"My experience was perfect. The front desk attendant was very helpful and kind. The room was exactly like in the photos. Good facilities and she let us leave our luggage until 4PM. I highly recommend this place. The best guesthouse I have stayed so far."

"This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in! It was really cheap, even during peak summer travel season! The bed was much more spacious than I expected; I could even organize my luggage right there. The second-floor common area has everything you need. It's super convenient for cooking and heating up food, and there are three refrigerators, making it easy to store your items. Seating for meals is also great, with high individual seats and large tables. There's also free luggage storage where you can lock your bags to a rack. They don't charge extra if you check out late. You can sit anywhere on the first floor. Even after the coffee shop closed at night, many people were still lounging and chatting there. I'm not sure if this hostel is Indian-owned or if there are Indian staff working here, but it felt like everyone was a foreigner, so we all looked out for each other. I felt really good here! If I ever stay in Kyoto for an extended period again, I'll definitely choose this place!"

"This was our second time staying at this hotel, and we came back when we returned to Kyoto. During our two stays, we stayed in a few different types of rooms, and overall we had a very good experience. The private rooms were pleasant, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are not huge, and you should not expect an amazing city view, but everything was practical, well maintained, and easy to use. The location is very convenient, especially if you want to stay in a central tourist area. There are also two useful supermarkets nearby, as well as a FamilyMart very close to the hotel, which makes things even easier. Another thing we really liked was the shared area and kitchen on the 4th floor. We cooked spaghetti there one evening, and it was a really nice place to sit, eat, and talk with other travelers. Overall, it is a clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel with a nice atmosphere. We were happy to come back for a second stay."

"The location is close to Kyoto station which is convenient to travel to other places (Nara and Uji). But you need to walk through an alley to the hotel, where you barely see anyone walking together. So, female solo travellers pls take alert while coming back late. The cleanliness is satisfying. Free towel, free earbuds, free slippers are provided. You can refill your drinking water here. Washing machine charge 300 yen per 30 minutes. But the dryer charges 100yen per 10 minutes. But the cleanliness of the dryer is terrible. They never clean the dust inside the tray (which is important to have higher efficiency of drying). I have to clean it myself before i used it."

"Walking close to the attractions, there are supermarkets nearby, convenient supermarkets, take time to find. Pure self-check in, not receiving the check-in email is a very troublesome thing (not the email of the reservation website), fortunately there are other accommodation passengers to assist, otherwise no one can be found, deduct the accidental episode, the hotel price is very affordable."

"It's a 6-minute walk from Demachiyanagi Station, and there are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, so it's a good location. There is a kitchen in the shared space on the second floor, which is very convenient for those who want to cook for themselves. There are also free drinks, manga, and books. The third floor is a dormitory space, and it is air-conditioned and clean, but in the case of mixed-gender accommodation, the upper bunk beds are not completely separated, so there is no privacy, which is a bit tough, especially for women. The lower bunk beds have curtains that can be closed, so I think they're fine... There are showers and toilets on both the second and third floors. It's good when it's not crowded, but if it's crowded, it may be a hassle to wait in line. There is a curfew, and you can't go out until 6:00 in the morning, so it may be a bit inconvenient for those who want to go out early in the morning."

"Initially, I was a bit confused because the photos on the website looked different, but after a 3-night stay, my conclusion is that I'd probably stay here again if the price is the same. Pros: * Location. * Everything is on one floor, so there's no stress of moving between different areas. In other capsule hotels, the front desk, beds, showers, and lockers are often in separate rooms or on different floors, requiring you to constantly carry your key around. If you forget something, you end up making multiple trips, which is a real hassle. * The bed is long, stretching along one wall, and the opposite side is a solid wall with no other beds, making it less likely to encounter other guests when getting in and out. * Earplugs were provided. * The facilities were kept clean. Cons: * It felt older than it appeared in the website photos. * One side of the wall is used for large luggage storage, which gives it a somewhat cluttered impression (though this doesn't matter once you're in bed). * Two large, usable refrigerators are available."

"I had a great stay at this hostel! Everything was clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was really relaxed. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, making it easy to cook meals. I also loved the common area, it was comfortable and a great place to relax or meet other travelers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the hostel had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"The location is good near mtr. Can walk around 30mintus to another attraction, the colleagues so nice , you can cook by your self .there are many supermarkets nearby. Cause Japanese’s food didn’t have enough vegetables. The colleagues will help to clean. But there are little noises at 6am ,someone will turn on the lights and package there luggage.it depends on the roommate quality. But I kindly suggest girls and boys floor should be separate .there are many boys don’t wear shirt after shower."

"Great stay for the price point , the owner of the hostel is a friendly, personable human. The staff is also amazing as well . You get what you pay for . Every one I was there with were super respectful. If I come to Kyoto I'll definitely stay here again"
