"An amazing hotel! Its location is ideal for the island, and its architecture is reminiscent of Italian villas. The breakfasts were diverse, and the service was superb. I was absolutely delighted to stay with you for 4 nights; it's truly the best hotel on the island! The pricing was very fair, and we had a Deluxe room on the third floor. Many other hotels on the island significantly overcharge, with bungalows and rooms that often don't justify their price tag. Of our entire 14-night trip to Thailand, our fondest memories are from our stay at your hotel. Thank you so much!"

"The only downside was the poor soundproofing. (For the last 3 days, Indians checked into several rooms on our floor – they were quite noisy.)
Everything else was great. The location was perfect for us; it was 200 baht from the airport and 200 baht from the hotel to Ao Nang (using the BOLT app).

"Lovely resort in Aonang with friendly service staff. Room and balcony are very spacious. Clean with all necessary amenities including drinking water, coffee and tea sachets. Huge and comfortable king size bed. Large pool area on ground level plus another rooftop pool. Breakfast is extensive with Thai, Western and Indian food. I love the Thai breakfast! You can walk easily to Aonang Beach for beautiful sunsets. Lots of shops and eating places outside the hotel. We had a good stay in Panan Krabi Resort."

"We really enjoyed our 4 day stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean. Restaurant had good breakfast and lunch options.
We had a Mountain View room (lovely view) which was in fact a connecting room (adjoining locked door) which was a little awkward as you can hear your neighbours very clearly, maybe something to note on your booking if this is something you wouldn’t like.
The pool area was very well maintained, pool staff are happy to remove towels if people have reserved sunbeds with no intention of returning soon. Making it fair for everyone. The only downside for us was that the pool sunbeds are limited in our opinion and pool is relatively small (which also connects to the swim up rooms) again, if you are considering booking a swim up room, this may mean you don’t have a protected area as it adjoins to the public pool.
We were out and about on trips and beach days so the pool lounger availability didn’t bother us.
Overall we are happy and would return if we visited the area again!"

"We chose this hotel mainly because of the sea view — and it became the highlight of our stay. From the 4th floor, the view of the ocean and sunset is absolutely beautiful. In the evening, it’s very pleasant to sit on the balcony with a cocktail and watch the sun go down. The balcony is not very big, but it’s perfect for a quiet moment for two.
The room was clean and well maintained, with good housekeeping and room service. The staff are friendly and helpful.
However, there were a few downsides.
Breakfast is officially served until 10:30, but when we came between 9:40 and 10:00, many items were already gone and not refilled. The food is tasty, but the variety is quite limited.
We also booked a sea-view room like in the photos, but were given a room opposite the building. The balcony had a partial road view and only a partial sea view — not the full “postcard” view we expected.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere is nice, the location is good, and the sunsets are truly amazing.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, but advise confirming the room view in advance and coming early for breakfast 😉
If anyone had a front-facing sea view room — was it worth the extra cost?"

"Comfortable bungalow with an authentic design and a great view (the name is well-deserved!). The staff is friendly. The sea right at the hotel is perfect for enjoying the view, but not so much for swimming. However, it's not a problem to walk 10 minutes to the most popular and azure coast of Railay. One downside is that there's no soundproofing in the lovely bungalows, and longtail boats start running from early morning until evening (earplugs are provided in the room though!)."

"Stayed at Happy Hotel in Krabi and overall had a really good experience. The location is convenient and not too far from Ao Nang Beach. You can easily get there by Grab. Breakfast is included and served every morning. The options are pretty much the same each day, but the food is good and does the job. Staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. They also offer tour bookings, but I found them quite expensive, so it’s better to book tours in advance elsewhere. They usually give a small goodie/foodie bag after check-out, but I didn’t get one — not sure why, maybe because I was traveling solo.
Big plus: they provide lots of bottled water throughout the stay, so I didn’t have to buy any outside. Overall, it’s a good hotel and I’d stay here again."

GGuest UserI love this place, and I really want to return. I probably will because the people at the resort and helpful and kind. The room, however, was really dirty this time. The couch was covered with what looked like oil stains. We wouldn’t sit on it and requested new couch pillows because they were stained too. I thought they would clean the couch but that never happened. This is my second time here because I love how out of the way it is. The view is wonderful and the private pool is special. The shower was clean but the shower head and hand held shower wand needed some serious cleaning. I almost went to the hardware store myself to get replacements. It would not be much money to fix these things. We also only got some of our towels and I had to call down for more after the room was cleaned. Attention to detail for these kinds of things is really important. Again, I will likely come back, but I hope they can get provide a cleaner room next time.

Room Upgrade & Design: I was upgraded to a newly renovated room, and it was stunning! The design is very beautiful, featuring a minimalist style with warm wooden tones. I was very impressed with the room itself. The only minor drawback for guests seeking absolute quiet is the soundproofing of the front door, which is a little thin. You can still hear some noise from people walking past in the hallway.
Exceptional Staff: The service from the staff was outstanding. Hardy, Kik, and Cream were all wonderful, providing excellent and very friendly service. A special mention also goes to Lusho at the breakfast restaurant. He took excellent care of me, always ready to recommend dishes and answer any questions we had about the food—just ask him anything you need!
Location: The location is superb! It's just a short 7-minute walk to Ao Nang beach and very close to the night market, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven.
Facilities:
• Spa: The hotel spa is fantastic! I had the aroma massage for 850 THB, and it was excellent—both muscle and mind felt completely relaxed. The calming natural sounds, especially with the rain falling during my session, made it incredibly soothing.
• Fitness & Pool: The fitness center is well-equipped, and the swimming pool is lovely.
Overall: This is the perfect place for a relaxing, no-stress vacation. The food is good, the location is excellent (close to the beach and nearby restaurants), and the facilities are comprehensive. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!

GGuest UserThe place is very beautiful, at the foot of the mountains. Very quiet and with a very friendly staff. They have a pick-up that takes you to and from the beach for free, although you can take a walk through the market and the shops (30 minutes slowly). The cabins are spacious, cozy and very well acclimatized. I would repeat without hesitation.

The cons (unfortunately more than the pro's)
We arrived late because of the flight delay twice, and our luggage did not arrive with us as well. So we are family of 5 who arrived in a foreign country with no other clothes apart from what we were wearing. There were a miscommunication about the booking, and the hotel receptionist simply said it was against our policy since we booked the room for 2 person only, without any emphathy or sympathy, till I needed to say, the extra person were only kids. Then only the manager got out and offer us solution.
Again our luggage arrived late on our second day there, every time we asked about our luggage, the receptionist simply say, no your luggage had not arrived, then she looked away from me, without offering any help!
The cleanliness is average, which is not standard to a 4 star hotel. They did not provide plastic bags for the dustbins. We have to pick up the used towels and give it to the cleaner because she will not collect them unless we told them to do so.
The hotel room, swimming pool and reception were far away from each other and warrants buggy ride. For a family with small kids, this may not be suitable.
Overall this is not a memorable experience, the hospitality (apart from the very nice buggy riders) really requires improvement.

No alcohol is served on the property but you can bring your own. Beautiful places to walk. Can also kayak in the lagoon. Many daily activities (some free). Also a free ride to Railay beach if you want. We loved our stay here. Check out is just a bit too early, 11am.

EExpat EDventuresA porter met us at the port and kindly carried our bags to the hotel, which was a nice and welcoming start to our stay. The rooms were as described; however, the hotel itself feels quite dated and is in need of general maintenance and updating. There was a noticeable mold smell in the room initially, though this disappeared once the air conditioning was turned on.
Breakfast was enjoyable, with good coffee and made-to-order eggs. The private beach was a highlight—quiet, calm, and never crowded. The pool water itself was clean, but unfortunately the surrounding area was littered with cigarette butts. While we were relaxing at the pool, another family began smoking. We informed the front desk, but no action was taken, which was disappointing, especially as there were visible no-smoking signs.
The view from the fourth floor is truly spectacular. We did have one uncomfortable moment when housekeeping entered our room from the deck around 9 a.m. while we were packing. We greeted her immediately; she apologised and left. There was a Koi pond in the main lobby was sad as the fish in the side pond had insufficient water to swim upright.
This hotel could be amazing. Its peaceful location on an otherwise busy island, along with the dramatic cliffside setting and pool deck, gives it enormous potential. Unfortunately, it feels like the property has passed its peak, leaving a sense of missed opportunity rather than what it could still become.

The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a great halal restaurant right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. Overall, an excellent stay and great value for money. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ i really recommended to everyone to stay here .

GGuest UserWe stayed in a room with pool access, which helped smooth over some of the shortcomings. The room itself was spacious, with a daybed in addition to the main bed. The balcony furniture was very comfortable. Housekeeping came daily. The staff were courteous. The grounds are small but very lush and green. Everything you need is nearby. The room included a standard set of amenities, and tea/coffee/water were replenished daily.
The main drawback was the mattress – it was terrible, impossible to get a good night's sleep on. The second issue was the complete lack of shelves in the shower. Both the room and the hotel, in general, felt a bit run-down. Breakfast was meager, with queues for omelets/fried eggs. There were only two types of fruit. The hotel owner is very helpful and friendly. She even upgraded our room without extra cost .
She even organised someone to pick us up and carry our bags from the pear and from hotel to pear at check-in and check out . She even keeps our bags in a place near to pear for us to pick up in the afternoon for our ferry trip.
Staff is very friendly too.
We really enjoyed our two days stay and definitely recommend this hotel stay
