Villa Chingo ★★★
"It was a bit spartan and it was not clear at first that we had to pay cash, which is rather old-fashioned. There were hardly any curtains in the room so you woke up with the daylight. No view from the balcony, which is what we actually came for. It was also possible to prepare your own food or drinks. You really need a car to have a pleasant stay here."
SU Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is very close to the lake. However, if you're coming from another city and the bus station is further from the lake, you'll have to take a taxi, making the location inconvenient. The lakeside street below the hotel is very lively, bustling until midnight. Many young men and women are eating snacks like egg waffles. It's about a 15-minute walk to the old town. The hotel elevator is rather small. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. Overall, this hotel is excellent for a vacation, but less convenient for business travelers in a rush. I recommend it for a relaxing getaway."
Villa Old Town ★★★
"A lovely little stay in a fantastic location. Room was spacious and had what was needed. Close to Old Bazzar and walking distance to the port, beaches and churches."
Apartments FANTASY with Free Parking ★★★★
"I really enjoyed my time in Ohrid due to this apartment. Thanks to Daniel for warm welcoming"
Villa Varosh ★★★★
"Super convenient and close to the lake shore. The staff are lovely and pleasant, and the atmosphere is so cozy and warm. You have a common room with hot drinks, some biscuits for free. The rooms and the whole place isVery hygienic. Would deffo recommend!"
Bogdanoski Studios & Guest Rooms ★★★
"The room is right next to the most beautiful Lake Ohrid. It is within walking distance to the lake. The room is very warm, comfortable and clean. The boss is very friendly and it is very convenient to have various restaurants right outside the door."
Hotel Granit ★★★★
"We visited as a couple early June for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel and pool were clean and well kept. Rooms were dated but we don't mind as long as they're clean. We had a lake view and the view was stunning. The all inclusive bar is minimal, soft drinks are available to free pour however alcoholic drinks consisted of a beer, Gin, Vodka, red or white wine and Rakija (Macedonian Spirit) this is previously mentioned in other reveiws so we were aware of it. The only all inclusive bar is at reception level which is 3 floors above the pool level. However - there is a pool bar but it wasn't open at the time we stayed due to the season not officially starting. I believe this should be mid-late June. We found all staff friendly and as helpful as they could be, if they didn't know the answer they would say! WiFi was free and decent speeds as well as reaching to the far end of the pool. If you get chance to go in the lake we would highly recommend as it's so fresh and warm!! As a vegetarian I always check hotel reviews and had seen the food wasn't fantastic for veggies however there was always a large selection of salads, breads, fruits, cheeses, potatoes ect but we did eat out a lot. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of hot and cold meat, yogurts, fruit, cereals, hot and cold drinks, cheeses, breads - we had this every day and a couple of lunches in the restaurant. The all inclusive drinks did end at 10pm but I'm not sure if this was due to the season not officially starting or if this is just their policy, there was background music but no entertainment. The centre was a 1.45hour walk for us at an average pace but it's worth the walk and wander as there's some lovely bars and restaurants on the way as well as getting a variety of views! I would recommend the hotel and we would stay again however if you are expecting a massive selection of late night drinks, food and entertainment this isn't for you. They are a country relatively new to tourism (UK tourism has only been going 2/3 years) and you can tell it's being worked at however it isn't what a lot of people 'expect' compared to some countries with a good reputation for tourism. "
Hotel Pela ★★★
"Nice staff nice breakfast good menager but you have to invest more in the rooms. The carpet was so dirty and old ,the chair and small table on the Balcon are from 50 years ago.The restaurant was good"
Park Lakeside Ohrid ★★★★
"The rooms and the entire hotel are old, neglected, and dirty. There were underwear belonging to former guests in the room. The elevators were broken. The breakfast area was so filthy we couldn't even eat breakfast. They didn't even provide glasses. The hotel is understaffed. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Definitely don't choose this hotel."
