"This hotel was a pleasant surprise on our Qinghai-Gansu loop trip! I booked it based on good reviews, not expecting much, but it totally exceeded my expectations. The front desk attendant was super friendly and even upgraded our room. Our room had a 120-degree view, and we could clearly see the herdsmen's horses and sheep grazing on the opposite grassland. The bedding was really comfortable, easily comparable to a star-rated hotel. The cleanliness was also excellent. If you're visiting Chaka Salt Lake, I highly recommend staying here; it offers great value for money!"

"Choosing this hotel for our drive to Chaka was such a smart decision! It's less than a 10-minute drive from the scenic area, and parking is incredibly convenient, even offering charging stations, which is a huge plus for electric car owners like us. This hotel is one of the best in town, and the facilities are very well-maintained. The in-room oxygen supply and adjustable air conditioning were lifesavers – we slept perfectly on the plateau without feeling stuffy. It even snowed on the mountains last night, and the view from our room was stunning. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with anti-slip mats, showing excellent attention to detail! The breakfast selection was extensive. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Chaka!"

"Environment: The rooms are well-planned and immaculately clean. We were traveling with our elderly family and children and booked a suite with two bathrooms and a small living room, which allowed us to stay comfortable without disturbing each other.
Service: When we returned to the hotel after our trip that day, it was almost 11:00 AM when we checked in. The front desk even prepared a warm midnight snack for us. A bowl of piping hot Tremella soup in the room was truly delightful. The pre-prepared snacks, such as peanuts, fruit leather, and raisins, were also delicious. The service was attentive and the attention to detail was excellent. 💯"

"This hotel is conveniently located close to the highway exit. The soundproofing is excellent, so there's no noise disturbance. They even provide humidifiers and oxygen concentrators, which is a thoughtful touch for out-of-town guests and truly heartwarming. We also received a complimentary fruit platter. Upon checking out, they gave us local souvenirs (seabuckthorn juice and highland barley yogurt). As a tour leader with 8 years of experience, I am exceptionally satisfied with Huacheng Hotel. It's even more convenient for self-driving tour groups, as there's ample free parking both in front and behind the hotel. Superb! [Strong][Strong][Strong] There's also a PetroChina gas station directly across the street, which is very convenient."

"The hotel lobby is shown here. The rooms are located in a separate building next door, and the style and facilities are quite different from the main building. It was quite a psychological difference. I didn't see any oxygen generators or other equipment. The upside is that it's close to the scenic area, only about 10 to 20 minutes by car from the Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area. Downstairs, there's a row of small restaurants, and the prices are a bit pricey but acceptable."

The landscape painting on the wall complemented the overall style perfectly. The surrounding views from the hotel were also great, and the facilities and services were excellent. From check-in to check-out, every step was delightful. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

It is very convenient to eat in front of the hotel and very close to Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area.
Friends who bring their children to Chaka Salt Lake must bring waterproof overalls for their children. The waterproof shoes rented in the scenic area are of no use to active children. Two children also got wet wearing waterproof shoes. .

After visiting the Salt Lake, my pants were covered in salt, and the hotel staff kindly took them to be washed and delivered them back to my room, which was a really thoughtful touch. I slept soundly until morning. When I woke up, I saw a thick blanket of snow outside and even got to play in the courtyard for a while. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. Overall, it offers great value for money, and the environment is quiet and peaceful. YYemolujiaThe main advantage is its location, within the Sky One scenic area. On clear nights, the stars are clearly visible outside the hotel. However, like many other stargazing rooms, the rooms are cramped and small, and quite cold at night. Whether you can see the stars from inside depends on your eyesight. The young man who brought water was very helpful; kudos to him. Also, they include entrance tickets to the scenic area, which is a plus.

The front desk was very enthusiastic, the room was clean and hygienic, but I forgot to take a photo of the room and uploaded it. The breakfast was very rich and had everything. The children were very happy eating it. This hotel is worth recommending and I give it a five-star rating!

GGuest UserFriends who come to Chaka Salt Lake can come to this homestay at night. It feels very good to stay for one night. They have a pick-up service (the boss will also pick up the scenic spot). The scenic spot is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. It is relatively close. The next day I will go to Qinghai Lake. The boss helped recommend the bus driver's contact. Way, the homestay walks to the bus station for about a few minutes. In the evening, the boss will organize everyone to see the stars ✨, and be sure to wear more nights that are super cold. The boss is super good. The equipment for free oxygen inhalation is provided for breathing difficulties at night. The best night to sleep in the northwest is the best. I wish you a pleasant trip and wish the boss a prosperous business. 🧨

Environment: The view is pretty good. The grassland room type is in the first row, with no obstruction in front, and you can directly see the grassland and salt lake (but it is still a certain distance from the lake, not directly by the lake), but people who like the view can still consider it;
Starry sky at night: It depends entirely on the weather. I couldn't see a single star that night, only clouds and the moon.
Facilities: There is a projector (but you have to adjust the focus yourself and log in with a platform membership account, otherwise you can't see anything); the toilet is relatively small (no door, only a cloth), and the shower room is a separate wet area, which is okay, with stable water flow and temperature.
Parking: You can park directly in front of the hotel;
Others: The front desk is a bar, the atmosphere is good at night, but there is no experience.
Nearby: Some restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, which is quite convenient.

GGuest UserThe location is super close to Chaka Salt Lake. The young lady was very welcoming; I asked her to show us the rooms first, and she patiently guided us. I saw the rooms were really nice and clean, so we decided to stay.
The price was excellent, and I was so happy with the environment – clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also very good, and every staff member was enthusiastic. They refilled the breakfast promptly; it was delicious and very convenient. If you're visiting Chaka Salt Lake, definitely stay here – the price is just right. It was also a very comfortable stay, and the food was good too.
I didn't take any photos of the hotel, but the environment is exactly as they advertised.
