"It was a real pleasure for us to be guests of this incredible hotel! I put the high rating first and foremost because of the great treatment we received upon check-in. Personally escorted and accommodated by the kind gentleman at the reception, we received all the details for our stay and a willingness for constant support. I am delighted with the service and cleaning of the rooms - every detail was taken care of. The breakfast is delicious, rich enough for every taste. There are also fresh juices for detox. I am in love with the toiletries in the bathroom - such high quality and wonderful scent. I am impressed with the hotel's branding on all the extras for guests - the bathroom slippers, hangers, toilet paper, etc. Everything is tastefully done and meets the highest requirements and criteria. The lobby bar staff is also very friendly. The location was convenient for us, a room with a view of the river and a balcony - a great view, fresh air and pleasant silence. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect balance between high quality of service, location and price. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we are guests of the city. "I love my stay here in the social hub, recommend everyone esp for solo female traveller! Pros - good location next to tram station (very impt) - theres a cafe inside the hotel which is a gd place for breakfast and hotel - thankyou maria for helping me check-in, she was the only staff in the hotel who showed great hospitality and kindness which made my stay confortable - 24/7 gym! But air ventilation has room for improvement - the rooftop area was so big, with good vibes good views and a bar. (Pool was not available during my stay) - room was clean and well furnished"

"I used to stay at a high-end hotel in the city center. The interior was very Italian with antique furnishings, and the concierge and breakfast were wonderful. This time, I was looking for a simple, clean, American-style interior along the Arno River. I decided to go to Florence at the last minute and spent a lot of time arranging flights and transfers. I was looking for hotels based on interior photos from package deals, and saw many reviews saying 'I want to stay here again!' The location also seemed good. So, instead of a flight and hotel package, I decided to book just the hotel. Even though I was traveling alone, there was an available room with twin beds (offering more space), a bathtub, and a view of the sky, so I booked it. I paid the same day and even got a service discount. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was surprised to find it right after crossing Ponte Vecchio! It's a small B&B hotel with six floors, but it's conveniently designed with free spaces on the second and sixth floors. Breakfast is on the sixth floor, where you get a picturesque view of the Duomo, Florence's iconic landmark. Every morning, while enjoying that view, two kind staff members made me cappuccino. I truly found the perfect hotel."

"I would give this hostel a perfect score if it weren't for its location. The living conditions are ideal; the beds are even more comfortable than those in a hotel. The only issue was that the air conditioning was too cold and couldn't be adjusted, making me feel a bit chilly at night. The staff were very helpful, and the lobby was clean and cozy. However, this hostel feels more like a hotel than a traditional hostel because there's no communal kitchen. You can use a card to operate the washing machine and dryer, though. There's a study area, and it seems you can even book yoga classes and other activities. If, like me, you prefer to stay closer to the city center, this might not be the perfect choice, as the nearby bus route 17 is often delayed or unreliable. But if you prioritize a comfortable living experience, I wholeheartedly recommend it."

"I really don't understand how foreigners think. I booked this well in advance. At the time, I could only book one night in a standard room plus two nights in a premium room. On the day of check-in, there was a cheaper premium room available, and the booking price was even lower. But the front desk still insisted on me checking into the standard room for one night, then checking out at noon on the second day, leaving my luggage at the front desk, and then checking into the premium room later that afternoon for the remaining two nights. It turned out the premium room wasn't even as good as the standard room; the lighting was a bit strange, and the room size was the same. The hotel breakfast was decent though."

"Wonderful stay at B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo and would stay here again. We walked from Firenze Santa Maria Novella with a large check in and hand luggage each with no major issues, mostly flat path except a small section of the walk had uneven path but the 500m distance from the station is definitely manageable. First impressions and experience arriving at the hotel were excellent. Cute artsy decor with a lounge area in the lobby and first floor. Reception ladies were so friendly and welcoming and were ready to help us with the door and luggage as soon as they saw us arrive. Hotel is clean with a comfortable bed, great air conditioning system and provides a reasonable amount of amenities for our stay including a mini fridge and heated towel rack as an added bonus. Would have preferred a rain shower in our bathroom but by all means not an issue as the water pressure was still very strong and liked there were doors for the shower so water does not leak onto the floor. Location is fantastic! A block away from the Duomo and you can even see if from your room if you have booked a room with a view, otherwise at breakfast you can see it on the outside terrace. Also, central to a department store, designer stores, local supermarket and abundance of food options nearby. The location also feels safe to be walking around after dinner."

"What a location!! Absolutely brilliant. The location was perfect close to train,bus and amenities. The service was brilliant and the breakfast was fantastic, so much more than what we expected. Everyone was very happy there which added to our experience. The food around the area was perfect and all the sights within easy walking distance. We loved our time here"

"Absolutely stunning! No wonder so many people recommend this place online. I was a bit worried from other photos that the lighting might be dim, but we got a room directly facing the church. Even though the window was small, the view was absolutely incredible. The hotel interior also looks very luxurious, naturally in dark grey tones, but it doesn't feel at all gloomy. Overall, the hotel is quite clean, and most importantly, the breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse. We didn't have much of an appetite that day, otherwise, I think it would have been as good as dining in a restaurant. It was just amazing! The front desk staff were also very professional, offering service with a smile, and there's a complimentary minibar. Awesome!"

"Excellent hotel & if we have the luxury of returning to beautiful Florence, we would gladly book here again! Very friendly and accommodating staff with very clean and well-appointed rooms. The breakfast is not only excellent, but a huge bonus and the lounge both inside and outside the breakfast buffet in addition to the beautiful outdoor deck upstairs on the 6th floor with an amazing pool & panoramic view of the city was wonderful to relax and enjoy. The location is perfect and within easy walking distance of the city center, market and Duomo. Our family highly recommends the Glance Hotel!"
