"This stay truly understands families with children! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center. Shopping and dining are right at your doorstep, so there's no need to waste time traveling. The room has a full cartoon theme, with adorable cartoon stickers on the walls and even animal-shaped throw pillows. My child was so excited they started jumping as soon as we entered the room, no need to even try to entertain them. The most pleasant surprise was the window view. Opening the window, you can see the bustling city center streetscape. During the day, you watch the traffic flow, and at night, the city lights sparkle. Every photo taken is beautiful. Plus, we were given fresh welcome fruits upon check-in, along with authentic Qinghai yogurt – sour, sweet, and refreshing. The attention to detail is just incredible. Staying here with kids is totally worth it!"

"I came from Dongying and was familiar with the local Blue Sea environment. It's hard to describe what I found when I came to Xining Blue Sea. It used to be such a good hotel, but for some reasons it's incomparable to before. The hotel staff still provides services of a five-star hotel, but the hotel is probably understaffed and the facilities are really outdated. There is not even hot water all day long, and at night the hot water is a bit cold, with low water pressure, which is really bad in the winter."

"The hotel is clean and tidy, the service is warm and thoughtful, the transportation is convenient, and it is also close to Xining Station. There are Xinqian Night Market and Zhonghui Wanda Plaza near the hotel, which are very convenient for eating and shopping. It is also close to the largest Cordyceps sinensis trading market in Asia."

"The location is excellent! It's right next to the train station. Given that Xining's traffic was congested and many roads were under construction during the summer, staying by the station was a very practical and smart choice. The newly renovated hotel boasts brand new facilities. Our family room was spacious and thoughtfully laid out. The shower and bedding were top-notch, and the bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the dining environment was very comfortable! We stayed for two nights, and my child even said they didn't want to leave!"

"I will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is."

"I chose Park Plaza as it was convenient to both the train station and airport. The price was also excellent value for money. My train from Lhasa arrived at 6.30am and I caught a taxi the short distance to Park Plaza without issue. I checked in around 7am and was shown my room. It was beautiful, very spacious with a large window, and it also had a freestanding bath. Unfortunately I could smell cigarette smoke, which is not uncommon in Chinese hotels. I asked for a different room and was immediately shown one . This room was identical but the bed covers were a children's design and there were some toys and teepee in one corner . I simply folded the bright yellow covers down and had a lovely tasteful decor again. The bed was extremely comfy and the room was very quiet. The buffet was beyond excellent and the head chef and his small team were very friendly and attentive. Clearly they were very proud of their fabulous buffet and presentation....as they should be. It was my best in China.. I found a lovely walking trail behind the hotel beside the river, 5 mins away. The area in general was nice to wander around, very different from my stay in the centre of city when on my way to Tibet. I will most definitely choose Park Plaza when I return to Xining."

"Excellent location which nearby to Xining Railway Station if you plan to take train to Tibet. The reception is very polite especially the staff 皓东哥managed to help us for last minutes request. The cleanliness & breakfast are excellent, modern design, amenities is great and convenient location."

"When planning our trip to Xining, I was a bit concerned about adjusting to the altitude, so I paid special attention to hotel facilities. This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The in-room oxygen concentrator and humidifier was incredibly practical; my elderly family members found it very helpful, experiencing no shortness of breath and sleeping wonderfully. Its proximity to the bus stop also made getting to Ta'er Monastery very convenient. We'd definitely stay here again!"

"A really good store, whether in terms of service, health, or facilities, it is full marks, this price, the price is very high! Near Wuyue Plaza, the store is at an intersection, you can see the signboard, the front desk is on the first floor, and the elevator goes upstairs directly after the check-in! There is a restaurant on the first floor, as well as a laundry room, quite complete! The two young ladies at the front desk have very good service, speak softly and softly, and are skilled in business! There is a small refrigerator and mineral water is delivered for free! Health is also very good, the floor room attendant is very thoughtful! When I checked out, I also sent a small gift, which was very warm! In short, it is a store that exceeds expectations. If you live nearby, it is indeed the first choice! recommend"

"The room was quite spacious and well-equipped. It felt like a stylishly renovated studio apartment converted into a hotel, with floor-to-ceiling windows on almost three sides and even a bar counter with high stools! That was an unexpected bonus. Free parking was available, complimentary snacks were provided, and the nightstands even had wireless charging. Located on the 29th floor of the Wanda Plaza building, the view was quite good. However, being in the Wanda Plaza building and sharing elevators with many other hotels meant there were a lot of guests, making the elevator experience quite frustrating. Additionally, the towels, bath towels, and bathrobes were casually placed on the vanity and had hairs on them. Luckily, we had brought our own disposable toiletries. For some reason, the room had a strong food smell, making it feel like we were staying in a restaurant. It was a pity, considering the otherwise excellent facilities and decor. Since it was only for one night, we just put up with it. Perhaps those who enjoy strong food aromas wouldn't mind this particular aspect. All in all, the hotel was still pretty good."
