"We absolutely loved the Yangshuo Ancient Garden Hotel. Sofia at reception spoke perfect English and was incredibly helpful with her advice on where to visit. The hotel is about 15 mins from the centre of town (West St) - just an AUD$3.50 DiDi ride (loads of DiDi cars everywhere). The hotel and its grounds are in the rural countryside, sitting amidst the beautiful karst hills. The room itself was super clean and beautifully appointed. This is an exceptional 4 star hotel. You don’t need 5 stars when you have such a wonderful hotel and it’s setting. Don’t be alarmed by the rustic entry from the street. Once you are through the front gates, you will not be disappointed. We used the free bicycles from the hotel to ride along the river to the Dragon Bridge. The views of the karst hills next to the river and the rice fields were exceptional. This was one of the experiences that we will treasure. It was absolutely worthwhile staying in this fabulous in Yangshuo for a night after the river cruise from Guilin (we have been to many places in the world and the scenery along the river was the absolute best that we have ever seen - take a 4 star boat and you will also have memories to last a lifetime). The room was extremely clean and large - we had a family room with a massive king bed and a queen bed). Bathroom was really nice. Free drinks in the room’s minbar. Good breakfast was included, along with afternoon tea. There’s a good sized pool. Catch a DiDi for about RMB160 back to Guilin. Save yourself the trouble of looking for another hotel in Yangshuo. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience."

"This tea-themed hotel I stayed at was a real surprise! From the very beginning, I felt incredibly caring—the owner even provided pick-up and drop-off, saving me a lot of trouble finding my way around. The hotel's ambiance far exceeded my expectations, far superior to the city-friendly chain hotels I've stayed in before. The elegant atmosphere of tea culture permeated every corner, making it incredibly comfortable. Even more unexpected, the hotel even had a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing on my downtime. The breakfast was also highly recommended; it was quite substantial and featured a variety of local snacks that were incredibly delicious. Plus, you can buy tickets directly at the hotel, which was quite affordable and very convenient. My only regret was that I was so caught up in the experience that I forgot to take photos to document it, so I could share them with everyone. Overall, I highly recommend it! Also, if you're planning a bamboo raft ride from Jinlong Bridge, definitely book here, as the Jiuxian Pier is right next to it, allowing you to catch your ride at 7:30 AM and return for breakfast."

"We had an amazing stay at dreamland inn! Everything was absolutely perfect. The view from our room was jaw droppingly beautiful, even better than the pictures! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was so kind and gave us great recommendations and helpful Breakfast was yummy. It’s a fantastic value and absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"The location is absolutely superb, right within the scenic area. The scenery is picturesque, with stunning views from every window. Our family was so content that we didn't even want to leave the hotel, as we could soak in all the beautiful outdoor scenery right from our room. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting with our luggage upon arrival and departure. Their thoughtfulness really stood out. A huge shout-out to everyone – from the welcoming staff to the front desk, and even the lovely lady serving breakfast; their service was truly exceptional, a refreshing change from what you sometimes find at smaller guesthouses. The hotel is surrounded by tourist attractions, with the bamboo raft pier just a stone's throw away. It was a pity we couldn't get tickets; otherwise, we would have happily extended our stay for another day. The bridge right in front of the hotel also offers breathtaking views and is incredibly photogenic. The staff at the bike rental shop opposite the hotel's parking area were also very pleasant. However, cycling back at night, a stretch of the road felt quite scary as it was extremely dark. And finally, the breakfast noodles were wonderfully fresh and flavorful. They tasted delicious both with and without chili – a definite must-try!"

"We absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the food at the hotel was amazing. This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality."

"Experienced exceptional service and hospitality. On top of that the room is huge and spacious and has the best views. It was just nice to spend time relaxing in the room. The location is a little out of the way but they provide free shuttle service to the main bustling area which made it convenient. Personally I like it away from all the hustle bustle. Wish the pools are heated so that we can enjoy a dip. The exterior and photo places have quite abit of maintenance work required. But overall is worthwhile to stay here"

"The hotel is clean and the location is great for sightseeing. I stayed for three days and rented the hotel's electric scooter each day to get around, which was very convenient. There's also a morning market at the hotel's intersection where local farmers sell their produce, which is interesting to check out if you have time."

"Highlight 1: The boss knows Yangshuo very well. He almost knows everything about food, drink, entertainment, the history of scenic spots, etc., and can answer some questions for customers. Highlight 2: Buy some tickets from the boss, which is dozens of dollars cheaper than buying on the official website. For example, Impression of Liu Sanjie Highlight three: There is a balcony in the room with a good view. The room is quite large and spacious. Highlight 4: The room has large floor-to-ceiling glass, and you can see the lovely hills, which makes you feel good. Disadvantage 1: There is water on the floor in the bathroom area, making it inconvenient to use. Disadvantages 2: The room facilities are average. I personally feel that the storage area for storing things is not large enough and the bedding is average. Disadvantage 3: Bathroom cleanliness is average"

"When modern elements meet a homestay, it creates a unique spark – that new homestay back in May. The fresh air, great environment, and proximity to major attractions made our trip enjoyable, our stay comfortable, and our meals worry-free. The owner is incredibly sincere and goes above and beyond to help, anticipating our needs, like arranging taxis and planning our itinerary. Being able to watch the sunrise from bed and lazily sunbathe while enjoying the air conditioning in the room was incredibly pleasant. Thumbs up!"

"The hotel staff is very polite and helpful, they also speak good English. As the hotel is about a kilometer out of town, they offer a free shuttle service. There are also a couple of bicycles that are free to use and in ok condition. We rented a scooter from the hotel for a day, which is more expensive than renting one by the road but it's super convenient and in very good condition, also comes with a charger. The pool is clean and served us well in very hot weather conditions. We only had breakfast once, which was fine but a little expensive for what it was. It's a western style breakfast though, for everyone who misses eggs and bacon, go for it. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!"
