"The hotel location is quite good as it was just a few minutes to the bus/train station. The breakfast is very basic, though. No amenities such as kettle, cups or phone to call the reception.in the room. The check-in time was long, as there was only 1 person present and the queue was quite long."

"I booked a room on Trip.com and requested a 'fireworks view' in the comments, if possible. I received the booking confirmation → OK. To ensure I got the right room, I went to the hotel's website to chat and confirm the view. I had to pay an additional €34 to get this view. WHY? The requested room was in the same category and was already more expensive that day (Dec 31). At that point, I really felt like I was dealing with a low-cost airline. I'm the sucker! Upon arriving at the hotel, we received the key and went to our room… on the 3rd floor… with absolutely no fireworks view. We went back down to the reception, and our room was changed to 1205. Upon entering the room, it was very cold, and we were genuinely surprised by the noise coming from the boulevard → a nasty surprise, we'll need earplugs. After dinner, we returned to the room at 11:30 PM and heard music coming from outside?? We realized there must be a party somewhere. We didn't sleep until 7 AM when the music finally stopped. What a nightmare. Once we left, we realized there was indeed a nightclub right next door, and we were hearing their music. I spent €400, had a VERY bad experience that I will share with my friends, and will probably never return — which is a shame, because the last time we came, we had a good experience. I hope this is helpful. Positive points: the cocktails and breakfast are very good, and the rooms are small but comfortable."

"Overall, it was pretty good, and the room was very clean. However, it's quite a distance from both the city center and the station, so it's probably better suited if you have your own transportation. Parking costs 14 euros per entry, regardless of how long you stay."

"The Floris Arlequin Grand Place Hotel is a great city-break hotel in the 'Heart of the Heart of Europe'. Very well placed for both the bustling restaurants and bars, and also the magnificent historical sights of Brussels and the fantastic shopping streets. Surprisingly quiet and relaxing considering it being so close to the city centre area. Many popular attractions were nearby and the hotel is only a few minutes walk to the excellent public transport system should you wish to go further afield, like the Atomium. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Great big comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom with a powerful hot shower. The room had a handy mini fridge and a modern TV with streaming services. WiFi was also excellent I did try the breakfast and while the continental elements were nice the cooked parts were a bit disappointing. The bacon was a bit overcooked and the sausage was the tinned hot-dog variety made worse by spending too long being kept warm. You would hope that being in a country with fantastic food and meat products you might find some proper breakfast sausages. A minor issue and other than that the rest of the breakfast selection was fine. The breakfast area was kept clean and the staff kept the self-service area stocked up. If you want a convenient, clean and comfortable city break hotel within easy reach of everything Brussels has to offer I can highly recommend Floris Arlequin Grand Place Hotel."

"This time, I got a room on the fourth floor, which was more standard (last time, the top-floor 'Dachzimmer' was smaller). The bathroom renovation was also good. The breakfast was quite rich, with self-service freshly squeezed juice, a good variety of cheeses and meats, and excellent baked goods. The hotel is about 150 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around."

"First time in Brussels. First time at this hotel. A lovely experience all round. From the Concierge to the first floor check-in to the catering, staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. I'm afraid I didn't get everyone's name, but I remember Anel went above and beyond to provide an enjoyable experience. Hotel is located in a cleaner, calmer part of the city but the busier part is only a 15 minute walk away. There are convenience shops located nearby, so it is in a good location. Room was clean and comfortable. Definitely plan to return."

"Just a place you need in the heart of the city that’s cheap for 1 night. Could have done with a bit more of a clean but it was quiet, dark and just what we needed for a night stay. There was construction going on next door but that didn’t really affect us. The team were accommodating. My only bug was having to pay €5 for luggage storage after staying there for a couple hours but I suppose the hotel was cheap enough. The food location right next door (My Tannour - Wolf) was fantastic!"

"The location was convenient for me due to a conference at the Université Libre de Bruxelles which is 20’ away on foot. Value for money was also good. However, as these are apartments with a kitchen you can get a taste of previous guests’ cooking. I suppose it’s very difficult to clean a kitchen thoroughly after it has been in use for a few years. The staff at the front desk are very helpful. An ok place overall."

"Standard hotel for sleep, bathroom looks a bit tired, could do with a deep clean or renovation. Hair dryer not very effective. A/C doesn't work very well, could need maintenance. For a Superior room it didn't feel very superior. Good amount of space though. Close to main station for Eurostar."
