"The hotel has parking available, and the room was quite spacious. The owner was thoughtful enough to upgrade our room and even turned on the air conditioning before we arrived. They also recommended a hiking route up the mountain and a restaurant that offered great value for money, delicious food, and that 'wok hei' flavor. I'd definitely choose this place again when I visit Mount Sanqing next time."

"After spending a night on Sanqingshan, I made my way down the mountain and checked into the resort again. Whilst my room was being cleaned, I opted to wait by the area by the lobby and it was shut. I asked a young female waitress to let me in so I can sit on a comfortable sofa whilst waiting for my room and she let me through when she realised that I was so knackered after coming down from the mountain and there was no where else to sit in the lobby. She fastened the rope behind me so no-one else could get through and left me there to rest. 10, 15 or maybe 20 minutes went by and approached the reception again and this time was given my room key and gestured where to go. I was a little annoyed for not being told that my room was ready. It was in a different wing of the resort to my previous room. This resort is huge. The room was so spacious and beautiful with a double bed. I then went downstairs to the area by the lobby to order an early lunch but was told by the young female waitress that it was closed until 12:30. I asked if I could order a 3 course meal from the menu and they can bring it up to my room. They said it was fine and I also managed to speak to the chef to see what was available. I was forewarned that it might take a while to cook. I placed my order anyway and went back to my room. The wait was worth it and all the courses were so delicious. Despite the feeling of being disorganised, most staff in this resort are really quite helpful."

"Room and service was excellent. My only complaint was the washing machine doesn't spin clothes fast enough so I had to use a hair dryer the night before and morning after. Staff were excellent. On my last day a lady helped carry my small bags to the bus station and showed me which bus to take back to Shangrao."

"This is supposedly the best hotel in Sanqingshan, and since there was a discount for staying two consecutive nights, I decided to book it. The location is about 1.1 km from the Jinsha cable car, which is convenient whether you walk or take a taxi. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the Jinsha cable car in the morning. It's also very convenient to get to the Gangshou cable car, about a 10-minute taxi ride costing around 10-something yuan. I'd recommend the Gangshou cable car more as there's no queue. In the evenings, the hotel offers a light show and performances, and there are many options in the children's play area, including a fun pedal train. The only downsides are that it's a bit old and a little damp. The pancakes at the hotel breakfast were delicious, both the large and small ones, especially the preserved vegetable pancakes. I shamelessly packed a few as snacks for my hike up Sanqingshan – they were nice and savory – and filled a bottle with orange juice. That's how I completed the grand loop trail."

"A rare gem of a small hotel on our trip. We were passing by Mount Sanqing and booked the Cloud Hotel specifically because of the heavy rain and fog. We spent an afternoon in the room, watching the clouds swirl and a stream cascading down the cliff. It truly lived up to its name, 'Cloud Hotel'. The light luxury style with smart home features throughout felt like incredible value for money. When we left, I even 'borrowed' a book I'd been wanting to read but hadn't had a chance to look at. Happy days! 😊"

"Not far from the Sanqingshan Jinsha cable car entrance, with free parking available in the square out front. The decor has a classic feel but isn't outdated at all, with no strange smells and well-maintained facilities. The hotel lobby even boasts the world's largest ceramic vase!"

"I booked a standard room, and the front desk staff kindly upgraded me to a room with a view upon check-in. The room was at the very end, near the outdoor staircase. I could see the sunrise from inside the room, and the view was even better from the outdoor stairs. The room was generally clean, though the lamp shade seemed a bit moldy, possibly due to the high humidity on the mountain. There was an electric blanket on the bed, which the hotel had already turned on, so the bedding was very dry and not damp at all – a really thoughtful touch. Our room didn't have air conditioning, but with the window open and the fan on, it was more than enough, even a bit chilly. The hotel provided disposable toiletries, including disposable bath towels, so we didn't have to carry our own up the mountain. We had dinner at the hotel, and the stir-fried pork with chili, stir-fried beef, and hand-shredded cabbage were all delicious."

"I went hiking in Sanqing Mountain with friends during summer vacation and booked Qiyun Starry Sky Campsite on short notice. I initially thought it was just a last-minute place to stay, but it completely exceeded my expectations! Now, a few days later, thinking back on this amazing campsite, I've decided to write a heartfelt review 🙆🏻♀️🥰 because the overall experience was absolutely fantastic. First, their starry sky glass room offers an incredible view. It was very clean, and all the amenities were new, probably because it's only been open for a few months. You can directly face the continuous mountain peaks. During the day, you can watch the clouds drift among the mountains; in the evening, you can quietly watch the sunset paint the mountains red; and at night, you can look up and see a dazzling starry sky. Luckily, I saw all of these! The staff specially reserved a room with a mountain view for me 🥹. The rooms were all spotless and fully equipped. Our starry sky room didn't have a private bathroom, but they have a separate public bathroom, though the showers are individual, and hot water is available 24 hours a day. The staff were exceptionally attentive, responding promptly to any needs and even thoughtfully providing information on the best times to watch the sea of ​​clouds and sunrise. We also had dinner at another guesthouse downstairs that evening, just a two or three-minute walk away. The food was pretty good, making up for the disappointment of not having food at the campsite, haha ​​🫰🏻 So if you're planning to go hiking in Sanqingshan, you should check out this place, because it's located on the mountain, near Yixiantian (a narrow gorge), and very close to attractions like Yutai Shenlong Xisong (a scenic spot), so you don't have to get up early to queue for the cable car. Highly recommended!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Stay Near Sanqingshan I had an excellent stay at this homestay. The room was spotless, all the appliances worked perfectly, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the cable car to the Sanqingshan Scenic Area. The owner was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help with everything I needed. From arranging tickets to the scenic area to securing transportation back to Shangrao, I felt completely taken care of throughout my stay. Food is never a worry here. There’s a restaurant right downstairs, and the husband is a fantastic cook. In the morning, breakfast is served right in front of the homestay, making it easy to fuel up before heading out for a day of hiking. Overall, this place offers comfort, convenience, and genuinely warm hospitality. I’d happily stay here again."
