MMax_S02Firstly, this has to be one of the nicest places which I stayed at in Yunnan, or in China for that matter. You may be thinking that is price is good to be true, but this place performs well above what is to be expected of that price range. I was originally planning to stay elsewhere in Benzilan, but am very glad that I stayed here.
The rooms are super spacious with high ceilings and wooden furniture. The view out of my window was very green and calming. The amenities were all well-maintained and very clean. The pictures really don't do the rooms the justice that they deserve.
Secondly, and very importantly, the owner - a young Benzilan local who operates the hotel with his mother - is exceptionally kind, genuine and friendly. As a solo traveller, he helped organise transport, offered lunch, and even some of the local liquor. As far as service goes, this place remains unbeaten amongst all the places I've travelled in China.
The hotel overlooks the mountains surrounding Benzilan. In the evening, you can peacefully sit outside the hotel on its elevated terrace and quietly watch the mountains as the sun goes down.
I would not hesitate to stay again.

MM435010****This was an absolutely unforgettable stay! The guesthouse is a reconstruction of the owner's original home, and I was immediately struck by its beauty upon entering: the Western-style staircase paired with ******* paintings was exquisite and beautiful! The rooms were even more beautiful and comfortable than the pictures showed, mainly due to the attention to detail, including the tea corner, the automatic sensor lights in the bathroom, and the copper sink. This guesthouse offers excellent value for money, comparable to well-known hotels costing nearly a thousand yuan. It's truly a hidden gem.
The guesthouse's large terrace is just a short distance above a bend in the Jinsha River, offering stunning views! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yunnan and Tibet!

My stay this time was fantastic! The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the room was spotlessly clean with great natural light and ventilation. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed, paying close attention to every detail. It offers excellent value for money, making for a comfortable and worry-free stay. I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe view from the room's window was absolutely stunning! It was my first time staying in a room with such a large floor-to-ceiling window, directly facing the snow-capped mountains outside. The two double beds were huge, and the room was so spacious it almost felt a bit empty, hahaha. The cloud conditions outside the window gave a good indication of the cloud cover at Feilai Temple, which was both beautiful and convenient. Traveling to and from the hotel from Shangri-La using Diqing Transportation was very easy, as the hotel is only about 100-200 meters from their bus stop.
The owner was incredibly kind. When we left, it was raining, and even though it was a short distance, he still drove us. The hotel also has a restaurant on the first floor. The chef is amazing, hailing from Dujiangyan, Sichuan, with over a decade of experience. The Sichuan cuisine is incredibly authentic and can be made mildly spicy. It was super delicious, perfectly blending local Deqin ingredients like yak meat and ******* pork. The fragrant Sichuan dishes truly relieved my travel fatigue. A big thank you to the chef!

ZZhanhonglumeixiThe hotel's environment and facilities are top-notch for the Feilai Temple area. The owner is incredibly genuine. We were driving back to Xiamen from Ali and stopped here to rest. The owner personally and meticulously helped us with our luggage, and the two lovely ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and upgraded us to a beautiful mountain view room (the picture shows the view from the window). In the morning, they also arranged for us to see the magnificent and boundless panoramic 'sun-kissed golden mountains' from the rooftop. Amazing! We will definitely choose this place again next time.

Any requests I had were promptly addressed. The service was attentive yet discreet, never intrusive. The cleanliness was the most pleasant surprise – every corner, the sink, and the toilet were spotless. The bedding was clean, fluffy, and had a subtle, pleasant scent. The room was brightly lit and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to recover from my journey overnight. The amenities were comprehensive, and the toiletries were high quality. Downstairs, there's a supermarket and various dining options, and transportation is convenient. The overall ambiance is quiet and elegant, making it suitable for both leisure and business travel. It far surpasses other hotels in the same price range. I genuinely recommend everyone to choose this hotel!

GGuest UserI just randomly picked this hotel, but it completely exceeded my expectations! Opening the window revealed a stunning view of snow-capped mountains and a sea of clouds – the romantic snowy scenery was just breathtaking. The room was cozy and clean, with plenty of oxygen, so I didn't have to worry about altitude sickness at all. Just sitting on the balcony quietly watching the snow was so therapeutic and lovely. The service was incredibly attentive, and even though it's located at high altitude, the stay was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend it!

GGuest UserWe arrived in the evening and had dinner in the guesthouse's restaurant. The owner treated us to a delicious local wine. Our room offered a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, unlike the view at Feilai Temple, where the peaks were much closer. The next day, at sunrise, we could watch the sun set over the Golden Mountain from our room. There's also a viewing platform on the first floor, offering unobstructed views of the stars and the snow-capped mountains. The owner warmly invited us to dinner at her sister's home. The cooking was excellent and delicious! It also allowed us to experience ******* culture. The owner's daughter was adorable, not shy at all, and constantly entertained us. It snowed heavily the day we left, but thanks to the owner's guidance on a safe route, we arrived safely in Shangri-La. If I ever visit Meili Snow Mountain again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.

PPatiphatOverall is vaule for money compared with the other hotels in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly. She explained the necessary things to know of the area and how to use the equipment in the room. The room was a bit old but understandable. There were a heater and bed warmer provided. Only thing to comment are the toletries that came in the a few sachets which will be better if they can provide in the refilled-bottle. Breakfast is normal for us which can be a bit better in terms of variety.
The hotel has a good view at the rooftop but if you want to take a picture of the Snow Mountain, I still recommend to walk 5-minutes to the observation deck.

MM347362****The biggest pleasant surprise of my Yubeng trip was definitely this guesthouse. Opening the window revealed a breathtaking vista of snow-capped mountains and pristine forests; when shrouded in mist, it felt like a fairyland. Waking up to that view each morning was truly healing – the scenery is so stunning it left me speechless! What made it even better was the warm service, especially from the front desk staff. They were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive throughout, patiently helping us plan our hiking routes, reminding us of important precautions, and even proactively drying our soaking wet hiking shoes after our treks. The attention to detail showed so much warmth. Staying here offers both the tranquil beauty of nature and the thoughtful care of family. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Yubeng!
