Staying at Shangri-La Shanghai was exactly what a city escape should feel like: luxurious without being fussy, courteous without feeling formal.

We were on the 25th floor, and the view of the river was the best part of the day — morning light on the Huangpu, the skyline stretching out, and at night the Pearl Tower glowing just down the road. It’s quiet up there, real tranquility despite being so close to all the tourist attractions.

The comfort carried through everywhere: the indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding, the gym had everything we needed, and the grand lobby is lined with high-end stores if you feel like browsing. 

But the thing we’ll remember most is the afternoons — tea time in the lobby with a live folk music performance drifting through the space. It turns the whole lobby into something calm and beautiful.

Courteous staff, comfortable rooms, and a location that puts you right in the heart of Shanghai. We’ll be back.

Once again, staying at the Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai felt just like coming home, and it was a truly rewarding experience. We booked a king room and a twin room for our family of three. When we requested rooms on the same floor, Lvy and Chloe from Guest Relations went above and beyond, even upgrading our rooms – we were incredibly touched! 

Even though it was plum rain season in Shanghai, with misty rain every day, standing by the large floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered unique views, near and far, allowing us to appreciate a different kind of scenery. 

Breakfast was as sumptuous as ever, the rooms were still incredibly comfortable, the environment offered a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, and the surrounding area remained perfect for shopping and dining. 

Though it's an established five-star hotel, it exudes a fresh vibrancy within its rich heritage. Every visit here brings new discoveries and new experiences!

I booked this hotel for a concert, and it was super convenient, right across the street from the Oriental Sports Center. Plus, Taikoo Li is just downstairs, which was amazing for shopping and dining. From my room, I could see both the stadium and Taikoo Li. The hotel's decor and cleanliness met the star rating standards, and breakfast was great; my kids especially loved the fried eggs and bacon. When I called the front desk, they quickly sent slippers and toiletries for my four-year-old. Overall, I was quite satisfied. On the day of the concert, my two kids stayed in the room alone, with the older one looking after the younger. When we returned, I saw that my little daughter had tidied up the room and even neatly arranged the slippers, haha.

Staying at the Shangri-La Hotel, Hongqiao Airport, truly redefined my perception of an airport hotel. It's not just a convenient stopover for catching a flight, but a refined haven worth experiencing in its own right.

The hotel excels in convenience: From Hongqiao Terminal 2 Arrivals, you can follow the signs and walk directly to the lobby through an air-conditioned corridor, without ever needing to go outside. This is especially convenient for travelers with heavy luggage.

The environment was the most pleasant surprise. I was initially worried about airplane noise, but the room's soundproofing was beyond impressive. Watching planes take off and land from the tarmac outside my window, I felt a sense of tranquility, completely isolated from any hustle and bustle. As a fully Horizon Club-equipped hotel, I enjoyed coffee and a light meal in the lounge in the afternoon, watching the flight information screen – it was both reassuring and relaxing.

The room design incorporates elegant Old Shanghai elements, with meticulous attention to detail. The toiletries and bedding maintain Shangri-La's consistently high standards. Breakfast deserves special praise; in addition to the standard buffet, there are à la carte options like Eggs Benedict, meat patties, soy milk, and fried dough sticks. The waitstaff thoughtfully reminded us of the dining times. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was genuinely smiling and promptly responsive. A special shout-out to Charlene, who was warm, attentive, and always happy to help!

In summary, whether for business or a romantic getaway, this hotel delivers a delightful experience that exceeds expectations. The next time I fly through Hongqiao, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

I stayed at your hotel for a business trip this time. The long journey left me exhausted and sleep-deprived, triggering a migraine and neck pain. I decided to visit the hotel's massage center and was fortunate to have masseuse #170. Her techniques were professional and skillful, and her pressure control was just right, precisely relaxing my stiff shoulders and neck. After the massage, my headache and neck pain were greatly alleviated. There was no upselling of additional services throughout the session, making for a comfortable and relaxing experience. I even had a peaceful nap during the massage, and my migraine discomfort basically disappeared. Although the masseuse is not a medical professional, the treatment effect was comparable to professional physical therapy, genuinely resolving my physical discomfort. I'd like to specially thank masseuse #170 for her dedicated service and highly recommend her. I will definitely choose her again on my next stay! Lastly, the hotel's breakfast was also very good.

When I'm traveling, if I'm ever unsure, I always go for a Shangri-La executive room, and it never disappoints. Shangri-La truly lives up to its name; the facilities are impeccably maintained, and the attention to detail is something you have to see for yourself. We checked in directly at the lounge, where Front Desk staffer Yuan Xiaofan was incredibly welcoming and arranged for an extra bed since we had our child with us. Executive Lounge Manager Ms. Li Rongbo even thoughtfully upgraded our room type for the whole family.

Traveling to Beijing, this hotel really stood out! The location is excellent, in a high-end area, and the service is top-notch. As someone who pays close attention to details, I was incredibly impressed. They even upgraded my room to one with a separate vanity area, which I absolutely loved! The high-floor views are fantastic, and the surrounding facilities are very convenient. Both check-in and check-out were super fast. The room fragrance was lovely, and it was quiet and well-soundproofed, definitely meeting star-rated hotel standards. Overall, excellent! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the lobby's fresh, subtle fragrance instantly makes you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. The room amenities are high-quality, the bedding is just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a perfect night's sleep until morning.

A special shout-out to the duty manager; his attitude was truly exceptional! He was always smiling during check-in, with a focused yet gentle gaze that made me feel genuinely respected. When I asked for tips on local attractions, he not only answered patiently but also offered many practical suggestions, without any hint of being dismissive. It's rare to find a hotel that combines such high-quality facilities with such warm, attentive service. Next time I'm in this city, this will definitely be my first choice!

The staff were friendly and helpful, check in was a breeze. Lovely atmosphere in the lobby, room was huge and spotless clean with an amazing view. The 360 bar is well worth a visit, it's got a spectacular view and they make great cocktails. Lovely pool and gym too, it's an amazing retreat in Louhu and it's so close to the border, which makes it such a worthwhile place to visit. Also, there were 5 different types of teabags to choose from in the room, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast buffet really surprised me with bacon, sausages and egges, which was amazing, but there's also Chinese food and vegetarian so it's a great buffet. Definitely want to go back!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Futian Railway Station. Although it's an older hotel that's been open for many years, the facilities and service are still top-notch. The room was very comfortable, and the layout was incredibly practical and convenient to use. It seems like it's been renovated, so it doesn't feel old at all. The front desk staff even assigned me a room with a great view; I could see Lianhua Mountain out the window, a lovely green sight that was very relaxing. I didn't take any pictures inside the hotel, but I did snap one outside the entrance.

On the first day of our summer vacation, we chose Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen Nanshan. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming staff made us feel right at home! The front desk staff processed our check-in with a big smile and incredible speed! Nico, the lovely guest services lady, was professional and gentle. She proactively greeted us and escorted us to our room, anticipating our needs. She also responded promptly to all our questions. Her thoughtful service really helped us unwind after a four-hour drive! The bay view room offers an excellent vista, especially the stunning sunset – definitely worth staying in the room for! Plus, the shopping mall downstairs has our favorite 客语 restaurant, which is a nice bonus! 

The breakfast restaurant on the 66th floor has a fantastic view, with panoramic scenes of Shenzhen Bay. The tables aren't crowded, and the service is prompt. The freshly made bread and desserts are a major highlight! Oh, and the freshly made rice noodles were pretty good too!
