"The room was spacious and tidy, clean and comfortable. The balcony offered a fantastic view. They also provided a complimentary Miao ethnic costume experience, welcome fruits and drinks, a rich afternoon tea, and thoughtful goodnight sweet soup. The service was warm and attentive, even helping us carry our luggage up and down the stairs. All in all, this trip to the Miao village was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the Miao village."

"Our stay was absolutely impeccable, with the breathtaking sea view from the window being the most memorable part. Every sunrise felt like a private visual feast. The hotel's service far exceeded our expectations; the staff were always incredibly attentive, anticipating our every need. The restaurant was a delightful surprise as well, offering exquisite local dishes every evening, all beautifully presented and delicious. We also received a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious suite with a private balcony, which made our entire vacation even more luxurious and comfortable. "Upon arrival at Kailinan Station, the PIC of Leili sent someone to pick us up. She even recommended us places to go and to dine in Kaili during the short drive. To our surprise, all the staff of Leili are female! Wow, it was all girls power and we were so impressed of how well they have managed the homestay! The homestay is artistically designed and decorated,the ambience is so cozy, the rooms are so new and clean. Not forgetting, the staff are so enthusiastic and kind to share us some information about Kaili. The homestay even provided us with welcome afternoon tea sets which serves their local tea and midnight dessert (green bean soup). We just feel so home staying in Leili. =)"

"Having stayed in so many hotels, this one really impressed me! The new Chinese style layout design is warm and elegant, which is my favorite decoration style. The room is clean and tidy, spotless, with great attention to detail, and there is no dust even in the corners. The fully intelligent facilities are really convenient. Robots deliver water, laundry reservations are made in the laundry room, and the equipment in the gym is also very new, which meets my daily exercise needs. The best thing is that the selection of toothbrushes and bath products is the most comfortable I have ever used in all the hotels I have stayed in. It seems that the boss is a person who pays great attention to the quality of life. The hotel is very close to the high-speed rail station and the city center, which is perfect for people like me who travel frequently for business."

"Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village Xiangsu Light Luxury Hotel was absolutely stunning! The service was warm and attentive; they proactively helped with luggage and offered tips for exploring. The room was clean and elegant, with an incredible panoramic view. At night, you're surrounded by the myriad lights of the Miao village. Their viewing platform has unique features like 'reaching for the roof,' an internet-famous bed, and an infinity pool – every photo you take turns out perfectly. Plus, their dining and travel photography services are excellent; the food was delicious, and the photographer was very professional. It's a perfect luxury experience, highly recommended!"

"Here in Langde you are immersed in all things Miao. Exploring the Chinese Miao culture and learning how every embroidered, woven, wax-resistant mark, song and probably dance step has meaning. I was snap happy in this 670 year old wooden village. Rice noodles with minced pork with a side of boiled egg and sweet potato for breakfast. Then off to the daily dancing show that was wonderful! I love my balcony that overlooked the river. The room was beautiful appointed with indigo fabrics. The inn keeper was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Just got back from Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and I have to rave about Tianhe Shiguang! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the west side of Wind-Rain Bridge No. 5. Step outside and you're at the Necklace Square and Bairiver boardwalk. Head up for the viewing platform, or stroll downriver to Bridge No. 1, all super close for exploring and dining. Even though it's in the heart of the action, it's surprisingly quiet, away from the noisy bars on the main street. In the room, all you hear is the gentle sound of the flowing water, which made for a really deep sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, especially the rice noodles. What really impressed me was the butler who proactively met us at the bridge to help with all our heavy luggage, both on arrival and departure, even taking our bags to Bridge No. 5 when we checked out. New rooms, new facilities, and smart home features throughout – highly recommend!"

"I never expected the biggest surprise of my trip to be this guesthouse in the Miao Village! 💕 The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the observation deck. If you enter from the West Gate, you just walk a bit and then take the shuttle bus directly to the hotel. This is quite important in Miao Village, as you wouldn't want to carry your luggage up and down. You can enjoy the view from both the room and the lobby lounge. On a rainy day, this spot is perfect for enjoying the scenery, much better than being out with all the other tourists. The room facilities are very new and high-quality, definitely on par with a five-star hotel. The mini-fridge in the room is thoughtfully stocked with drinks, and we were even treated to afternoon tea upon arrival. Self-service laundry is also available, which was super convenient since our clothes were damp from the past two days – we could wash and dry them. The housekeeper was incredibly warm and friendly; she handled our transfers and helped us with our luggage the whole way. Breakfast is made-to-order, very fresh and delicious. If you're traveling to Xijiang, I truly highly recommend this guesthouse."

"The wooden decor in the room is absolutely beautiful, and the swing is such a cozy touch. The mattress is incredibly soft, even softer than the ones at Huazhu Hotels in Guiyang, so I slept wonderfully. The noodles made by the auntie for breakfast were also delicious! The owner must be someone who loves cats and runs the place with great care. You can see the thoughtfulness everywhere in the guesthouse, which is a refreshing change from the commercialized main street. I hope they keep up the good work! The staff (young men) were also incredibly friendly – thumbs up! I even stumbled upon a traveler's diary in the room, which showed such great attention to detail and was truly touching. The only downside is that the bathroom could use an upgrade; it feels quite old. When I checked in, there was water on the floor, and even after they helped clean it, there was still water on the ground hours later when I returned to the room, as if it never fully dried. Aside from the bathroom, the room itself has a fantastic vibe. I absolutely loved the swing, the viewing platform, the small bar, and the excellent service. You could easily spend an entire day just relaxing at the guesthouse. However, it is located quite high up, so it might be a bit challenging for elderly guests or those with young children to climb."
