"Came to Yading and it was totally worth it. The hotel was great, stayed for 2 nights straight. The hotel is about two kilometers from the main street, which makes it very quiet and ensures a good night's sleep in the high-altitude environment. They even have oxygen machines; one person in our group, who was suffering from altitude sickness, found great relief using it. The hotel also has a restaurant, and the dry-pot cauliflower and stir-fried pork were both delicious. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic; as soon as our car arrived, several handsome guys and beautiful ladies helped us carry our luggage into the lobby and warmly offered us warm water. We needed extra slippers and toothbrushes for our three-person occupancy, and any request was promptly delivered by a ******* gentleman with just one phone call. A truly excellent experience."

"The owners are a very open and sincere ******* couple. The couple just contracted the hotel last month (the slippers used for bathing are all new). The negative reviews from the previous stay probably have little to do with the current owners. The overall environment of the hotel is the same as the product details page. The aisles and corridors are very spacious. I am not trying to ”deceive”. I only include some detailed pictures. These were the best two nights of sleep during my trip to western Sichuan. The advantages are as follows: 1. It is only a 5-minute walk from the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is convenient and close to the road. However, the room does not face the road, so it is quiet and convenient. 2. The hotel has a place to dry clothes (although it is not dedicated, it can block the rain), which is great news for people who cannot dry their clothes during long-term travel. After all, don’t worry about the public washing machine and dryer. 3. The room has a table, chairs, and clothes racks, plenty of hot water, and a normal toilet. Especially their hair dryer, it turns on and off automatically (it turns on when you pick it up, and turns off when you put it back) 4. Very attentive and distinctive. The kettles are all ceramic! There is a multi-plug adapter thoughtfully installed on the socket (so I didn’t even use the one I brought)."

"The hotel was a pleasant surprise! The location is excellent, with many delicious restaurants nearby. It has its own parking garage, making parking very convenient. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and clean. The service was also excellent, especially the butler, Xiao Wu, who was incredibly attentive and helpful – a big thank you! The afternoon tea and breakfast were great every day. The bedding was also very comfortable; after traveling from Chengdu to Daocheng Yading, I finally had two good nights' sleep. 😊 Highly recommended!"

"Currently, this is the only hotel with the same diffused lighting facilities as the scenic area, which is extremely useful at high altitudes. It's very close to the scenic area, only a three-to-five-minute drive away. The food in the hotel cafeteria is also cheap and delicious. The owner is incredibly kind; when I couldn't get a taxi up the mountain, he specially drove me to the scenic area entrance for free and even offered to call him to pick me up on the way down. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Yading."

"The guesthouse was decorated in a typical ******* style. Although it looked a few years old, the owners were the most welcoming and attentive guests I encountered on the entire trip, so I had to stay an extra day. The owner's wife provided oxygen bags, trekking poles, and other equipment free of charge. The black-boned chicken noodles for breakfast were exceptionally delicious, and we ate almost a whole bowl of the owner's homemade chili sauce. We told her how delicious it was, and the next day we received a huge jar of chili sauce!!! Does anyone understand the joy of traveling?! The owners also distributed apples and pears they grew themselves for free. The pears were incredibly sweet, probably because of the high altitude! When we left, the owner even forced us to eat pears, haha! We've got our fruit covered for the rest of the trip. I hope their business thrives!"

"Great hotel, but we came off season so probably that’s why it didn’t meet our expectations. The staff and rooms in the hotel istelf are very nice, but the area around feels like a complete ghost town. Nothing is open and there is nowhere to eat in the area, only a 5 minute drive by car to the nearby”Shangri-La town” where only a few restaurants are open. Overall the hotel itself was good, breakfast was okay and it’s fairly close to the Yading park (10 minutes drive). We hope to come back in the summer for a better experience!"

"A great hotel, it was a pleasant surprise on our way back! Congratulations to the ”lobby manager” for his great personality. He provided considerate services such as welcoming guests, sending (hot spring) baths, accompanying breakfast (and asking you for a bite by the way), etc. Hahaha. The hotel is located in the Rhododendron Valley. Although it was not the flower season when we arrived, we drove all the way and passed by alpine pastures and river valley streams. The hotel is not far from the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. There is also the ******* Chitu Village a few kilometers away, and a niche viewing platform where you can see the sunrise Jinshan. The hotel's signature hot spring is very good, and the hot water in the room is also hot spring water. After washing, the skin is smooth, and there is no sulfur smell, because it is a metasilicic acid hot spring? In the plateau area, there are three low, medium and high temperature pools. After a day of playing, I came back to soak in the hot spring to watch the stars, and applied a small mask. The experience was not too comfortable~ The hotel service is also very considerate. There will be a one-to-one reception sister when you arrive at the store (it should not be a designated person, but the one who is in charge of us happens to be a beautiful girl with a good personality), who will respond to the needs of guests at any time. Brother Dengmi at the front desk personally took us to see the Golden Mountain in the Rizhao Mountains, unlocking the sacred mountain experience at zero cost. By the way, Chitu Village is his hometown, a beautiful village where you can see snow-capped mountains, surrounded by mountains, with large grasslands, wild rabbits, ******* pheasants, and deer parks. It is worth staying here for a while~ In general, except for the location that may require self-driving, everything else is perfect, recommended~"

MMhh_My family and I stayed at this hotel during our trip to Daocheng Yading, and the service was genuinely superb! The owner proactively contacted me, arranging for us to store our luggage at his friend's hotel and park our car there free of charge. He then personally drove us in his private car, moving our bags to our actual hotel. He also connected us with his friend who secured a 10% discount on our entrance tickets. When we checked in that evening, he even helped set up the oxygen supply and carried our luggage upstairs. This was truly 'nanny-level' service – incredibly attentive and beyond expectations! Later that evening, they even gave us a discount on the yak hotpot dinner without us having to ask. We absolutely loved it! Free trekking poles were also provided.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious. It came with two bath towels, two disposable towels, and basic toiletries. The hotel must be older, likely from a long time, as the toilet was a bit worn and the glass was cracked. But it didn't affect the stay. The other facilities were fine. You could tell they'd invested a lot in the renovations. The owner was very welcoming. When my child arrived and vomited, he immediately put me on a tube and put me on oxygen. He was fine after 15 minutes. Just outside the hotel, there are restaurants, a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a milk tea shop—all very convenient. It's a little more expensive during National Day, but Daocheng Yading is so popular, there's nothing you can do about it. By the way, there's a huge apple tree right outside the hotel, covered in red apples! 🍎

GGuest UserThis guesthouse has a lot of ******* character, and the service is very warm and welcoming. The hallway smells really nice, and the location is great too. There's a pretty famous restaurant not far downstairs. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small; we ended up parking on the street.

GGuest UserI am YS solo traveler but have lived in China for six months each year for 12 years. My fourth time to Yading to visit the fabulous park. I stayed at the Super 8 one night before going into the park. Then I stayed in the small yarding Village inside the park for one night and then return to the Super 8 again for the third night before departing yarding. The hotel was just great. Walk in town and main street with many restaurants in 2 minutes. Lots of feee managed parking behind the hotel. The value for money is quite good. I paid 183 RMB. my room was large very clean comfortable bed and I have no complaints. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip back to Yadin.

GGuest UserLocation is great, in the center of Riwa. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Only 10minutes to the entrance of Yading. Staff are helpful. They can speak a bit of English. Foreigners are accepted. The room is ok but there is always smoking smell in the room (maybe from the room nextdoor)

NNYimpressionThis hotel has a peaceful atmosphere, in town Daocheng. Not far from the dance square. You can walk 25-30 minutes from bus station during daytime (at night recommend Taxi). The hotel is only one block near the river and you can walk to the White Tower. The hotel has a friendly staff, her name Tan Hongli (please use translator app to communicate in Chinese). She can assist you and always care for all client inhouse. The room is large with tea reception area at window. Warm and comfort bed, hot shower is immediate when need. I would recommend friends to this hotel, and repeat.

CCHANONWe just need to stay overnight to take the morning flight in Daocheng. We arrived around 8pm, so didn't get to see much of the town. Good points: + The hotel has elevator, which is helpful, even though a little old. + There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, so we could buy food for our next day breakfast as the rooms didn't come with breakfast. + The staff is very helpful in booking us a taxi the next morning to go to the airport. + The room we got has no cigarette smell Improvement point: - The hot shower was working, but the water pressure was low, so it's very hard to shower without getting cold.

IIvory PTingThe hotel is very close to Yading bus station, only 5 minutes walk and short stairs ( not difficult) But there's another way round to the hotel as well. Because Riwa village is small and pathways are connected.. All amenities are available and check in process is smooth and easy. As Riwa village is very small, you can find many many food shops and super markets. The only thing is you cannot WeChat with hotel. They don't use WeChat. But you can reach hotel from Amap app easily by searching ”Daocheng Yading Xiangya Shan Holiday Inn”. If you search Ivory mountain, you will not find it

GGuest UserThis is probably the best hotel in Shangri-La. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and they offer a post-hike foot massage. The front desk agent, Xiaolin, was very friendly and attentive, even helping me order oxygen tanks. I absolutely had to order the medical-grade 58-yuan tank; other 20-30 yuan tanks wouldn't work. The 58-yuan tank is high-pressure pure oxygen, and a few deep puffs are incredibly effective when I have a headache. I used four tanks and it worked flawlessly. Milk Lake is 5,500 meters above sea level, a nearly 20-kilometer round trip. With only 120 tickets available per day, I only managed to avoid the 8-kilometer round trip. Unless you arrive at the scenic area by 7 a.m., you'll never get a ticket. A must-have for hiking!
