Ten thousand thumbs up! If you're in Yubeng during the rainy season, you absolutely cannot miss this hotel. You get a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, and in the morning, you can watch the sunrise illuminate them from your room. The soundproofing is excellent, and there's underfloor heating throughout. The design is simple but blends perfectly with the scenery – they really put a lot of effort into it! The bed was incredibly comfortable. But the best part was the service. When I ran out of water at night and went to buy two bottles, the owner just gave them to me for free. This reminds me of a crummy hotel in Feilai Temple that charged 600 RMB and then even charged for water. Compared to that, I feel like guests at Muchen are so lucky!

Fantastic, fabulous, and fascinating! This homestay in Benzilan is pure magic! The location is serene, the accommodation spotless, and the people—simply outstanding. The hosts treat you like family, always smiling and going the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. Honestly, leaving this place is the hardest part! It’s hands down my best stay in Yunnan. If you’re heading to Deqin for Meili Snow Mountain, this is a must-stay. Highly recommended!

The room has floor heating, the living environment is very quiet, the boss is very talkative, responsive, the bedding is clean, and there is a parking space at the door. A few hundred meters nearby is Deqin County Hospital. If there is a high anti-oxygen, it is more convenient. The altitude is a few hundred meters lower than the hotel in the Feilai Temple area. It is very friendly to the high anti-people. The price of the Deqin County hotel is also much cheaper than the hotels near Feilai Temple. It is very suitable for self-driving travel accommodation. It is about 13 kilometers away from Feilai Temple Observation Deck and about 20 minutes by car. It is closer to the thick fog top observation deck. It takes about half an hour to drive between the two observation decks and the hotel is between the two observation decks. By the way, the Meili Snow Mountain is much more ornamental than the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the room was spotlessly clean with great natural light and ventilation. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed, paying close attention to every detail. It offers excellent value for money, making for a comfortable and worry-free stay. I highly recommend it!

If you're traveling by bus like me, this hotel is the best choice because it's right next to the bus stop, literally less than a minute's walk away. 😂 **Accommodation:** The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. It's about a 5-6 minute walk from Feilai Temple observation deck. They offer free breakfast, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try it due to time constraints, which was a bit of a shame. 😔 **Facilities:** They have floor heating, an oxygen concentrator, a humidifier, and a heated ceiling in the bathroom. **Service:** The uncle was very talkative and immediately invited everyone to sit down and rest. The aunt brought a cup of hot tea. The male host (I think)? He seemed a bit shy but diligently helped carry our luggage. The female host (I think)? She was gentle and detailed in explaining the room facilities and how to use the floor heating. They are a very warm and friendly family! The next morning, I saw the shy male host carefully wiping the steps and he even reminded me to be careful as the ground was slippery. **P.S.** There are thoughtful little details in every corner of the room. Check the small box in the bedside table – you're sure to find something you need. This time, I forgot my hand cream, and the snake oil balm there solved a big problem! I chose Snow Mountain Awakens Hotel this time, fulfilling my dream of ”lying down and watching the snow-capped mountains”! The huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the snow-capped mountains like a painting. In the morning, I didn't have to jostle with crowds at the observation deck; I just opened my eyes and drew the curtains to witness the breathtaking moment of the golden sun illuminating the peaks. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't perfect, but the intermittently visible Meili Snow Mountain still left me speechless. 🛋️ As someone concerned about altitude sickness, the room was equipped with diffused oxygen and underfloor heating throughout, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep without any of the usual discomfort at high altitudes. The smart room control system was also very convenient, and the full set of Bvlgari toiletries showed real thoughtfulness. 🥘 We had dinner directly at the hotel restaurant, and you really *have* to try their stir-fried yak meat!!! The meat was tender, every dish was incredibly generous in portion, and the restaurant also offered direct views of Meili Snow Mountain. 🎇 The hotel's special activities were also full of ritual. There's a fireworks show every night at 7:50 PM, followed by a documentary on Meili at 9:00 PM, offering an immersive understanding of the stories of the sacred mountains of Tibet. In the morning at 9:30 AM, there's a morning Sang offering, where a mixture of cypress branches, barley, tsampa, and other fragrant ingredients are burned, with the pure smoke offered to the deities to convey gratitude, purification, and prayers.

The attention to detail is evident, clearly showing how dedicated the owners are to running this business. The overall stay experience was perfect, with absolutely no complaints. I paid a reasonable price for an amazing experience – the value for money is off the charts. I sincerely believe this place is highly recommendable. We arrived in the evening and had dinner in the guesthouse's restaurant. The owner treated us to a delicious local wine. Our room offered a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, unlike the view at Feilai Temple, where the peaks were much closer. The next day, at sunrise, we could watch the sun set over the Golden Mountain from our room. There's also a viewing platform on the first floor, offering unobstructed views of the stars and the snow-capped mountains. The owner warmly invited us to dinner at her sister's home. The cooking was excellent and delicious! It also allowed us to experience ******* culture. The owner's daughter was adorable, not shy at all, and constantly entertained us. It snowed heavily the day we left, but thanks to the owner's guidance on a safe route, we arrived safely in Shangri-La. If I ever visit Meili Snow Mountain again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.

The location is fantastic, right in Upper Yubeng, making it super convenient for hiking. The common area has a great vibe, perfect for chatting with travelers from all over. The bedding in the room was incredibly soft and cozy, and it wasn't cold at night in the mountains. My stay this time was absolutely perfect!

The attention to detail showed so much warmth. Staying here offers both the tranquil beauty of nature and the thoughtful care of family. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Yubeng!
