The room was clean. The large TV with YouTube was great for the kids. The location was convenient, close to Kamakura Station and easy to explore. There were also many good restaurants within walking distance for dinner. I was a little confused about the check-in process, but I was able to contact them quickly and they explained everything. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to JR Ofuna Station, with the Shonan Monorail accessible immediately outside, making it incredibly convenient for trips to Kamakura and Enoshima. The rooms are spacious for a Japanese hotel of its type, the mattress is comfortable, and you can even see the Shonan Monorail from the window. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and you can pick up toiletries in the lobby. The only minor downsides are the limited breakfast selection and average taste, and occasionally you can hear train sounds from rooms closer to the tracks. Overall, it offers great value for money and is an excellent base for exploring Kamakura.

Overall, it was pretty good. Pros: 1. Just a 5-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient. 2. The price is quite reasonable for this area. 3. The staff's service attitude was excellent. Cons: 1. The room was a bit small. 2. Smoking is allowed in the rooms here, so there was a smell of smoke as soon as I entered. 3. Mineral water is not provided in the room. 4. Check-in time is 3:00 PM, which is a bit later compared to other hotels, but you can store your luggage.

Absolutely great experience. Villa is very comfortable. The host provided everything: towels, toiletries, washing liquid - end everything is top quality! Also kitchen is well equipped and there was a supply of tea and coffee, cooking oil, seasoning. Plus there you can find everything for beach holiday - umbrella, backpacks. In a wrod everything you need is forseen and provided, and the everything is high end quality. Plus he sent us a guid on local attractions, food and places of interest. Highly recommended! I'd definitely stay there again.

Highly recommend this Kamakura hotel, the breakfast was delicious! The Prince Hotel's room view is absolutely stunning, directly facing Shichirigahama Beach with Enoshima in the distance. It's practically a Kamakura must-visit all in one spot, and there are many beautiful cafes down the hill. Although it's located on a hill, there's a direct elevator from the bottom of the hill up. I highly recommend taking this 'mountain-climbing' elevator, especially if you have luggage – it's super convenient. It's only a few minutes' walk from Kamakura Koko Mae, the Slam Dunk filming location. The entire area is scenic with the Enoden train. Waking up early to take photos there without crowds is amazing. I also recommend taking the Enoden train for one stop, it's only 200 yen, and you'll have a great time!

This was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward) Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days, and I really enjoyed the comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. I was surprised that the owner spoke Korean so well, and it was great to be able to converse with them. They kindly recommended restaurants near the hotel, and you can even drink and hang out with them at night. It seems they really love Korean music! If I ever come to Kamakura again, I'd love to stay here.

Overall, my stay was fantastic. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with good natural light and ventilation, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep. The service was warm and attentive, and it offers great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

The self-check-in process is truly terrible; everyone complains about it, but they refuse to improve. They could provide clearer instructions and passwords via email. If there's a language barrier, they could establish immediate text communication. The email could also inform guests in advance about communication tools they might need to download, like Facebook. There are many solutions, but they just don't care. It really shames the Japanese reputation for meticulousness and continuous improvement. On the positive side: the location is excellent, and the interior is very clean. On the negative side: the ventilation is extremely poor, and the air quality in the room is bad.

It's really close to the station and there's a convenience store nearby. But the bathroom space is really a bit too small, and there are no shelves to store things, which is not very convenient. In addition, the hair dryer is also broken and cannot blow hot air out😥
