"Amazing Stay at Aston Hotel Batam Our experience at Aston Hotel Batam was truly amazing. From the moment of arrival, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, always ensuring that every guest felt satisfied and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more memorable. The breakfast food was exceptional, offering a wide variety of choices to suit every taste. From freshly baked pastries and tropical fruits to local Indonesian dishes and international favorites, every item was delicious and beautifully presented. The buffet was well organized, and the staff made sure everything was replenished promptly, creating a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience each morning. "Pls be mindful Hotel require deposit 100k IDR. When check out, the hotel will check the room first before u get your deposit back. Need to wait around 10mins. Can say cheap rate hotel with 2 breakfast just around rm125 per night. I chose this hotel bcos i arrived Batam night time, so no need fancy hotel hehe. The hotel is not shoplot hotel, the whole building is the hotel. At night quite noisy, not sure why, maybe there’s event at the ballroom hotel. The toilet room is average (quite smelly maybe bcos old hotel), not suitable for fussy person. Same goes to the bed and bed sheet. But the room is so spacious and have kiblat sign (for muslim prayer). Breakfast spread also average, suitable if you not eat much. But still have egg station. Nasi goreng, meehon goreng, cereals, also have. Overall still ok if you stay 1 night."

"Check in was a breeze. Very thoughtful service by staff to plan the decor and celebration of our Anniversary! This is what truly stands out for Swiss-Bel as compared to other big & new hotels in Batam, though the hotel is much older and needs some refurbishment especially the toilet with some unpleasant smells. Food buffet is not bad and rather delicious but variety across days can be further improved and they can consider serving Indomie for breakfast buffet! Kudos once again to the thoughtfulness of the customer service enjoyed in our stay!"

"I had a great stay at this hotel during my trip. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The staff especially Trestha was very welcoming and always ready to assist. "We were upgraded on our recent trip to Batam. i Hotel has two locations.. at Nagoya Hill (where we stayed) and Baloi. The Nagoya property is conveniently located just next to Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre. There's a side gate, which is locked and accessible by room key card, to and from the Shopping Centre. This makes it very accessible and provide extra security other than walking along the street. Access to the hotel via vehicle will be inspected at the main gate before the security personnel opens the gate. Hotel is clean and staff are courteous. Since we were there for only 2-nights we didn't need room cleaning. In the early afternoon of the second day I received a message that my room has the No Disturb light on and just wanted to confirmed if we need room makeup. Such thoughtful service! The breakfast buffet carries a wide spread. I would suggest taking up on their breakfast before heading out for the day. They have 2 coffee machines that makes about 15 different beverages. Just a caution that they lean towards to sweeter side. At the buffet there's also an egg counter that will make your eggs be it omelette, over easy or soft boiled. Going for meals and shopping malls are convenient. Besides Nagoya Hill which you can easily walk to, other malls like the the Grand Batam Mall and food courts like A2 and Nagoya Food Court are easily accessible by Grab. Cost is around IDR21,600.00. From Batam Ferry Terminal to the hotel cost about IDR37,000.00."

"This was quite a large hotel. As I took the elevator from the lobby to my room, I noticed a peculiar smell in the hallway. The scent in the elevator also didn't quite agree with me; it seemed to be from an automatic air freshener that just wasn't to my liking. I also caught a faint whiff of cigarette smoke while walking down the corridor. On the positive side, breakfast was absolutely superb – truly the best buffet meal. My only real issue was the smell in the accommodation. The staff were friendly, and I highly recommend trying the breakfast buffet. They had a great selection of fruits and various other dishes. The egg dishes were prepared in multiple delicious ways, and the noodle dishes were also very tasty."

"We chose Wyndham Panbil due to its proximity to the nature reserve and also the view of the lake. What we like: - the view of the lake, at times we can see big birds or eagles flying across the lake - it's proximity to the nature reserve. When we signed up for the hike, they had someone who picked us up from the lobby to the nature reserve and also back after that - the service and the staff. All smiles all the time and very polite. They do not over promise and was upfront if they can or cannot fulfill our request. They go around asking for feedback on how to improve their service. - they have a bakery and cafe selling local food nearby. The bakery opens from 10am onwards. There is also a supermarket nearby that sells all the essentials and even a butchery i guess for people staying at the apartment. What was not ideal: - though the lake is awesome the front road below can be noisy at times. Not a deal breaker cos we all slept through the night. Though there was some jam the night before hari raya other than that all the other evenings or nights the traffic was okay and we were not caught in any jam. - the swimming pool water looks a bit murky esp the indoor one which I believe is the jacuzzi - not much facilities for the kids except the pool - the interior of the hotel looks dated, noted some upgrading happening. The flooring of the room had some slabs that were spoiled. - they only had rain shower so it can be challenging for me to shower my child without getting myself wet Other than that I think the service from the staff really made up for the limitations for the facilities."

"We mostly enjoyed our stay in the suite as it is very new, clean and spacious. Have given it 5 stars for most aspects. Areas of improvement include having curtains that can block off the motorbike noise as it is very close to the road, and ensuring that the floor trap is cleared. Our shower room got flooded very easily. Additionally, for guests who wish to not be disturbed, the hotel can hang the clean towels and bottled water outside the room, rather than not providing."

"First time to Batam, hotel location is next to the mall which you may get what you need from mall and shops nearby. The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great. There is a swimming pool at Level 2 and and massage center inside hotel with reasonable price. If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. This place may be good for business traveller but for backpacker or light traveller, you may choose to stay near the attractions where you can reach within walking distance."

"The hotel's facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is acceptable. You can see monkeys and squirrels around the hotel, so for a beachfront resort, this level of cleanliness is probably the best they can do. The ocean views and scenery are stunning, and there are two very large pools that are great for swimming. It's a fantastic spot for photos. I'd say the ocean views here are among the best you'll find on Batam Island. The hotel's surroundings are very remote, so getting around pretty much requires a taxi."
