The hotel integrates guest rooms, dining, meetings, hot springs, recreation, and entertainment into one comprehensive destination, covering a site area of 87,000 square meters, of which 64,000 square meters are dedicated to outdoor gardens. Ideally situated at the heart of Shili Yintan (Silver Beach), one of "China's Top Ten Most Beautiful Beaches," the hotel backs onto Huashan Mountain and faces the South China Sea, commanding sweeping views of the mountain, the gardens, and the sea. The hotel enjoys convenient access to Dajiaowan National 5A Tourist Attraction, Yiye Cheng Shopping Street, the Nanhai No. 1 Museum, and the Mazu Temple.
Built on a hillside, the hotel features its lobby on the third floor, a design conceived to offer an elevated vantage point overlooking the sea. At the center of the lobby stands a ship, echoing the ancient merchant vessel housed in the Nanhai No. 1 Museum, embodying the cultural heritage of the Maritime Silk Road and, in the spirit of the Belt and Road Initiative, conveying a vision of shared prosperity and win-win cooperation. Above the lobby, 3,999 lifelike bronze birds in flight symbolize peace and harmony.
Every guest room offers a view—be it of the sea, the gardens, or the mountain. Within the rooms, wooden flooring and rattan furnishings subtly reveal the tropical charm of maritime culture.
The hotel offers family suites and poolside family rooms, where guests can enjoy quality time with their children. The property also features a children's water park and the Lejing Kids' Club, creating a richer family resort experience and allowing children to embrace the island scenery through exploration and play. In addition, the hotel is equipped with both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, enabling guests to swim and unwind regardless of weather or season.
The hotel also provides new energy vehicle charging stations for the convenience of guests on self-driving electric vehicle trips (please consult the hotel for details).
"I booked the deluxe sea view room for 799, including breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea. On Saturday, there was an additional 500 charge, but the experience was really disappointing.
First, the 'Colorful Summer' event was very lackluster. We arrived at 2 PM and didn't see any clowns. The so-called 'bubble fish parade' was just two staff members carrying fish-shaped bubble machines emitting tiny bubbles and handing out long balloons, with no music or atmosphere whatsoever. Then, the bubble pool was just one bubble machine that stopped after half an hour. It couldn't compare to Sanya at all.
Next, let's talk about the afternoon tea. It was a fixed set of sandwiches, small cakes, two fried rolls, and two drinks. Everything was pre-made. When I asked a staff member, they said it was leftovers from breakfast. The nice-looking and delicious cakes displayed prominently required an additional purchase of 38 yuan per slice. If you can't offer quality, then don't offer it at all. This kind of operation is very frustrating.
Then there's the seafood buffet dinner, priced at 268 yuan per person, which was included in our package. Once inside, we found there was hardly anything to eat. No roast meats, no lamb chops, no sashimi, no crayfish, and no decent seafood. And everything tasted awful. If you can't afford a good chef, then don't offer a buffet! Is this really worth the price you're charging?
The breakfast buffet, available until 10:30 AM, was actually good and worth trying. The kids' club is also very large and has a heated pool, maintained at 26-28 degrees Celsius. However, the East Wing is under renovation, so getting to it from the West Wing involves a long detour outside and then using a different elevator, which is quite inconvenient.
Finally, the mosquitoes were terrible. My child was covered in bites all over their face and body. When staying in a sea view room at this hotel, how can you not open the window to enjoy the view? But opening the window lets mosquitoes in, and the electric mosquito repellent was completely useless. The hotel does provide mosquito repellent spray, but it's not placed in the room beforehand; you have to call for it. The cooling balm didn't do much for the bites, and there's a risk of babies ingesting it if they grab it. You also have to return it after use.
Additionally, the bar by the sea at night had someone singing, which was quite noisy."
