"Love their home cooked dishes! We rather go back to hotel for meal after Gubei water town. The couple bosses were so sweet to let us indicate spiciness and accommodate our minor diet restriction. They dun have noodles but they used alternative ingredients to make some gourd dish that tasted close to noodles.
The rooms were big, in SG standard, one bed was queen size and the other was super single. Their bathroom was newly renovated and love their heater installed at shower cubicle, making it more comfortable to shower in cold weather.
The couple bosses provided great tips on local transport to help us get to/fro Jinshanling for sunset and sunrise opportunities. They are situated around 5min drive from Jinshanling ticketing.
Love the room doorstep views overlooking the geese and house dog. We will choose this hotel next time!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and they were quite good. After checking in and resting up, we hiked the Great Wall after 3 PM. We didn't take the cable car at all. It's about a 20-minute walk from the hotel to Zhuanduokou, and we took our time enjoying the scenery. The path down from Houchuankou has stairs. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Jinshanling!"

"This place was the best after our long walk along the Great Wall. We started in Gubekiou and walked the wall until Jinshanling. The farmhouse was only about a 20 min walk from the entrance of the Great Wall which we were happy about. As soon as we walked up the owner ran up and welcomed us and showed us to our rooms. Each of our rooms had two small beds and a bathroom w a shower. Great value for your money. The family running it fed us delicious food for breakfast and dinner, were so welcoming and even helped us plan our next day hike. Would stay here again!"

"Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

"This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! The location is incredibly convenient, the surrounding area is quiet, and getting around and finding places to eat is a breeze. The room was clean and tidy, decorated warmly and stylishly, with comfortable bedding and complete toiletries—the attention to detail was remarkable. The host was warm and attentive, responding promptly and even offering helpful recommendations for travel tips and local restaurants, making me feel right at home. The common areas were clean and comfortable, perfect for taking photos. "The location of the homestay is very good. One of the reasons for choosing this homestay is that you can see the large lawn in the bedroom on the second floor and there is a garden on the first floor. The second is the decoration style of hard and soft decoration. I like it very much, it is very warm and relaxing. Every cabinet, mural, lamp, and chair inside are very artistic. It is also very convenient to forage. Go to the first cafeteria to the right from the unit door, and to the left is the big lawn and small shops. "On April 30, we just randomly found a restaurant to stay at night, but it was unexpected. The boss and his wife were very nice. They waited for us at around 9 o'clock in the evening and helped us prepare dinner. The dishes cooked by the boss were also very delicious and especially suitable for our appetite. The room was newly renovated and carefully decorated. It was clean, hygienic and refreshing! I will choose this restaurant next time I go to Jinshanling Great Wall. There is a large parking lot at the door, which is convenient for parking."

GGuest UserVery suitable for parents and children and pets on vacation, we set a loft homestay, two big beds and a tatami can sleep. The air is very good, you can climb the mountain in the resort and see the Wild Great Wall. There are places for special children's activities, there are large lawns, and there are places for physical exercise. There are two large canteens for dinner, the dishes are very rich, and three meals can be solved. If you have any questions, you can find customer service and the answer is very fast. Overall it is very suitable for family travel.

GGuest UserI lived in a homestay. After booking the room, add the host WeChat and contact. Introduce it to the person in the reception center of the hotel. The contact person in this reception center is a bit awkward. I will call my brother for a while, and then call my sister for a while. Then I will say how you will check in tomorrow. I said that I will check in this afternoon! Really confused! The next morning I was turning outside, and I sent me a message and checked out before 11 o'clock. As soon as I checked the order, it said that I checked out at 12 o'clock, and asked him what happened? Answer: OK. You are really good enough! I can't say that this person's service attitude is not good, can say that he is a confused, work is not concerned people!
