattress is moderately soft and firm, and the pillows have the right fluffiness. The brightness of the light is relatively good. When sleeping, the brightness of the light is warm yellow, which is more reassuring. Hygiene: Overall hygiene is okay. My friend and I booked 2 rooms and decided they were OK. Environment: My room has a hanging chair, I like it. There are also low stools with comfortable cushions. The surrounding environment is quiet, and there are late night snacks within 3 kilometers. After walking around, there are schools, so you don’t have to worry too much about safety. Service: Basically, it arrives at night, which is okay."

"Beautiful place, very quite, clean, soundproof is great though you might as well open the windows and enjoy the sounds of nature. We also tried BBQ for dinner, liked it as well. It was our overnight stop on the way from Lijiang back home. We wanted to stay more :) The stuff and the owner of the hotel were really friendly. The hotel is built on the former runway of the old airport. Very spacious. Nice area to walk around. I liked how the hotel was designed. I also saw a wheelchair at the lobby to accommodate people in need. Very thoughtful. Definitely recommend this place and consider it for future road trips to Yunnan and back."
