"This hotel in Kunming was such a pleasant surprise! My original room faced the street and was a bit noisy, so the front desk proactively upgraded me to a much quieter one.
Outside the room, all I could see were the traditional blue-tiled roofs of Kunming Old Street. In the evening, the sunset painted the clouds a warm yellow, and the distant city skyscrapers blended beautifully with the old town architecture. Opening the window offered a unique kind of Kunming charm.
The location is absolutely fantastic too! Step outside and you're right in the Old Street commercial area. Wenhua Street and Huangdong Street are both within walking distance, and you can stroll to Cuihu Lake and Yunnan University. It's super convenient for trying authentic local dishes and exploring night markets. Getting anywhere is a breeze – a true godsend for anyone who likes to take it easy. Comfortable and hassle-free, I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Kunming!"

"We were on a business trip as a team. After checking out the hotel online, we were very impressed upon arrival and decided to book it. The hotel's location is excellent, just about 3 kilometers from Kunming South Station. The surrounding area has great transport links, a subway, and plenty of commercial options. The hotel is located inside Wanda Plaza, and there's a huge pond just 100 meters away with beautiful scenery where you can go boating, and the lights at night are stunning. The front desk staff mentioned that attractions like Dianchi Lake, Laoyu River, and Haiyan Village are only a few kilometers away, and the municipal government and Chinese medicine hospital are right next to the hotel. The room decor is exquisite, the hygiene is top-notch, and the bedding comfort is as high-class as a four-star hotel, featuring independent fan coil units and Arrow brand toilets. We were especially impressed by the front desk lady on duty; she was warm, generous, and provided thoughtful service. She was absolutely beautiful, with rosy cheeks and pearly white teeth! This was a very satisfying stay, and we look forward to our next visit!"

"Hotel ameninites are clean and a the staffs are nice and friendly. Huge shoutout to staff Yedda, she has been such a great help thus far during our stay, her friendly attitude in helping her customers are admirable. Breakfast was really good and lots of varieties to choose from!
Note to take: only 15 mins away from the airport, so it is really good if you are taking a transit flight or early flight because the ahort distance makes waking up less tiresome. However it is slightly further away from town, around 40mins away to the ancient town, but overall still a good central location!"

"After a great first night, I decisively extended my stay for two more nights at this hotel. The front desk staff, both the young man and young woman, proactively offered to switch my room so I could experience different ethnic homes. They also provided a complimentary traditional costume experience, which got me a 200%回头率 (200% head-turning rate - basically, everyone stared at me in a good way!). The complimentary rose tea was delicious, and the breakfast they offered kept me full enough to play all morning without feeling hungry. The complimentary roasted milk also left me wanting more.
All in all, this is a hotel that offers a complete and satisfying experience, providing excellent value for money."

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient, the airport subway is directly accessible, very close to Kunming Station and the old street, and there are flower markets and fruit markets within walking distance. Downstairs is Vientiane City, a lot of choices for eating, drinking and playing.
The service is super good, because the washing machine and water heater are not easy to use, the first time to buy and change the new machine. Every day, replenish sufficient bottled water and toiletries for many people. The clothes were washed on the first night and dried early the next morning. You can bring a lot of clothes to change.
The room is very good, very suitable for family travel, the rare thing is to have air conditioning, which is not common in Kunming.

GGuest UserMy first stop in Yunnan was Kunming, and it was a great stay! The hotel is a standalone villa with its own private garage and parking spaces right in front and back, which made parking incredibly convenient. It's located in a high-end villa community. Nearby attractions include Kunming Old Town and the Yunnan Provincial Museum, as well as the Dounan Flower Market and many Dianchi Lake wetland parks, making it very convenient for getting around and shopping. As soon as I entered the room, I saw the huge, plump koi fish. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with a sofa and a projector. The disposable toiletries were of excellent quality, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was very good, ensuring a great night's sleep! The butler service was warm and efficient with check-in. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and their signature small pot rice noodles were simply unmatched by any other place. Next time I come to Kunming, this place will definitely be my first choice!

SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

GGuest UserWe would 100% recommend to stay at this hotel. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night.
The hotel and garden are absolutely beautiful. The room itself was very comfortable. There is a self cleaning toilet, a big shower, a comfortable bed, a nice small sitting area and our room also had a private balcony with a beautiful view.
Every morning we were welcomed around the big table with delicious Yunnan coffee and the most delicious home cooked breakfast. The host is an amazing cook. It was a very pleasant surprise every morning.
The location of the hotel is also amazing. In less than 5 minutes walk you reach Chamahua street with many local food options. In less than 10 minutes you can hike in the Xishan scenic area and visit beautiful temples. By metro and taxi you can easily reach the city center.
Also, if you don't speak Chinese like us, it's not a problem. One of the hosts speak a bit if English and everyone was really making an effort to communicate with translation apps.

GGuest UserExcellent! The owner is really warm and knowledgeable. The place is very clean, and the common areas are spacious. Plus, there's a fantastic rooftop where you can read and enjoy the breeze. The location is super convenient too, right next to Kunming Railway Station – just a 3-minute walk. The subway station is 5 minutes away, and a bus stop is only 2 minutes. There's even a direct bus to Changshui Airport nearby. All in all, everything was great. I'll definitely choose this hostel again, whether for a longer stay or just a layover. As someone who's been backpacking around the world for 13 years, I highly recommend it!

TThe Domestic China TravelerGreat location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
