The location is indeed convenient. However, the hotel has no air conditioning, and the front desk queues were long and slow, making me sweat profusely. The original room they gave me was tiny, and worse, it was right above a bar. Even with the windows closed, the noise was unbearable. I managed to request a room change at the front desk, and luckily, they moved me to an inner room, which was much quieter! The only odd thing was that the front desk wouldn't immediately give me a new room key (even though I still had my old one); they insisted I clear out the old room first and come back to the front desk with my luggage. After some discussion, they agreed that only one person needed to go down to pick up the key, which was strange. The room's cleanliness was very mediocre; the water from the kettle was still milky even after the second boil. The windows were also covered in stains.

I stayed at Smart Hyde Park View Hostel for two nights in a 6-bed dorm with a private bathroom. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough for a short stay. Having a private bathroom inside the room was very convenient and it was kept reasonably clean.
The location is one of the best parts of this hostel. It is right next to Hyde Park and close to Queensway and Bayswater underground stations, which made it very easy to get around London and visit major attractions.
The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Overall, it’s a good budget-friendly option in central London if you are looking for a simple and comfortable place to stay. I would consider staying here again.

Overall, great hotel experience but I can understand where other customers' complaints were coming from (especially if booked price was not nicely priced/deal/etc.).
On location alone, this Radisson Blu hotel is hard to beat. Right by Bond Street and Elizabeth line, it is super convenient to get to and from directly from Heathrow Airport.
Staff/service is kind and helpful. I arrived a little early (for normal check in) but receptionist helped with an early check in because the room was available, no problem.
The unfortunate is there was/is definitely construction going on right across the property (September 2024), but it wasn't that bad or a nuisance and it is what it is.

Beautiful hotel from the outside and in a wonderful location, a stones throw from Oxford Circus, Bond Street and Goodge Street underground stations. Super convenient to get anyway and plenty of shopping, cafes and restaurants but also in a quiet street so you are no disturbed by any noises at night.
The staff were super friendly and helped with a situation with my bathroom (even though it was late at night) and were very respectful and polite. The room was a little small but absolutely enough for 1 person. The room was very clean and had a clean kettle, some tea and biscuits, a study desk and a nice sized bathroom. Overall, I would certainly stay here again. Thank you!!

Staff were fantastic and we appreciated the two complimentary drinks. Location was perfect. Not a great ambience/ atmosphere in the bar / lounge area. Room needs a freshen up, very tired decor furniture. Coffee capsule drawer stank of stale milk, so didn't use coffee facilities. Ensuite was very small. No privacy net on window just a roman blind, So had to shut blind and put light on. Shame not to have natural light coming in.
OK for a cheap one night stay!

We had a good stay overall. Mr Alex in front desk was so friendly and welcoming, he made sure we were assisted properly. He was a ⭐
Been to a lot of Holiday Inn and the hotel was amazing. The only little issue was the bathroom that was so narrow and almost touching the door from the toilet bowl but I can say that the toilet and batch was still good as they had this non slip mat for safety. We are satisfied and will be back. ☺️

I stayed here before entering the accommodation of my school. Honestly, it was not good for me because the room was small and smell was bad. But staff were very friendly, breakfast was also affordable. I recommend this hotel someone who spend their time outside and just short sleep in the room.

Clean, convenient location! Stayed for one night on my way out of London and it did the job. Slightly more spacious than other similar places in the city.

The hotel was beautiful. Loved the flowers outside. Very helpful staff. The room was lovely a cool due to aircon and outside being in the high 20s for heat. Would definitely stay again as only a short walk of 3 mins to Marylebone station/underground and 6-7mins for Baker Street/underground (Bakerloo line). Lovely pub allsop arms for brekkie if continental is not your thing (located 4mins away).

Having stayed at the Royal National Hotel twice before, we decided to try the City Sleeper next door this time. The location is prime. It is an easy walk to the British Museum and Russell Square station. It is also a very nice, doable walk to Piccadilly Circus, and we even walked to Oxford Street without much effort. The room itself was spacious, came with a fan, and featured a newly renovated bathroom. The only downside is that the curtains could be darker; they let in too much light, which isn't handy during the summer when the sun rises early. Overall, it was a very good experience!

Very Good
WWonderwanderWe have had some hiccups during our stay, ie microwave not working, but the staff has been helpful and wet out of the way to resolve the issues. Nice to have cooking facilities. Good location
GGuest UserStaff were really lovely, the room was very clean and housekeeping changed our sheets and towels after the first night. Bokan was amazing. The gym only had weights up to 10kg so wasn’t of much use.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and the environment was comfortable, highly recommended. Overall, the experience was great, and it's not far from the city center, so it's definitely worth recommending. The front desk service was also very enthusiastic, making for an excellent experience.
GGuest UserAmazing location, amazing service. It was my birthday and the room was decorated beautifully with complimentary drink and chocolate. Could not have asked for more. The only negative was the room was extremely hot which made is very uncomfortable to sleep. On the second night spoke to front desk and they advised to turn all air con/heating off and brought us a fan up so the second night slept like a baby in very comfortable beds. The pool area was beautiful but u fortunately we ran out of time but when we have another stay at the beautiful hotel we will certainly visit it.
GGuest UserThe staff's service attitude was excellent, but the facilities left much to be desired. The bathroom fixtures were quite old, and the shower, in particular, wasn't designed for Asian heights, making it difficult to control the water flow. Washing was a real struggle, and there were several clogs, impacting cleanliness. Overall, it was a very inconvenient experience.
Additionally, the hotel room faced the street, so the constant noise of passing cars was unavoidable. If you're a light sleeper, it would be extremely hard to fall asleep!!
LLiyaniuThe room was incredibly small! I couldn't believe how tiny 10 square meters felt. I was genuinely shocked when I opened the door. It was even difficult to open my luggage. The table was pathetically small, and there wasn't even a chair. Storage space was extremely limited. The bathroom was even tinier, comparable to an airplane lavatory. Overall, my stay was very uncomfortable. The only positives were the comfortable bed and the breakfast, which at least offered some variety. After a difficult two nights, I decisively moved to the Hilton across the street, and the experience was significantly better. What baffles me is that this place was even more expensive than the Hilton. On the whole, dining and getting around were very convenient, with various UCL colleges in the vicinity. There's a Nero Cafe right next door, so if you don't want the hotel breakfast, you can grab something there. Heading south down the street, you'll find quite a few Chinese restaurants, which is very handy.
MM.AshalThe reception team were friendly at check in, and I was given a beautiful tin of truffles and some drinks vouchers (maybe as a diamond member?). This was really a special touch and appreciated.
However the room itself wasn’t great. I’ve stayed in quite a few London hotels so know you don’t get lots of space and for 1 night you don’t need much, but this room was so small it was a struggle to move about.
The air conditioning was on but it was weak. Thankfully the window opened slightly but it remained warm in the room.
Bathroom was dated, quite small and felt cheap.
Minor point but the pillows and duvet didn’t feel like the usual Hilton ones, they seemed thicker…
Overall, it was clean, relatively quiet and had great service which is all that’s really needed, but it felt more of a budget hotel with Hilton price tag.
I do think they are doing everything they can to make stays as good as possible, since they can’t really do anything about the room sizes.
GGuest UserIt is a proper old-style purpose-built hotel, with 12 floors, large lobby and corridors and other relaxation, dining (Chinese restaurant, Irish pub, café) and entertainment areas (tea room), many lifts. The Superior room (an upgrade offered by reception from Stabdard for £10) was spacious and had nice panoramic views towards Albert Hall and BT tower. It was, however, on the train track facing side of the building. The tube may be audible from lower rooms, and such rooms probably have the view obstructed by surrounding tower buildings, but on the 9th floor the train noise was not intrusive, and trains do not run at night. It may also be down to the external soundproofing. The internal soundproofing is not as good, in fact around midnight I could hear a group talk and laugh. I used a higher air conditioning volume for white noise and it was not a massive problem. The bathroom could be revamped (the grout could be revived, silicone reapplied), but there was nothing to detract from the overall enjoyable experience. Good shower pressure and temperature, toiletries included conditioner. Convenient USB port for charging.
SSvetlana….The location is great, walking distance to Oxford street, very close to the metro and Hide park.
We booked a standard double room but we were upgraded and got a renovated room on the 4th floor.
It was very warm and we didn’t use AC.
Wi Fi was good
The bed is a bit small, but for 2 nights ok.
We had coffee and tea bags.
It was clean
The staff was very friendly
The only thing we didn’t like is the lift. It’s very old and it was stuck several times, so I had to take steps
GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is great- just a 5 minute walk from Paddington which in turn is just two stops on the Tube from the west end. You are also less than a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Kensington Park. Service at reception and in the restaurant was excellent. The continental breakfast is really good with a wide choice that includes boiled eggs, cold meats and cheese. The rooms are spotless in terms of cleanliness but be aware that if you wake up just before 9 and want a shower the water may not be hot due to wider use but at other times is hot.
