The Qiran·Rustic Rutal Resort Villa (Mutianyu Great Wall Branch) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Qiran·Rustic Rutal Resort Villa (Mutianyu Great Wall Branch) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Beijing. The hotel is conveniently located just 10km from Beizhai Railway Station and 45km from Beijing Capital International Airport. With multiple attractions nearby including Mutianyu Great Wall Helicopter Experience Center, Lihuagou Sceneic Area and Hidden Lodge, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Beijing hotel offers parking on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The customer service lady was quite nice, but I do have some issues with the guesthouse: 1. Check-in time was 2 PM, but when we arrived, the room wasn't ready yet. We had to wait another half an hour for them to finish cleaning. 2. The pillows on the bed were too flat, and the bed itself was too soft, making it uncomfortable. 3. And this is the most important point: there's no need to stay overnight in this Chestnut Village. It's tiny, and even the 'mini waterfall stream' is artificial 😂. You can finish exploring and taking pictures in just an afternoon. Also, food is very expensive here; an ice cream costs 68. Although the restaurant is a bit pricey, the food itself is actually quite good. 4. There are a lot of people with dogs, and they tend to pee all over the restaurant. There's really no point in bringing kids here, as there are practically no facilities for children."

"## A Secluded Beijing Escape Immersed in Oriental Aesthetics – A Two-Day Stay at The PuXuan Hotel and Spa Nestled at the intersection of Wangfujing and Wusi Avenues, The PuXuan Hotel and Spa stands as a 'floating glass box' atop the Guardian Art Center. Designed by German architect Ole Scheeren, its exterior features grey basalt, echoing the textures of old Beijing's hutongs. The transparent glass brick walls above subtly evoke the landscape imagery of the *Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains* painting, shifting with the light and shadows. Without a grand marquee, it speaks to the city with minimalist geometric language, so discreet you might almost miss it, yet so stately it leaves an unforgettable impression. Stepping into the hotel, an elevator ride to the fourth-floor lobby reveals an expansive, breathtaking space. The high ceilings exude grandeur, while natural wood, terrazzo, and stone interweave to create a warm, refined ambiance. A central water garden in the lobby, complemented by swaying bamboo, forms a picturesque scene. Paintings by Qiu Deshu and handcrafted furniture from Hermès' 'Shang Xia' brand are thoughtfully placed throughout. There are no extravagant crystal chandeliers; instead, warm lighting and a pervasive tea aroma create a sophisticated atmosphere that's understated yet meticulously considered. However, the hotel's true enchantment lies in its Sky Garden. Walking into the fifth-floor garden, one is instantly transported from bustling Beijing to a spring day in a Jiangnan water town. Hidden by bamboo and lush greenery, it offers a serene escape from the city's noise. Casually sitting, you can gaze upon the tranquil silhouette of Wanchun Pavilion in Jingshan Park. As light filters through the bamboo and leaves rustle in the breeze, you truly grasp the essence of 'great reclusion within the city.' Though my two-day stay was brief, it was enough to fully immerse myself in this understated and refined celebration of Eastern aesthetics. The PuXuan isn't a hotel that immediately dazzles; it's more like aged Pu-erh tea – the more you experience it, the deeper its flavor. It infuses Chinese aesthetics into every corner, and beneath its restrained luxury lies a profound understanding of Beijing's heritage and contemporary life. If you're seeking a place to truly find tranquility in the heart of the bustling city, The PuXuan is your answer."

Hotel near Xizhimen and Beijing Exhibition Center Area,Beijing
The Guoerzhao Hotel (Beijing Guoerzhao Binguan) is located southeast of the Xizhimen Overpass, near one of Beijing's most bustling financial areas. The hotel is situated directly on the route to several Beijing attractions including the Badaling Great Wall, the Summer Palace and the Ming Tombs. This Beijing hotel provides 251 rooms and 10 conference rooms. The largest meeting room holds up to 400 people. For dining, there is a Chinese restaurant, a Western restaurant and the Nianshun Seafood restaurant, which 750 seats. In addition, the hotel has a business center, an entertainment center and a gift shop.

"Let me start by saying, if I could give this hotel six stars, I absolutely would without hesitation! First off, the location is superb. It's just around the corner from the subway station, and Xizhimen is a major transportation hub, plus Beijing North Railway Station is nearby. Upon arriving in the lobby, staff were there to greet and assist, offering tips on local attractions and important notes, and even helping with luggage. A special shout-out to Tong Meiyi for her warm and thoughtful service. During my stay, something happened: I checked out early in the morning with my child, but after finishing our sightseeing sooner than expected, I regretted checking out so early. We still had several hours until our high-speed train departed. When I returned to pick up our luggage, I asked the front desk if we could rest for a few more hours if my room hadn't been cleaned yet. Xiao Ziyun, who was at the desk, saw how tired I looked and immediately checked the room availability. Understanding my situation, she said the room hadn't been cleaned yet and it was fine. However, when I opened the door, I found the room spotless! Honestly, I was quite touched at that moment. To minimize extra work for the cleaning staff, I barely used the room, only watching TV, and I even avoided using the faucets and toilet. When I left, I met the two cleaning ladies, who were all smiles and understanding, assuring me it was no problem and they'd recheck the room. (The ladies were Zhou Qiaofeng and Li Guiling.) Having stayed in countless hotels, this level of wholehearted service for guests is truly rare. I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Beijing."

"Taking advantage of the fact that summer vacation hadn't fully started, we took a weekend trip to Yanqing. Actually, I've been to Yanqing several times before, usually staying in guesthouses with the whole family. This time, it was just the three of us, so we chose Club Med, and it was well worth the trip. The hotel is excellent, with a huge property and pretty much every sports facility you could want. We even participated in game night, and there were lots of little activities that kept our child very happy. We stayed in a suite, which was spacious, well-equipped, and very quiet. Breakfast was plentiful. What I particularly want to highlight this time is the hotel's service; the experience was fantastic. Our concierge, 'LUCA,' was incredibly thoughtful, attentive, always available, and incredibly responsive to all our requests, leaving us with wonderful memories of this short trip. Highly recommend~"

JJetmir PrengaOne of the best stays I’ve experienced, and I’ve been to places. We arrived very late, around 1–2am, and the lady at reception was patiently waiting for us. She even offered to prepare a hot bath or coffee, which was honestly such a kind and thoughtful gesture. We were exhausted and just needed sleep, so we took a quick shower and went straight to bed but that moment already showed the level of care and professionalism of this place. Now, let’s not even talk about the location itself. Yes, it’s a bit expensive, but waking up with a view of the Great Wall of China… well, everything has its price. And what makes it even better is that it’s not in the busy center of Beijing, so you’re in an area where not many tourists go. You basically get the Wall almost to yourself, which is just incredible. The hotel and the rooms are very special, and they match exactly what you see in the photos—which, as we all know, isn’t always the case. And if you’re hungry? There are a few restaurants down in the village, plus a Thai restaurant right next door—you literally step out of the porch and you’re there. So yeah, I will definitely come back.

GGuest UserWe stayed for one night in Wtown Resort. We bought a package which included entrance ticket and some highlights. Location: Convinent as one of shuttle bus stop is right in front of resort and it is also walking distance to performance area. Facilities: Room is super spacious and clean. Building is slightly old but still well maintained. I love the lobby as it played traditional music with cozy area. Staff is friendly and provide Wechat personalize guidance to guest who booked under trip.com. I think it is useful as it able to provide a quick chat and clarification e.g. performance timing and location. Overall, it is good experience.

MMeiyincidufuHighly, highly recommended!!! Our group of four climbed Dongling Mountain this morning, and the scenery was so beautiful we didn't want to go back to Beijing. On a whim, we wanted to find a hot spring hotel nearby where we could relax and soak, and we found this one. The scenery was absolutely stunning!!! The entire village has excellent red-themed architecture and a very positive atmosphere. Even the small village museum's 3D video was quite good, creating a great ambiance, and in the morning, you could see the iconic red star right outside your window!! And the best part? The hot spring was incredibly relaxing! Enjoying a barbecue in the misty mountains, listening to the rain while soaking in the hot spring… friends, it was indescribably comfortable!! The owner and the manager were very kind, providing us with free breakfast. After breakfast, we immediately bought two jars of the same fermented bean curd online—it was so delicious, hahaha! In short, a perfect recommendation, we will definitely go again!!!

AAnonymous UserStayed for 2 nights in Oct 2024, planned for 1 night to visit around the town itself and another night for the Simatai Great Wall. 1. Location - Inn is located within Gubei Watertown and it is necessary to go through the watertown to visit the Simatai Great Wall. By booking an accommodation within the town gives you discounted entrance price into the town and since we planned to visit the great wall and explore the town itself we have decided to stay for 2 nights (also partly the cost and time to travel there from Beijing). Inn is located near the main square where some performances are held and near a shuttle service stop (free shuttle services within town if you’re staying in an accommodation within town. Overall a good location within town. 2. Room - Booked a family room for 4 (2 single beds in each level). Room is mostly made of wood hence its not really a modern feel and its not really sound-proof which the staff has notified in advance. Room is spacious and bathroom is big. Stairs that goes up to the 2nd level is stable but can be a little steep for seniors. Overall the room is decent. It comes with tomatoes, peanuts and tea as welcome gift. 3. Luggage - There’s a luggage service whereby you can arrange for your luggage to be transported to your hotel from entrance, and from hotel back to entrance. This is definitely needed as the ground in the watertown is not a smooth surface and can be hard to carry your luggages around. 4. Services & breakfast - Staff’s services is really good and efficient! Breakfast is simple but has good variety. There’s the buffet portion which consists of small dishes for porridge, bread, bun, drinks etc. And there’s an alacarte portion where you need to order in advance the night before such as bacon, egg, sausages, noodles etc. i think its a good initiative to avoid wastage. Overall a very good stay and would recommend if you are visiting Gubei Watertown and would like to stay in a more traditional feel.

YYouyougongzhudarenOur family weekend stay at the Forest Cabin exceeded our expectations! The hotel is nestled in the mountains at the foot of the Great Wall, offering a serene environment. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were comprehensive. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making it perfect for a family getaway. Highly recommended! Our butler, Xiao Song, was also excellent; knowing we had elderly family members, he tidied up the room in advance and thoughtfully brought us zongzi (rice dumplings).

GGuest UserWe had such a fantastic time bringing our child to the Le Du Port Marriott this trip! My child was participating in a robotics competition, and after adding the hotel's butler, Skyller, on WeChat, they pre-checked us in so my child could rest during lunchtime. We learned it was also my child's birthday that day, and they even prepared balloons and a small cake, which made my child incredibly happy. Any requests were promptly addressed. A huge thumbs up to Skyller! 👍 The room was spacious and clean, and the children's amenities were thoughtfully prepared; the small slippers and toothbrush made my child feel really involved. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and there was even a dedicated children's serving area, making mealtime enjoyable for my little one and stress-free for us. The pool temperature was just right for splashing around and enjoying the hot springs with the kids, plus there's a children's play area. It was a truly special birthday, and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this to families looking for a 'one-stop' destination for kids around Beijing.

GGuest UserHygiene: My recent visit to Lanting Hot Spring Hotel coincided with their deep cleaning, and seeing their meticulous work really put guests at ease. Environment: The hotel's lush environment is incredibly pleasant. Service: The staff helped with luggage and guided me on purchasing Mutianyu Great Wall tickets, explaining everything in detail. It truly showed me what excellent service is all about. Their restaurant also serves exceptionally delicious food, highly recommended! Afternoon Tea: High quality.
