"The staff were true gentlemen, especially Rupak, who assisted me with an issue in the morning. Everyone was very friendly. The facilities were great, and the restrooms were clean. I personally loved relaxing on the rooftop at night; it felt very freeing."

"Sara's Backpackers Hotel is really OK. The location is practical, you can get to important places QUICKLY like the Pashupatinath Temple or the Garden of Dreams. The rooms are clean, but a bit simply furnished. WIFI IS free, but sometimes a bit slow. THE staff is super friendly and helps with everything, whether it's excursions or questions about the area. Breakfast is OK too, but not super special - just typical of the country. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, a nice view to relax. There are also bikes to rent, which is cool. A few things could be better, e.g. the beds are a bit hard and the showers could be more modern. Overall, though, it's good value for money. Would come back if I'm in the area! ⭐⭐⭐⭐"

Mine had a great view of the inner courtyard, and the bed was surprisingly soft. Hot water and good Wi-Fi were consistently available, which is a big plus! Service: The staff here are truly outstanding. Friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging airport pickups, tours, or just recommending places to eat, they went above and beyond. Location: Ideal for tourists. You're minutes away from shops, restaurants, and trekking gear stores, but the hotel is just far enough from the main street to feel calm and relaxed. Price: Great value for money. The rates are budget-friendly without compromising on comfort or cleanliness. Extras: They also offer luggage storage for trekkers, which is super convenient, and the rooftop is a nice place to unwind. Overall: Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, and trekkers. If you're looking for a safe, clean, and affordable place in Kathmandu with genuine hospitality, Hotel Yala Peak is a fantastic choice."

"We read comments from other guests and we started to book 2 nights at Hostel de Ajeet. It was a good decision, no doubt, because we stayed 6 nights finally. The building is clean and built a couple of years ago. The giant bed and has a hot water shower. Being there is also sharing with your family, because they reigned the local in a very close way. It is 200 metres from the Monkey Temple and the National Museum."

"The price of the shared room seems reasonable considering the quality and location—close to the heart of Thamel. However, the room is a bit small, and during hot seasons, dealing with the heat without AC can be a challenge. I’d like to highlight the excellent reception service, especially from Mónica, who was very attentive and always willing to chat or help with anything. I’m truly grateful for the staff’s hospitality."

"Very chill and nice ambiance, staff are friendly and helpful, allowed me to take shower before the check in. The food is there good too, so do not miss it. I stayed in 16 beds dorm, and it was good experience, as dorm was spacious, modern and well equipped. I recommend."

"Extremely clean hostel. The bed was comfortable, with a power outlet, a lamp, and a privacy curtain. The shower area was spotless with new fixtures and excellent water pressure. They even had toilet paper, which is a rare find in Kathmandu hostels! Great location and fast internet. Perfect for a couple of days."

"Not in the downtown area, can't see the lake, but there is a distant mountain scenery The service is very intimate, even if there is no elevator, it will help you take your luggage up, remember to give a little tip 😊"
