The hotel has a convenient location. It was a pleasant walk to the beach, and there are plenty of shops, cafes, laundromats, currency exchange offices, etc., nearby – everything you need.

The room was quite clean, though not perfectly so, and the decor was a bit dated. The hand towels were well-worn, which wasn't very pleasant to use, and the shower glass wasn't clean. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was quiet.

As for the downsides, our building seemed to be located above the kitchen, and every morning we woke up at 5 AM to the smell of grease from the kitchen vents. It was awful; we couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from.

Friendly service, delicious food, and a strategic location. I'll definitely stay here again when I come to Bali. 🙏

The Kayana is an oasis nested in the bustling part of Seminyak. 
The environment inside is a whole other world - rustic and traditional, it definitely fits the foreigners expectation and imagination of Balinese culture. Unfortunately, there is a bar playing EDM nearby and in the still of the night, we can faintly hear it. This turns out to be a minus point for what we had hope for - a truly quiet villa. However, the villa folks can hardly be blamed for this - nothing much they can do when your neighbour is like that. Nevertheless, our sleep wasn’t disturbed by the music (if you can call it that). Everything is clean but aged, so it really depends on your level of acceptance. The staffs are marvellous. From front desk to gardening crew, each and every one of them smiling and courteous. Their service and kindness gave The Kayana branding the biggest plus.

There are plenty of activities to do at the hotel, and you won’t feel bored staying at the hotel all day! The staff greets with a smile and remembers every guest, the hotel breakfast is delicious! Will come again if I have the chance!

This hotel offers satisfactory facilities and service for its price. All the staff were friendly and helped us find a quiet room that met our request. The food was about average, and the taste was decent.

One of the standout advantages is its strategic location. Sitting in the heart of Jakarta, it gives you seamless access to culinary spots, shopping areas, and key attractions—yet somehow still manages to feel like a quiet retreat once you’re inside.

The service is another strong point. The staff are professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful without being overbearing. It creates a smooth, hassle-free experience from check-in to check-out, which makes a big difference for a staycation.

Breakfast is worth highlighting too. The variety is solid, with a mix of local Indonesian dishes and international options, making it easy to start your day on a good note.

Overall, Hotel Santika Premiere Hayam Wuruk delivers a reliable, high-quality staycation experience. It’s not trying to be overly flashy—and that’s exactly its strength. It focuses on doing the essentials exceptionally well, which is why it keeps me coming back.

This hotel offers a great lake view and is very comfortable for a stay. The cleanliness is also excellent, and the staff are friendly. The only downside is that the doors aren't very soundproof at night, so you can still hear people walking by. The breakfast spread is also very comprehensive.
