"Hotel is surprisingly great for its price! With just some few bucks to add vs the usual lodge/backpacker rates, you will get far superior amenities, room size and service as a whole. The hotel owner is the same with Zuri Resort by the bay, and the adjacent Westown Lagoon. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Hotel facade, pool and bar and restaraunt are also great. They got three or four pools. The rooms are okay, not as pleasant as the hotel facade but still are in good condition and still comfortable. The only downside would be the location, its 5-6km away from the town proper - will take around 10mins via tuktuk/tricyle. Bfast buffet is just okay. Not a lot of choices but still good. Overall, still a good experience for the price."

"This is trully amazing hotel! Room was a little bit small but to be honest it was so cozy there, so that it's size doesn't really matter. All rooms are right next to the pool which is super convenient. P.S. try smoothie Mango + pineapple at the restaurant in the hotel 😉"

"Second booking with Vela Terraces and we made the same request to put us in a lower floor so we don’t have to climb all the stairs with our young toddler but unfortunately they were fully booked so we got a room on the 4th floor. It wasn’t that bad because the staff helped move ALL our luggage for us and we had 2 large hard suitcases plus a huge backpack carrier and multiple smaller bags which were all heavy. Very much appreciated the help! Since we knew about all the stairs from the reviews, there’s nothing to complain about. Despite no free upgrade because they were fully booked, the bed like the first time was very comfortable and the service was just as good as the first. The bathroom however wasn’t as nice as the Family room which was where we stayed during our first visit. It’s an open shower with a piece of glass that covers half the shower but water can still spray out. The bathroom light kept flickering and there were some ants. But all in all, it was still a good stay. AC worked well and they provided bottled water. If you want a better room, book the Family room on the 2nd floor! It makes a difference! The hotel is close to Dayon Kamo Food park which is a cute place with multiple food stalls. Great food, live music, love the atmosphere!"

"We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and it was worth the money. The room was spacious and clean. Hot and cold shower was available. The staffs were very kind and accommodating to our needs. I was able to work for 1 night with their internet even if it was just around 8mbps but there will be times the internet will be out. If you get the other side of the hotel, you will get an amazing view of the mountain. Only downside of our stay was that my husband got diarrhea on the last day of our stay, it could be from the boat tours or may be from the hotel buffet since I was not able to eat some of the meals there while my husband did. But overall, the hotel stay was great! Hopefully Palawan solves this ongoing “diarrheic outbreak”. We were able to visit Puerto Princesa and El Nido before but never had the experience getting sick."

"The hotel is very good, I had room with a window and terrace giving a view on the green mountain. My room #511 was clean, spacious and comfy with a good bathroom well equipped. The swimming pool is not very big but agreable.The location is a bit far walking from the port and the sea. However, there are renting offices of motorbikes near the hotel. I booked at the hotel a Tour to the Coron island which was fantastic. I recommend this hotel."

"We read a lot of bad reviews and were a bit skeptical but decided to give it a chance. Our experience was nothing like the bad reviews. The room was clean and had no bugs or so. Everything was working properly in the room, there was even a TV with cable TV. We ordered breakfast and lunch in advance for a given time and all was ready at that time. Also, food was good and pricing aligned with these kind of accommodations, dishes were 300-400php in general. Staff was nice. Boat rides work well. Don't be scared by the bad reviews!"

"My overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there."

"Great hotel at an affordable price with the best view! The location is very convenient, close to the main street, but not in a noisy place, you need to walk about 10 minutes, or take a transfer from the hotel, which leaves every 30 minutes. Breakfast is varied and tasty; pancakes and omelettes are prepared upon request. If you are choosing a place to swim in the pool, it is better not here, it is too warm here and with a large amount of chlorine. The hotel is not new, but overall everything is good, they clean it every day! Thank you very much, we really enjoyed it 😍"

"Great location and good view from the pool/restaurant area. But, the bright blue paint in the pool stained my skin and ruined my swimsuit. The wifi did not work in my room at all. There was a window in my room but it had been covered up so I couldn’t see out of it. However, it let light in and there was a bright light right outside the window making it difficult to sleep. If I had known there wouldn’t be a proper window I definitely would have booked somewhere else."

"La Natura Resort It is a veritable natural manor, it is said that it was built by Italians, using the style of island dwellings, and full of tropical green plants with vitality everywhere. The conditions are also extremely simple and natural, not even air conditioning (the ceiling fan is indeed enough), but the local waiter has a very good attitude, suitable for people who like to explore and have low hardware requirements. It is about three or four kilometers from Coron Town, which has been completely deep into the village, but the traffic is still convenient. The front desk will help to call a car and go to the town for 150 pesos (about 20 RMB). Due to the poor overall development level on Cologne Island, popular hotels such as Zuri, Venus Royal, Funny Lion are not good, it is better to try this one"
