"I had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt comfortable and well thought out. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a spacious sea view room, which made the experience even more memorable. The hotel has a private infinity pool filled with sea water which was the perfect spot to unwind while soaking in the panoramic ocean views. The staff were consistently warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the stay feel special. Breakfast was satisfying each morning, with a good variety of options. While the menu remained largely consistent throughout the stay, there were small daily changes that kept things fresh without straying too far from the familiar. Overall, a comfortable and scenic retreat with excellent service. I’d happily return."

"We recently stayed at the Sarann Hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is very clean, and the staff were professional and attentive. Our room was neatly cleaned every day, and fresh water was always provided. The pool was a highlight and definitely one of the top features of the hotel. On the downside, we did notice an unpleasant odor near the drains when walking from our room to the lobby and restaurant area. Also, the water pressure in the bathroom was not great; it took a long time to fill the bathtub. The TV channels were limited, and we didn't really use the television during our stay. Another factor to consider is the location. The hotel sits at a corner, making it a bit tricky and potentially dangerous to cross the road due to traffic from both sides. Lastly, the beach near the hotel wasn’t very clean, with quite a bit of litter washed up, but that’s not something the hotel can control. The resturant's food is the best we've had on the island. 10/10 In summary, the Saran Hotel is a good choice for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and lovely pool, though there are a few areas that could use improvement"

"Very friendly and helpful staff, impressed with the service. Pools are great. Breakfast buffet has a large selection of food. Very very good value for money. Only beef is with the poolside bar music… didn’t understand the loud EDM whilst there were only several people here quietly reading books…"

"This was my third stay here; twice I've been in a beachfront villa, and once when I couldn't book one, I opted for a sea view villa, which instantly halved my experience. If it's your first time in Koh Samui and you want an unbeatable sea view room with hotel amenities, I highly recommend the beachfront villas at Silavadee. **Hotel Pros:** The stunning, unbeatable ocean views are immediately apparent and absolutely breathtaking. Furthermore, the room design and maintenance are excellent; it's a wooden structure full of holiday charm that doesn't feel damp or moldy despite being by the sea, remaining fresh and tidy. The hotel service is spot on. Whether it's room service or restaurant service, they respond promptly to requests, and the prices are reasonable! **Things to consider for your stay:** The transportation is a bit inconvenient. Since it's on a hill, there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance apart from the hotel's own. We rented a motorbike from the hotel, so it didn't affect us. The hotel beach is just average; it's a bit small, and walking further in can be a bit rough on the feet. The waves are often too strong for water sports, but since we mostly relaxed in our room, it wasn't an issue for us."

They are not only efficient, ensuring everything runs smoothly, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. This level of service greatly enhances the overall stay. Room Views: Opting for a room on the third floor is highly recommended as it offers scenic views. While the first and second floors might lack these views, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms remain commendable. Bed and pillows were awesome!! Pool Area: The infinity pool is a highlight, providing a luxurious and serene environment to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the sun. This well-maintained area is made even more enjoyable by the fun and friendly pool and bar staff. One memorable highlight was when staff made popsicles by hand for the guests, adding a delightful touch to the day’s activities. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at the resort is exceptional. With a wide variety of choices, both in terms of dishes and flavors, every morning feels like a new culinary adventure. The quality and taste of the food meet high standards, ensuring a delightful start to the day. Cons: Noise Levels: A significant downside to staying at Dara Samui Beach Resort, especially noted on Chaweng Beach, is the noise pollution from nearby clubs. Guests looking for a peaceful night's sleep might find the loud music, particularly the repetitive beats and booming sounds from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM, to be a major disturbance. This could be a dealbreaker for light sleepers or those seeking a restful retreat. Beach and Swimming Conditions: While the beach itself is beautiful and great for daytime relaxation, the water level often remains below one meter, making it impossible to swim in the ocean. This shallow water issue is prevalent across most of Chaweng Beach and might disappoint those looking forward to ocean swimming. Conclusion: Dara Samui Beach Resort offers a fantastic adult-only experience with its excellent location, superb staff, and top-notch facilities. However, potential guests should be aware of the early morning noise and the less-than-ideal swimming conditions in the ocean. If you are a night owl or can sleep through noise, and don't mind shallow beachfront waters, these issues might not be as impactful. Otherwise, consider requesting a room as far from the noise source as possible or look into noise-canceling solutions and plan for alternative ocen swimming options like a day at Silver Cove. Despite these setbacks, the resort's positives significantly outweigh its negatives, making it a worthy consideration for your stay in Koh Samui. Also exceptional value for the money."

"Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. It's just a few minutes' walk to the sea and the beach, with plenty of cafes and shops nearby. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and always willing to help. An excellent combination of comfort and location, making it ideal for a perfect holiday. This isn't our first stay at this hotel, and it certainly won't be our last! 👍😄"

"Very nice stay, the hotel is off the beaten path, with very small private beach. 10 minutes walk to lamai beach. Very clean and beautiful room, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Nice pools. The breakfast was good, with both buffet and a la carte, quick service. Staff was lovely. The food was not really an highlight tho, would recommend going to the small town."

"Absolutely loved it! We got an upgrade to Villa and this was a quite an experience. Big bed, bathtub, balcony , peace, all you need. Breakfast was amazing and they provide scooters to rent! If I knew this I would definitely come here earlier! Thanks you!"

"Great hillside location with beautiful views overlooking the Bophut area, and only a short drive to Fisherman’s Village. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection, including hot food cooked fresh. There’s a gym and yoga classes, plus a spa on site, all of which we used apart from spa but was popular. The infinity pool is fabulous, and the restaurant was lovely for dinner. I’m vegetarian and had a good range of options. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the buggy service to the main area was very useful as the hotel sits on a steep hill. We really liked the relaxed vibe and the huge, spacious room. Would happily stay here again."

"Great resort, clean rooms, good amenities , good price! 2 pools , beach bar , nice restaurant Perfect location 👍🏻 right on the beach next to Lip smackers bar. Resort also has a good happy hour every evening with live music. We stayed there when it was raining and we were provided with huge umbrellas👍🏻 Definitely staying there again"
