"The hotel's location is excellent, and the room was very spacious. Although the bathroom was small, it had everything we needed. The breakfast service was particularly warm and friendly. The only downsides were that the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy and the duvet/blanket was a bit thin."

"Short walk into town. Bit of a longer walk to the river. Tram stop right outside, which goes to the train station and airport! Lovely staff, we’re so kind and smiling! Free minibar was a bonus. Amazing rooms, and comfy bed! Lovely spa area! Lovely warm pool, just wish it was open longer! Thanks for a great stay!!"

"Location: It's okay, but a bit far from all the attractions, requiring a 15-20 minute walk or more to each. So, if you're not up for a lot of walking, you might want to reconsider. Facilities: For Italy, the room was quite decent. There was plenty of space to open two 28-inch suitcases flat. The shower, in typical Italian style, was small and narrow. The overall decor was very unique, and the air conditioning was excellent – it could get to a 'freezing' level. Cleanliness: I didn't find any major issues with cleanliness. Service: The breakfast was delicious. The à la carte hot food set, combined with the self-service cold items and bread, was a real highlight, despite the typical Italian saltiness."

"Having visited Florence multiple times, I can confidently say this hotel is fantastic and offers excellent value for money. It's situated in a new, very quiet area, which ensures a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are beautiful. A hotel of this quality in the city center would undoubtedly be much more expensive. For a city like Florence, which isn't vast, there's no real need to stay right in the crowded city center; this location is just a few bus stops away, and taxis are also very convenient. The Tuscan beef burger at the Old Wild West restaurant next to the hotel is absolutely delicious – make sure to look for the '100% Italiano' label 🏷️, it's highly recommended! Plus, there are two large supermarkets and a Virgin gym nearby."

"I really don't understand how foreigners think. I booked this well in advance. At the time, I could only book one night in a standard room plus two nights in a premium room. On the day of check-in, there was a cheaper premium room available, and the booking price was even lower. But the front desk still insisted on me checking into the standard room for one night, then checking out at noon on the second day, leaving my luggage at the front desk, and then checking into the premium room later that afternoon for the remaining two nights. It turned out the premium room wasn't even as good as the standard room; the lighting was a bit strange, and the room size was the same. The hotel breakfast was decent though."

"These apartments are really great, with modern renovations, clean and stylish. We woke up to birds singing outside the window, and only then did the sounds of the city begin to stir. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay: a comfy bed and kitchenware for cooking – we made our most delicious dinners there during the whole trip. We were welcomed like family and given full instructions on nearby cafes and shops. The main attractions are within walking distance. We definitely recommend it! We wish them success and prosperity!"

"Excellent hotel & if we have the luxury of returning to beautiful Florence, we would gladly book here again! Very friendly and accommodating staff with very clean and well-appointed rooms. The breakfast is not only excellent, but a huge bonus and the lounge both inside and outside the breakfast buffet in addition to the beautiful outdoor deck upstairs on the 6th floor with an amazing pool & panoramic view of the city was wonderful to relax and enjoy. The location is perfect and within easy walking distance of the city center, market and Duomo. Our family highly recommends the Glance Hotel!"

"The location is good, found easy. Universe by code, codes are sent to the mail. Central and 10min to the station. This is not a hotel as such, but a large apartment redesigned in 6 rooms. Here and your nuances. There is heating(battery) in the room, the bathroom is a separate room with a window, but without heating, there is an electric heater. It had to be turned on, otherwise the bathroom was cold. The repair was fresh in the lamp style, but the room is small. At the same time a large bed, 4 pillows and fresh lingerie, toiletries, Smart TV is, coffee maker. Of the downsides: 1. didn't work safe; 2. When you use the toilet, the shower noises the electron pump of the sewer quite loud, as a drill, at the beginning you are frightened and I think these sounds are heard and the neighboring numbers."

"We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel La Fortezza and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10–15 minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station. If you prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to reach all the major attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of character. We especially appreciated having a room with a window, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. One of the first things we noticed was the hotel’s pleasant signature fragrance, which created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, but we would especially like to thank Mr. Buli, who was working the night shift. We returned to the hotel late one evening after all the nearby restaurants had closed. When he learned that my son was hungry, he kindly prepared fresh sandwiches and yogurt for us from the hotel kitchen. His kindness and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations and made us feel truly cared for. Another thoughtful service was that the hotel offers complimentary travel adapters for guests, which was very convenient. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would happily stay at Hotel La Fortezza again on our next visit to Florence. "The hotel is close to the station, the street downstairs is lively, the rooms are classic and warm, and the breakfast is very rich, especially the fruits such as peaches are particularly sweet, which is the best I have ever eaten in Italy."
