"This is my third time in Hengdian, but my first stay at the Guomao Hotel. **Pros:** Excellent location, a four-star hotel with great management and service. The rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is varied and plentiful, and soundproofing is good. The bedding is just right, not too thick or too thin. **Cons:** The drainage isn't great. The showerhead is fixed to the wall and can't be adjusted, which isn't ideal for kids. The showerhead itself is a bit old-fashioned, and I didn't like the spray pattern. The light switches aren't labeled, so for someone forgetful like me, I had to turn them all on one by one to figure out which switch controlled which light (this could easily be fixed with stickers). While I understand a large hotel can't just renovate on a whim, the hairdryer definitely needs an upgrade. Despite the cons, the staff were all very welcoming, and they even gave a gift to my child when we checked out. I didn't see the 'welcome fruit' that was advertised as a special feature. Also, the room booked on Trip.com indicated floors 4-6, but we were assigned the very last room on the 16th floor. As for why I didn't ask the front desk to change rooms? I was simply too tired and lazy."

"The room was very spacious, a two-bedroom suite with a nice small living area, perfect for spreading out all the takeout food. It's super close to Qin Huang Palace, just across the street, and there are many costume rental shops nearby. It was clean, hygienic, and the service was good. Plus, there's free parking and charging stations available. Plenty of places to eat around as well."

She was remarkably patient and proactive when we encountered an issue with our license plate upon exiting the parking lot, even standing out in the scorching sun to help us resolve it. While the room felt a little dated, it still offered great value for money at this price point."
