Firstly, i want to thank the staff Nana. She was very helpful and kind. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. They kindly helped us join the two beds together and made them very neat and comfortable. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas. We really appreciated the excellent service and hospitality throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

The location is definitely this hotel's biggest plus point. It's a mere three to four-minute walk from the subway station, and just two stops by metro to iconic spots like The Bund, City God Temple, and Oriental Pearl TV Tower. You can easily hit multiple landmarks in a single day without any hassle. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, with greenery everywhere. The rooms are spotless. Although there's no elevator, the staff are super helpful and will carry your large luggage for you. Luggage storage after check-out is also very convenient, making travel completely stress-free. Not sure why the ratings are so low!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Shanghai. The location is excellent — you can reach many of the main central attractions on foot, which made exploring the city very convenient. Also, just a few meters across from the hotel there is a Line 2 metro station, which takes you directly to the airport, making it especially convenient when arriving or departing from Shanghai. The room was spacious and comfortable for two people with two large suitcases, and the bed was very comfortable and easily accommodated two people (1.90 m and 1.70 m tall). We really appreciated the convenient light switches that allowed us to control all the lights in the room. The bathroom was also spacious and well equipped, with a smart toilet and a separate shower. The room had everything we needed, including slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes, bottled water, coffee and tea. Most importantly, there was no smell of cigarette smoke in the room. We stayed on the 9th floor and had a view of the street, which was nice. The room was cleaned every day, and it was also very quiet — we didn’t hear much noise either from outside or from neighboring rooms. Breakfast was not included in our booking, so we cannot comment on it. The staff were friendly and helpful. They kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the standard check-in time, and when we were leaving, we asked if we could weigh our suitcases and they were happy to help us. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would be happy to stay here again.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, and the overall experience was absolutely wonderful. First of all, the hotel enjoys an unbeatable and prime location in Shanghai. [爱心]The transportation here is extremely convenient, allowing easy access to major scenic spots, shopping areas and city landmarks. It saves plenty of traveling time, which is perfect for tourists exploring the city. The highlight of my stay was definitely the stunning room view. From the room window, I could directly overlook the magnificent Huangpu River and the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower. The daytime scenery is bright and pleasant, while the night view is breathtaking and spectacular. As the city lights turn on at dusk, the entire riverside and tower are illuminated with gorgeous neon lights. The shimmering river water matches the brilliant city skyline, creating a dreamy and luxurious urban night scene. Watching the beautiful night view quietly in the room was extremely relaxing and healing. The panoramic view brings a fantastic visual enjoyment that perfectly represents the charm of Shanghai. Thanks to the superior location and amazing river view, this stay was unforgettable and worthwhile. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who want to enjoy the best Shanghai night scenery.

I had such a wonderful experience and I’m genuinely impressed with the overall quality and service. From the moment I arrived, everything was well organized and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. They were attentive throughout the experience and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. The quality was also much better than I expected. Everything was well maintained, clean, and carefully taken care of. I could tell that a lot of attention had been paid to the small details, which really made the experience feel special. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, making it a great place to spend time and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. What I appreciated the most was the service. The staff were professional but still warm and approachable. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, they were happy to help and explained everything clearly. It’s not always easy to find places that provide both good quality and genuinely good service, so this was definitely something I appreciated. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good quality, great service, and a pleasant experience. I personally had a great time and would be more than happy to come back again in the future. Definitely worth trying!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Nanjing East Road Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient to reach the Bund, pedestrian street, and various other attractions. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, all of good quality, allowing you to enjoy a satisfying meal before heading out for the day. However, there were a few drawbacks. The family room we booked was on the smaller side, with limited space once our luggage was in. The balcony room's view was obstructed by other buildings, so we didn't get the expected Bund view, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel also has many international guests, so travelers who prefer a quieter environment might want to consider this beforehand. Overall, this hotel is suitable for tourists primarily focused on sightseeing and returning to the hotel in the evenings to rest. For couples, I'd recommend opting for a standard room. For families, consider carefully before booking a family room. If you're hoping for a Bund view, I wouldn't advise choosing a balcony room.

Great location on Nanjing Road. My room had a view of the TV Tower, and the breakfast selection was varied. The lounge on the 30th floor is beautiful. I was able to extend my check-out until 2 PM without any extra charge. I really enjoyed everything! 🔥

The location is excellent! We were traveling with my parents, and it was just a few minutes' walk to the Bund. Since my parents walk a bit slower, they could easily come back for a nap at noon when they got tired, then head out again in the afternoon. The building itself is an old Shanghai architectural style, and staying there felt like stepping back a few decades. There are bars, cafes, and fast-food options right outside, making it suitable for younger guests too.

The hotels location (basically right on Nanjing Rd) is amazing, with amazing views over the pedestrian area. Can also actually see the Shanghai Tower and Financial Tower from the room if youre in rooms on the left of the building (rooms 25+ on each floor). The location is about halfway between both East Nanjing Rd & People's Park metro lines, which means you're about a 3 minute walk from both so you have immediate access to multiple metro lines. We found that incredibly convenient. The Bund was also only about a 10 minute walk away. The team here were really hospitable (my Mum probably drank about 2L of the free lobby tea) and also held our bags for us after checkout which was so incredibly convenient since we have a late night flight and didn't want to be dragging our bags around in the summer heat. Andy in particular was really helpful and taught us some more Mandarin. Ive already stayed here twice anyway, and will do so again. The convenience and price is simply too good to pass up. Just in case people are wondering, this hotel shares a building with Holiday Inn (just separate lobby). Took us a bit to find initially but once we knew that it was easy.

I chose the Dailman Hotel on the Bund for my trip to Shanghai this time. It's a new hotel, just a few minutes' walk to the Bund and Nanjing East Road, and right outside you can get a perfect shot of the Oriental Pearl Tower. It's super convenient for sightseeing, eating, and getting around. The hotel has a retro Shanghai-style decor, and it's brand new with no strange smells. The soundproofing in the room is excellent, so I slept incredibly well at night, and robots even deliver items directly to your room. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and overall, it offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Bund in Shanghai!

A great experience! The room was spacious enough to accommodate our family of six. The decor was innovative, and it was fully equipped with daily necessities like a washing machine, refrigerator, kitchenware, and even condiments. It's also very close to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Highly recommended!

A hidden gem in the bustling city, offering breathtaking Lujiazui night views. After comparing several Bund hotels for our family trip to Shanghai, we finally chose this Hanjin hotel. Its location, design, and service were all exceptional, far exceeding our expectations! 【Prime Location, Super Convenient for Getting Around】 The hotel is located on Renmin Road in Huangpu District, a 5-minute walk from Yu Garden and Chenghuang Temple, and a 10-minute walk to the Bund riverside promenade. Yu Garden Station on Line 10 is just 700 meters away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the old town and enjoying the Bund night views without constant travel. It even has a free underground parking lot, perfect for those traveling by car. Despite being in a bustling commercial area, the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. Closing the window completely blocks out street noise, offering a true oasis of tranquility. 【Public Areas Overflowing with Atmosphere, Perfect for Photos】 The entire building boasts a retro Art Deco Shanghai style, with its iconic bronze streamlined entrance being highly recognizable. The lobby is on the 7th floor, and upon entering, we were immediately struck by the giant bamboo glass chandelier. The wooden textures, warm soft lighting, velvet sofas, and brass furnishings perfectly blend with Hanjin's aesthetic, creating a gentle yet sophisticated ambiance. The 8th floor houses the quiet Hanjin Study and Tea Room, while the 11th-floor open-air rooftop garden bar is a must-visit spot. It offers an unobstructed panoramic view, perfect for enjoying the evening breeze and overlooking Lujiazui's 'three-piece suit' and the Oriental Pearl Tower. Sunsets and night views are effortlessly stunning here. The hotel is adorned with floral art everywhere, with flower design details hidden in the elevators and corridors, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. 【Exquisite and Comfortable Guest Room Amenities, River View Rooms are Heavenly】 The entire room features a gentle pink and orange Shanghai-style color scheme, with elegant ink-wash floral walls. It boasts a 65-inch TV with screen casting, a smart toilet, a wet and dry separated bathroom, and an oversized scenic bathtub, making bath time incredibly therapeutic. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the corners are meticulously clean. All drinks and snacks in the mini-bar are complimentary, and free bottled water is always available by the elevators on each floor – a testament to their thoughtful details. The children especially loved it! The front desk offers free popcorn 🍿 in the afternoon, which tastes just like cinema popcorn! The amenities are comprehensive: the 7th-floor buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, covering Chinese, Western, and local specialties; there's a gym and a yoga room for light exercise during leisure time; and the hotel regularly hosts flower arrangement workshops, offering many recreational choices. 【Overall Summary】 This hotel perfectly blends old Shanghai's charm with Hanjin's elegant aesthetic, striking a balance between a bustling location and a peaceful private space. It's suitable for couples, family mini-breaks, and trips with friends. Explore Yu Garden's old streets during the day, stroll along the Bund in the evening, and then return to the hotel's terrace to enjoy the Pudong River night view – it's the top choice for a vacation in downtown Shanghai, and we'll definitely stay here again!

This place is incredibly convenient, right next to the Bund and Nanjing Pedestrian Street – literally just a few hundred meters away. 🏨 Regent Shanghai Pudong | A Luxurious Stay on the Bund “When Regent elegance meets the Bund's brilliance, it's more than just a stay; it's an immersive narrative of old Shanghai.” 🚪 First Impression: Understated Luxury, Starting with the Automatic Door Before even stepping inside, the 'REGENT' sign, illuminated against the night sky, made a striking first impression. The hotel entrance features an automatic sensor door, allowing for a graceful, hands-free entry – Regent's initial welcome to its guests. Upon entering the lobby, the Art Deco-style reception area gleams under a colossal artistic chandelier. The circular concierge desk, like a stage center, already had two staff members waiting – yes, check-in here is done while seated. There’s no impersonal counter barrier, just a relaxing sense of being truly welcomed. 💁‍♀️ Butler Service: Yuki’s 'Above and Beyond' Philosophy The day before check-in, Butler Yuki (I must emphasize: both beautiful and incredibly professional!) meticulously inquired about my preferences via WeChat. Upon arrival, she personally escorted me to my room, explaining everything from smart room controls to the minibar. She responded promptly to all my WeChat requests and even thoughtfully reminded me about the laundry service deadline – this feeling of being 'remembered' is the true soft power of a luxury hotel. 🛏️ Guest Room: The Bund View from Bed – No Exaggeration The most astonishing surprise in the room was the direct view of the Lujiazui skyline from the bed. The Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower shimmered under the night sky, and cruise ships on the Huangpu River cut through the neon reflections – this window alone was worth half the room rate. The turndown service was a continuous delight: a warmly handwritten welcome card, exquisite pastries under a glass dome adding a touch of ceremony, and even a custom-engraved luggage tag and art guide – this 'gift just for you' truly brought warmth to the member experience. The welcome amenities included fresh fruit and red wine, demonstrating attention to detail. 🍳 Breakfast: 'Slow' Food Moments at Harmonia Restaurant Breakfast was served at Harmonia, with a menu blending classic Shanghainese dishes and Western delicacies. The black truffle lobster omelet was fragrant, and the steak with roasted tomatoes was perfectly cooked – my only minor regret was the slightly slow pace of service, but gazing at the Bund in the morning light, who would truly mind? 🏋️ Fitness Center: LifeFitness and Thoughtful Details The gym is equipped with a full set of LifeFitness equipment. The treadmills not only had a pre-loaded hotel welcome interface but also thoughtfully provided bottled water. Sweating it out in the morning light or evening glow, with the Bund breathing outside the window, is a unique aesthetic of exercise only found at the Regent Shanghai Pudong. 🎨 Spatial Aesthetics: Every Corner is Curated From the emerald green marble inlay in the elevator lobby to the corridor adorned with brass and dark wood accents, and the geometric light and shadow curtain at the entrance – the hotel itself is a contemporary art museum. Even the room key card uses a wooden chip design, with a warm touch reminiscent of old Shanghai's scholarly charm. ✨ Summary The Regent Shanghai Pudong redefines luxury with its 'anticipatory service': the butler's pre-arrival greeting, the personalized gifts during turndown, that bottle of water on the treadmill… these 'non-essential' thoughtful touches precisely form the 'essential' unforgettable experience. If the Bund is Shanghai's façade, then the Regent Shanghai Pudong is its soul – outward brilliance of the river view, inward warmth of human touch. Recommendation Index: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Experience: Book a river view room and check in at sunset to let the Bund accompany you from dusk till starlight. “Amidst the enchanting river views, begin a private sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle.” – The hotel's welcome card promised this, and they truly delivered. 🌃

Can you believe it when you come to Shanghai for a few hundred dollars to live in the Bund first-line river view room? This homestay, you can see the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl Tower and Lujiazui three-piece suite as soon as you lift your eyes in the room. The view of the rooftop is very good. The Bund is in front. The location is excellent. It is very convenient to go to major scenic spots.

The location is super convenient, making it easy to get to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. From the balcony, you can even see the Oriental Pearl Tower. Breakfast can be delivered to your room; on the first day, we opted for room service and enjoyed it on the balcony, which was lovely. The second day, we went downstairs to the buffet, which offered a wider selection and was also great. The only downside is that there's no mini-fridge in the room; apparently, only the suites have them. The service was good, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out.
