"This is a wonderful small boutique hotel, beautiful and thoughtfully designed in every corner. I loved the summer special drinks in the lobby and the convenient 'carefree corner,' which had everything you could need. The flavored afternoon tea, featuring huangjiu (yellow wine), was a delightful and immersive experience. The hotel's location is fantastic; Cangqiao Old Street is lively and convenient, while Fushan Park and the morning market offer a glimpse into local life. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast and late-night snacks were delicious. Plus, it's super easy to get around from here. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shaoxing."

"First off, the location is fantastic! Lu Xun's Former Residence and Cangqiao Street are right next door, just a short walk away. The hygiene is also excellent; the rooms are very clean. The facilities are quite basic but sufficient for use. Second, there are so many dining options nearby, and the food is all pretty good. Third, transportation is super convenient. It's only a two-minute walk from Metro Exit B, and there are plenty of bus routes nearby too. My family of three rented an e-scooter from the owner. It had a navigation holder and good storage space for bags, snacks, and so on, which made getting around incredibly convenient. It saved us a lot of effort exploring this way, especially since many places we visited were just a quick scooter ride away. If something looked interesting, we'd hop off and take a photo. The e-scooter rental was also very affordable. Renting an e-scooter was the smartest decision we made on this trip. Shaoxing is great for walking tours, but a scooter is even better – otherwise, your feet would be worn out! Highly recommend it, especially for families with kids."

"Great little hotel, short walk to Cangqiao Straight Street. The hostess was helpful and warm, gave me food recommendations which turned out to be great. The room had a wonderful smell, like hinoki wood I think? It was very pleasant. The bed was slightly hard and some noise from the nearby market in the mornings could be heard, but I slept well. The hostess gave me some meigancai as a parting gift which I really appreciate!"

"What a pleasant surprise! This hotel is a hidden gem. It's tucked away and a bit hard to find, but their service is top-notch. They contacted us the day before, asking about our travel plans and if we were bringing elderly, children, or pets. Since we always travel with our furry friend, their pet-friendly policy was a huge deciding factor. The hotel is nestled within an old residential area, blending in perfectly without any sense of incongruity – it felt like discovering a new world in a bustling district. The surroundings are surprisingly quiet with low foot traffic. Even better, it's incredibly close to all the popular attractions, which meant we didn't have to trek far to enjoy the sights, while still having a peaceful retreat at the hotel. This was definitely the highlight for our family. The courtyard, with its charming bridges and flowing water, had a lovely spring-like vibe, perfect for artsy photos. After a long day of exploring, instead of going straight to our room, we relaxed by the pool, soaking up the sun – so serene and utterly relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean, and I loved the subtle, pleasant fragrance. The color scheme in the room was particularly appealing, both stylish and cozy. With the pool right outside the window and plenty of sunshine streaming in, it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was quite varied, featuring many local specialties. The 'yinggao' (rice cake) was absolutely delicious; I ate three pieces myself! The handmade 'xiaohuntun' (mini wontons) prepared by the auntie were also incredibly fresh and flavorful – you could tell the ingredients were top-quality. P.S. It was a bit busy during breakfast, and the wontons and pumpkin 'miangeda' (dough drops) were made fresh to order, which was a very thoughtful touch. Although they accidentally gave our bowl of miangeda to another guest, they quickly prepared a new one for us. We totally understand that mistakes happen sometimes, and we still really enjoyed it. We visit Shaoxing frequently and will definitely be back if we get the chance. We highly, highly recommend this hotel!"

"The environment here is beautiful; every corner offers a picturesque view. There's a friendly and clingy cat on the premises. It's very close to Lu Xun's former residence, just a 5-minute walk, so the location is super convenient. To the left of the hotel, there's the highest-rated makeup and styling salon, and to the right, a delicious fusion restaurant. For service, they upgraded my room for free, and the butler was very responsive, checking in every night to see if I wanted sweet soup. On the night of check-in, they even gave me an incense stick that smelled lovely, though I completely forgot to order the sweet soup all three nights I stayed! 😅 Breakfast can be delivered to the room, which is perfect for lazy people like me. Regarding facilities, it seems there's no TV set-top box in the room. I tried to watch something late one night but couldn't get it to work. However, I'm sure the butler could have quickly resolved it if I had asked. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing isn't great. In the mornings, I could hear housekeepers cleaning other rooms or people chatting as they walked by. Luckily, I brought earplugs, so it wasn't a big issue."

"When I arrived at the hotel on the first day, there were many guests checking in at the front desk. The receptionist was very welcoming and efficient, processing everyone's check-in promptly. Upon entering the room, I discovered it was a converted apartment. Although the ceiling was slightly low, it was clean, tidy, and fully equipped—very convenient. QR codes were posted at the front desk and in the room, allowing me to contact them anytime for assistance or to voice feedback. I requested an extra pair of slippers, which they brought shortly after. I stayed for two days and had a great experience. It was quiet, clean, and most importantly, very affordable. Transportation was convenient, parking was plentiful, and it was only 200-300 meters from the subway. A great choice."

"Very satisfied with my stay here, right inside Luzhen. You step out to quaint bridges and flowing water, and it's so peaceful to walk around early in the morning. The room was exquisite, and the butler was very responsive to any issues. The room smelled lovely, and the bathroom was spotless, even with a diffuser. Most importantly, the bar area allowed for brewing tea, and they provided disposable liners for the kettle, which felt very modern and hygienic. My only minor suggestion would be to add a handle to the bathtub for safety."

"Service: The front desk staff had a great attitude and answered all my questions. Cleanliness: Good, the bathroom was clean, and there was no dust on the desk or wardrobe. Environment: The surrounding area is nice, with an Intime Department Store nearby for shopping, and Lu Xun's Former Residence is just a short walk away. Facilities: It has all the standard hotel amenities, and the room having two locks made me feel secure. Drawbacks: 1. The soundproofing isn't great; I could hear people walking by outside and even the sound of mobile payment notifications from other rooms. 2. The window screens in my room were dusty, but the curtains and other room facilities were clean, which is better than some other hotels I've stayed in."

"This stay truly exceeded my expectations, and the service must be highly praised. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I felt a genuine sense of hospitality. The front desk lady had a wonderful smile and handled check-in incredibly quickly. She upgraded us to a family room free of charge and even gave our children breakfast vouchers. She was incredibly warm and patient, never impatient at all, and treated us like family. Breakfast is a true foodie's delight! There's a wide variety of options, both Chinese and Western, and the wontons and fried eggs are cooked to perfection. I'll definitely stay here again; the value for money is incredible! (I'm not someone who doesn't like taking photos.)"
