Staff were helpful. The location was near the train station which is great for walking. The hostel has a large lobby and communal area for hanging out and chilling. Lots of amenities. Water is free to refill. Beds and toilets were clean and well-equipped with hair dryers. Really pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place for solo travellers.

The first time I stayed at the All-Female Youth Hostel, the experience was very good! The house is in the blue tone of Yili. The decoration is very stylish. The yard on the first floor is spacious and beautiful. There are grape vines, gourds, various flowers and plants, and swings. The lights are especially atmospheric at night. It is very suitable for taking photos. There is also a terrace lounge area on the second floor! The first night, the 8-person room was full, and it was upgraded to a 6-person room. The room was a password door, a private bathroom, a valuables cabinet, a coat rack, slippers and toiletries (very intimately prepared aunt towel 🥹) The sheets were changed for each guest, and you can see the little brother drying the sheets every day haha. You can also use the washing machine for free, and you can liberate your hands when you are tired. It's awesome! The boss and the front desk brother are very good at serving. They will help carry the luggage up to the second floor. The proprietress is also very cute and enthusiastic. She will recommend a delicious cake shop ～. I lived too comfortable, and stayed for two more days. Haha, I am strongly in Amway, a safe youth travel 👍🏻.

I don't have particularly high expectations for youth hostels. The location is in Liuxing Street, the surrounding area is quite quiet, and it is close to places to eat. The room is clean. The most uncomfortable thing is that there is no air conditioning. It is too hot in the middle of the night.

This was my first time staying in a youth hostel, and I was surprised by how good the experience was. I originally planned to stay for only one day, but the cleanliness and environment were excellent, so I extended my stay for another day. Sometimes, though, it's a matter of luck. On the second night, a woman snored in the bunk above me. Luckily, I had earplugs. 1. Impressive details: When checking in, the hostess provided a protective cover for my ID card if I didn't have one. She also explained the location of the washing machine upon check-in. 2. Comfortable environment: For just over 70 yuan, during peak season, there's a large courtyard, and the cleanliness is excellent. I preferred to stay in the courtyard most of the time. I have to say that the cost of living in Yili is not that high. During peak season, hotels of the same price are much better than those in mainland China. 3. There's a cat: There's a cat in the courtyard. It's very affectionate, greets people, and is very pleasant to pet. It was half the reason I decided to stay an extra day. I plan to stay in every youth hostel with cats in the future. There was also a rather shy Jianzhou cat. It ran away the first time it saw me, but the second time it actually followed me and acted cute. It's a shame I didn't bring any cat food. 4. Extended stay discount: You can ask the staff for extended stays, which are usually better than online rates. Cons: There's not much food nearby, so you'll need to order takeout or walk a bit further, and the options are quite limited. Avoid taking taxis during rush hour, as the traffic is so bad it's unbearable throughout Yining. Use taxi apps to hail taxis, as they're hard to find in the deep alleys. Also, I hope you don't run into any group of more than two people, as groups of three will start chattering, which can be a bit unfriendly to those who are already asleep. But that's how youth hostels are, and there's nothing you can do about it. Overall, the youth hostel is excellent; the environment is comfortable, clean, and hygienic, and the cleaning is done promptly. My next stop is Kashgar, and I'm planning to stay in Gumaoning again.

The accommodation is generally good, but there are two minor points. 1. When asking the staff how much the minimum extension fee is, the staff said 80, but it is 75 yuan when booked online. It is not reasonable to point out this situation. The female staff member was very loud and emotional and repeatedly said to the resident: I am just a worker, I don’t know much; some people even booked more than 90, why don’t you say; if you think it is cheaper online, go and book online, don’t ask me to book. This is not a normal staff at all, the basic work quality should be; there should be no emotions in life, but they should not be brought into work; 2. In summer, it is normal to have some mosquitoes in the room. The mosquitoes here may bite cattle and horses. People can’t stand it when they are bitten, and the swelling is very big. Go to the hospital; Youth Hostel does not have any medicine, and it is recommended that subsequent residents bring their own mosquito repellent and other medicines;
