Guest UserThe yurt's decor is distinctly Mongolian, spacious, and boasts a stable Wi-Fi signal, shattering my preconceived notions about the basic conditions of grassland accommodations. Its location is superb, surrounded by expansive grasslands, perfect for leisurely strolls and photo opportunities â every shot is a masterpiece. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; any needs are readily addressed, and they even thoughtfully shared information about nearby less-known viewpoints. At night, lying in the yurt and gazing at the starry sky through the skylight creates an immersive atmosphere. It's a one-stop shop for all your needs â food, accommodation, and activities â and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands!

The hotel is located deep in the grassland, with an endless expanse of grassland right in front of you. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and each has a private bathroom, which is very convenient. The owners, a husband and wife, are very welcoming. I suggest that friends who come here bring warm clothes. Highly recommended, this place is great!

We are two tourists from Canada and France. This hotel was recommended by one of our local friends and we really enjoyed it. The staff is helpful, the room is spacious and clean, and the location is ideal for people departing from the Donghe airport (10-15 min taxi ride). The complimentary breakfast was also excellent with food like red bean buns, self-serve noodles, coffee, bread, etc. and the overall quality of the hotel made our two-day stay in Baotou very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone there who was very warm and accomodating!

The most beautiful Northern Xinjiang, with beautiful scenery, drove for more than 90 kilometers and drove for nearly an hour. During the journey, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the green mountains. Then we arrived at the Xilamuren Grassland Scenic Area Hotel. The first thing that caught our eyes was the neat rows of white yurts and yurts. Rows of luxurious cabins complement the blue sky and white clouds and complement each other! The landlady is very enthusiastic and very beautiful! They arranged meals and check-in for us. In the afternoon, we watched the iconic performance âLegend of Monanâ, the image endorsement of Xilamuren Grassland. It was particularly shocking and we truly felt the heroic song of the Mongolian nation! In the evening, we caught up with the âWelcome Bonfire Partyâ with the theme of Labor Day in the scenic spot. It was very lively, with fireworks and fireworks all day long... This trip to the grassland left a deep impression on us. Here, Thanks also to the beautiful boss for the warm hospitality! I wish the boss a prosperous business and abundant financial resources!

Anonymous UserA nice hotel! A simple spread of cakes and biscuits provided for teatime, and a bowl of noodles for supperđđđđWas upgraded to a bigger room when we checked in! Everything was good except water seeps through the glass door when taking a bath thus making the outside area wet! Floor mat is also not provided!

Guest UserI brought my family to Xilamuren Grassland this time and we stayed at the Saibei Inn. The inn is right on the grassland, so stepping out, you're greeted by endless plains. The view is incredibly open and the air is fresh. In the mornings and evenings, you can enjoy a cool breeze, which is really refreshing. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding tidy, and all the basic amenities were provided, making for a comfortable stay. Both the owner and staff were very warm and genuine, always willing to help when needed. It's also very convenient for sightseeing around; horseback riding and other grassland activities are all nearby. You can even enjoy the grassland nightscape in the evening. We had a great experience with both the food and accommodation here. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands.

I really enjoyed my stay here!! The yurt was spacious, the design was a bit old-fashioned and basic but everything was functional. The activities were explained together with their price. I just chose the dinner and it was great. Samples of traditional meals, dances and the unique throat singing, and one could even wear the traditional clothes. Very touristy but fun!The other resorts are quite nearby tho so it wasnt as deserted as I was expecting but still gives one an idea of the grassland atmosphere. The staff was amazing! They took extraordinary care of me. They picked me up on the bus stop even without me requesting it and the next day drove me to the nearest town when the roads got flooded and the buses wouldn't come. They did it for free and my entire stay were really friendly and trying to make me feel welcome đ

Guest UserBeautiful resort in the Xilamuren grasslands, with a mix of traditional yurts and unique modern-styled accommodations. I stayed in both types of accommodation and both were very comfortable. Full length windows offer views of the expansive grasslands in the day, while the yurts also have a unique skyroof design for stargazing on clearer nights.
Breakfast was quite simple local fare, mainly porridge with sides like pickles and egg, very filling. Lunch and dinner is not inclusive but there is a large menu that you can order from. The resort also has its own bar! I believe it is open nightly during the peak season of July/August, and depending on guest volumes at other times.
The boss Mr Da and his staff were so welcoming and kind. I travelled solo, and they added me on WeChat so that I could easily reach them if I had any questions or needs. Boss Da also very kindly took me to a few local sights and spots, since I did not have my own means of transport (ć谢螞čćż!). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the resort. If I were to visit Xilamuren again, Xilamuren Grassland Mongolian Holy Land Resort would definitely be my accommodation of choice.

Absolutely amazing reviews, nothing to say. The hotel customer service, Mr. Li who picked us up, and the rest of the hotel staff were all super nice. The hotel has private bathrooms, which are clean and well-equipped. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, took us on tours, and gave us many discounts. We had a blast. We met lovely people on the Xilamuren Grassland. I'm so happy and will definitely come back! It's much more reliable to contact a hotel than a tour group! Blue skies, white clouds, green grass, and adorable lambs! Horseback riding and archery at the Aobao meeting were so much fun.

We had a wonderful stay, largely thanks to one of the owners who went out of their way to organize activities for us and made our experience truly memorable. The dinner and show were fantasticâfeaturing original-style Mongolian traditional dance and singing that felt authentic and captivating. Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good.
That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfillingâmost of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile.
Balanced Short Version (Google/TripAdvisor):
Great experience thanks to one of the owners, who personally organized activities for us. The dinner and show were a highlightâoriginal Mongolian traditional dance and singing that was unique and impressive. Food was excellent at all meals, especially the Lamb Bao at breakfast, and the staff were genuinely warm. Costs were quite high compared to what I'm used to after 10+ years in China. I recommend the horse riding off the main area as suggested, but the Happy Ranch activities weren't worth the time or moneyâthough that's external, not the hotel's fault. Didn't use the actual hotel amenities, but the hospitality and performance were good.
