Everything in this hotel works well except the food. I ordered room service and the quality of the food was not what I expected. The veggie kare-kare tasted like plain stir fry. The salted dried fish fried rice did not taste like there was dried fish at all. Buffet breakfast options were very limited. The tastes of the food that claims to be Cebuano are just sad. I hope they do something about their food quality because the people here are just wonderful. Concierge, reception, housekeeping, F&B... they are wonderful! The rooms are great too! I went there to relax after two weeks of back-to-back illness and I mostly stayed in the room to sleep and watch the French Open. Great bed and pillows! Shower pressure is perfect and the toiletries are complete and well stocked. There is access to a private beach and there is a sauna and pool on the second floor. I just really hope they make improvements with their food.
Our stay at Bohol Beach Club was an absolute dream, a perfect blend of swaying palm trees and pristine white sands! We stayed in a beachfront villa suite, and from our terrace, we had an uninterrupted view of the towering coconut trees, standing like elegant sentinels stretching endlessly along the coastline. They not only formed a stunning tropical tableau but also provided refreshing shade from the scorching sun. Lying in a hammock or on a beach chair, listening to the rustle of the coconut leaves in the sea breeze, was the unique, soothing soundtrack of this place. The fine, soft white sand was a delight to walk on barefoot, transitioning from warm to cool with every step. The beach gently sloped into the clear, emerald-green waters, creating a natural shallow area that was safe and perfect for children to play and for beginners to snorkel. If you're looking for that classic, quintessential island paradise – swaying palms, immaculate white sand, and crystal-clear water – Bohol Beach Club is the epitome of that postcard-perfect scene. We will definitely return for more memories of this coconut breeze and white sand!

Excellent Stay!
I recently stayed at this accomodation and was really impressed. The room was well-equipped — it had a coffee maker, rice cooker, induction cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine…and even a garment steamer! There was a steady supply of drinking water, a big TV, and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the bathrobes provided — a nice touch of comfort. It also had a gym and a pool but unfortunately, I stayed on a Monfay and its closed for cleaning and maintenance.
The place is quiet since it’s located away from the city noise but still conveniently close to the airport. The only small issue I had was figuring out how the hot shower works, but everything else was perfect. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely come back!
The room was clean and spacious enough for the three of us, and the service was good value for the price. Access from the room to the pool was very convenient. The swimming pool is large and suitable for both kids and adults, with shallow areas on both sides for non-swimmers and deeper sections in the middle for more confident swimmers.
Breakfast was plated and reasonable for its price. The room tended to be a bit humid, and the pool had a strong chlorine level, so using swimming goggles may be helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The place is nice and comfortable. The room is well-lit and well-ventilated, which made the stay very pleasant. I would also like to commend Haidie from the information desk for being very approachable and for assisting me with a request that was beyond her usual duties.
As a suggestion for improvement, it would be great if the rooms could include a clothes iron or steamer, as well as hair conditioner for guests.

The room we stayed in was a bit old, but overall we still enjoyed our stay—especially the beach. Most of the hotel staff were polite and accommodating.
As for the food, I found the prices to be on the higher side compared to similar hotels nearby. The portions were relatively small for the price, and while the dishes were decent, they didn’t quite match the cost. That said, the dining area had a nice atmosphere and good service.

I loved that there were so many pools! The waterslide was super fun~ I had pre-booked an event for my birthday, and they said I'd get a bottle of wine and a cake, but only the wine was prepared. Still, the room was spacious and had a washing machine, which was great.

The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. Good training in hospitality. The rooms are clean. The location is great since it is in the center of the City. One thing that really bothers me and my wife is the noise outside the room. You can hear beds being moved around from the 13th floor and also from the rooms at side. The windows is does not block noises from the outside so there were timea it is really difficutlt to sleep.
But overall, i will still give the hotel 4/5.
Conveniently located close enough to Alona beach to easily access all the restaurants, beaches, shops etc by scooter or tuktuk but also far away enough to not constantly be bothered by loud motors, tons of roosters and all that other noise.
Rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with safe, fridge, hair dryer and plenty of racks and hooks to hang and dry your clothes. There's also an outdoor gym area and the pool is big and good for swimming. Plus the wifi is very stable and great for working remotely.
Service is friendly and helpful, the restaurant is good too.
Can recommend the hotel
This is a newly opened hotel, and both the facilities and cleanliness are excellent. Although there's a swimming pool downstairs, it's quite small, best suited for kids to splash around. The front desk was very responsive when we called for drinking water and other items. Breakfast was decent.
The main reason we chose this hotel was because we were traveling with our 11-year-old and wanted a suite with two relatively separate rooms. After a lot of searching, we picked this one, and the value for money was outstanding! The suite even had a dining table and a full set of tableware. We even set up our own dinner for New Year's Eve (though there were only three of us ( ˃᷄˶˶˶̫˶᷅ ) and the food was very humble).

YyaytakoFantastic stay and real island getaway!
View and waters are amazing, food was included in our stay (breakfast and dinner) and there are many free activities to take part. The view are spectacular! The rooms were clean and spacious for 2 pax- can fit up to 4 pax.
Favorite activity was to fish from the lagoon and watch the baby shark (white shark) feeding at 1130am and chilling at the hammock infront of the rooms.
Massages are quality if you want some wave asmr as they are done in the outdoor huts but only can do 1 hour blocks and require quick booking/advance booking as the masseuses are limited.
wifi connections are good islandwise but it’s more of chillax resort. The rooms have netflix and youtube.
do bring some night snacks or simple lunch as their restaurants close early at 9pm and ferry out are only during the lunch time
GGuest UserI booked for a room with pool view which is more expensive than the rest of the rooms but i was greatly disappointed. We were placed in a room with a roof view and the view of another building! It was a waste of money! We only get to see the roof of something! Never again would i be paying extra money for a pool view when the hotel will not give us such kind of room as advertised. They said they will transfer us to a room with a pool view but it did not happen. We kept on waiting but it did not happen until we gave up.
The receptionist was a little disrespectful and impatient.
Worse still, they do not allow guests who have checked in the hotel to use the pool with inflatable play set and slides. I was mislead into thinking that guests can use the pool with inflatable play set for free. The hotel guests have to pay P600 per person in order for one to be able to use such pool and slides. I guess families with children have been more disappointed than me knowing that they and their kids could not use such pool for free.
So those who will try to book this hotel hoping their kids can enjoy the pool with inflatable play set and slides for free, think again. You will be greatly disappointed because you will only be able to use the ordinary pools.
GGuest UserThis resort has 3 pools, a spa, a private beach, restaurants, and bars, so we had plenty to do right on site! We even managed to book parasailing last minute during our stay and did it first thing in the morning! It was great not having to travel anywhere. The amenities felt a bit sparse (toothbrush, shower cap, water, etc.) but it wasn't a problem.
The water pressure was a bit low, and the water tasted a little salty.
However, I'd still love to stay here again.
AAMtravelsThank you, Holiday Inn Cebu.
My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days.
Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work.
As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great.
I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house.
See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!
MMPBCGood place to stay but we are hoping they would be able keep up with the quality of service Solea Mactan is giving.
We appreciate the birthday surprise and nice room view.
Breakfast is just okay. Not so wide selection but will make you full. We loved the cookies.
AAnonymous UserA great place for a quick stay in mactan cebu. Near dining spots and a few shops and has free access to a nearby beach resort and has great service and amenities. Would book again for future stays
TTreyExplorerAmazing staff! Great food, many pools, and brilliant atmosphere. I was in a newly renovated room.
Although the toilet seat definitely needed updating. The seat was damaged/old and needed replacing. I requested this two days in a row, and it wasn’t changed.
Other than the toilet seat issue, my stay was perfect.
RRIf you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with a refreshing atmosphere in a remote location and especially if you’re into advanced diving this is an excellent place to stay. We stayed for just 1 night, as we wanted to explore other activities and we’re not advanced divers, so we decided to change our plans.
A quick tip: prepare cash in advance. The nearest ATM is quite far from the resort, so you’ll need to take a tricycle or rent a motorbike. The resort only accepts cash.
The highlight for us was the stunning sea view and breathtaking sunset. The property isn’t very large, but with plenty of trees it feels secluded and peaceful. The food was also delicious.
