The room I stayed in was incredibly spacious, bright, and clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly for cooling, and both the hot and cold water temperature and pressure were excellent. I had a really good night's sleep. The service was also fantastic. All necessary information, including the WiFi password, breakfast details, and laundry service, was sent promptly via WeChat. The room even had an umbrella and a canvas bag for guest use. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a good variety of food. It's a perfect location for setting off on a bike ride along the Erhai Lake West Corridor, and it's not overly noisy or crowded. It's also not far from Dali Old Town, Three Pagodas Park, and Xizhou Ancient Town.

The place is lovely, I’d definitely recommend booking a room with a terrace. The breakfast is simple but good, and the owner was extremely helpful. They organized everything we needed and even helped us deal with the road closures during the marathon.

I'm so incredibly happy and lucky to have booked this guesthouse! I compared several options on Ctrip before finally deciding on this one. The villa's design and the sea view were the deciding factors. Upon arrival, I was absolutely delighted. The design is beautiful, and the details are perfectly meticulous. My room was 'Zhixia' on the second floor, and the owner mentioned that each room has a different name, which is a nice touch. 😊 A major highlight is Nanxi's location. It's situated within an ecological corridor, and the guesthouse itself opens right onto it. Only rented bicycles or electric scooters are allowed here, so there's no disturbance from motorized vehicles. To the left, it's very close to S Bay, and to the right, Longkan Pier and Dali Ancient Town are super convenient to access. It's truly a prime location! Definitely book a sea-view room. Standing on the balcony, you can watch people passing by, which adds a unique charm. Nanxi's breakfast is also quite special – it's both good and delicious! I even have pictures! The owner of Nanxi also has an adorable little dog named Laifu (Lucky), who is gentle and well-behaved. Absolutely precious! Nanxi has so many great qualities, so I won't ramble on. I highly recommend it to everyone. Next time I come to Dali, I'll definitely choose to stay here again. I loved it so much!

The hotel is in a great location, right by Erhai Lake, making it easy to get around. It's especially quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all, and there are restaurants and bike rental/return points nearby. Taxis are also quite convenient. You can see Erhai Lake directly from the hotel entrance, with trees beside it – the scenery is simply stunning. The hotel service is very attentive; the younger brother on staff was particularly enthusiastic and answered all our questions, actively helping us with our itinerary and carrying our luggage. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. The breakfast was very rich and delicious, showing how much effort the owner puts in. There was even a lovely afternoon tea. It's a shame I forgot to take photos. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali and Erhai Lake. I truly loved it!

Traveling during the off-season, the owner upgraded me to a room on the second floor for free. I hadn't paid attention to the floor when I booked, but the second floor is definitely more comfortable; I could lie in bed and look at Erhai Lake. Out of all the scenery in the western section, this hotel's view is the most beautiful. There are no trees blocking the view, and it's not next to the commercial street, so it's very quiet. Waking up to the calls of grebes and egrets in the morning, and watching the shimmering Erhai Lake, gave me a Walden Pond-like experience. The hotel breakfast was delicious, and you can eat it anytime before 11 AM, which is perfect for sleeping in. I originally only planned to stay in Dali for two days, but I extended my stay by another day because the hotel was so comfortable.

The room facilities are great, with a 2-meter king-size bed and a 60-inch TV. It's spacious and clean. The location is excellent, about a 5-minute walk from the eco-corridor, and they even offer free bicycles. The owners are very friendly and provide excellent service. Highly recommended!

The room was really spacious, with fantastic natural light and ventilation, and absolutely no weird smells. The courtyard's greenery was also very well-kept. The owner has even added a mushroom hotpot restaurant, which makes dining incredibly convenient. It's also super close to the beach, just a two-minute walk! I genuinely can't recommend this place enough! Plus, this particular section of the beach isn't overly crowded, so you can avoid the hordes of people and have a much better experience!

This guesthouse was the highlight of our trip! The day before check-in, the housekeeper proactively reached out to confirm our itinerary and provided detailed information about everything we needed to know. During our stay, they were available on WeChat all day, responding instantly to any questions or last-minute requests. The service was absolutely impeccable. The guesthouse itself boasts expansive views and stunning scenery; there's a different kind of beauty to enjoy both in the morning and evening. Overall, the experience was fantastic – it's definitely on my list for a return visit!

A satisfying trip always depends on comfortable accommodation, and I feel so lucky and happy to have stayed at Leyuan during my visit to Dali. It's just a two-minute walk from Erhai Lake, with absolutely stunning views, and it's super convenient to get anywhere. On our first morning, I accidentally woke the owner up with my call, and he actually came to pick up our luggage at the village entrance on his tricycle, haha! Both the owner and his wife are incredibly warm and welcoming. They chatted with us about our travel plans, and the owner shared some fascinating and funny stories about his time in the military. It's so convenient that you can cook upstairs; I've been enjoying eggs and corn so much these past few days. The corn here is especially sweet! The owner's dogs and cats are all so adorable and playful, adding some delightful memories to our trip. Last night, the owner and his wife even invited me to go for barbecue with them at the North Gate of the Ancient City. If I hadn't just eaten mushroom fried rice and been worried about gaining weight the next day, I honestly would have loved to go with them. It truly felt like a home away from home. If I get the chance to come to Dali again, I'll definitely choose Leyuan, and next time I'll stay longer and go hiking with the owners, haha!
