Our stay at Belmont was awesome. It was near the beach, there's a jeep that will take you there but it's not that hourly sometimes if you want to go back to the hotel after. The breakfast on our first day was ok but the succeeding days were awesome. Haha maybe it's with the food selection and our preference as well. Overall, staff were all nice from the guards who opened the doors, receptions and any staff you get to see anywhere in the hotel up to the beach.

Mixed Experience at Maribago Blue Waters Maribago Blue Waters has always held a special place in our hearts, as we’ve loved coming here since we were kids. However, during our recent stay, we noticed some areas that could use improvement. While the more expensive rooms are definitely worth the price, the deluxe rooms at 7k don’t quite live up to expectations. They feel outdated, like they haven’t been updated in 20 years. The restaurant and spa are also quite pricey, especially the spa, which felt a bit too expensive for what it offers. During weekends, the resort can get pretty crowded, likely due to the number of walk-in guests. However, the staff are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. One highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast, offering a great variety from local Filipino favorites to international dishes. We especially loved the guy selling ”taho”—it brought back some wonderful childhood memories! While we still have a soft spot for Maribago Blue Waters, it feels like some things need improvement to live up to the resort’s reputation.

We are a couple from Germany and this is our second time in Mactan Newtown. A lot has improved in Newtown. The Savoy hotel is nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly. The value for money is excellent. The beach is gorgeous. The employees, from the reception to the waiters at the beach, are very friendly. We sincerely thank you – we felt very comfortable and relaxed. See you next time!

This has been our 4th stay in Solea and it never disappointed us. The room was big but it showed it got old over years since our sink doesn't drain easily and shower doesn't work properly. Nevertheless, the Aqua Park was such fun for my kid and even to us. The slide was amazing and several activities you get to choose from to enjoy the stay. The pools were many to choose from. The buffet was generous but we got stuck in a long queue so we waited our turn for several minutes. We stayed for a birthday celebration and Solea was thoughtful enough to put something special in the room for the celebrant and it was warmth Welcome. Looking forward to another stay soon.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a clean and well-appointed room that was complete with all the amenities I needed. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of my stay. It offered an incredible variety of options, allowing me to indulge in a delicious and satisfying meal.

The front desk’s staff is pretty nice and patient to introduce their environment and any services. The room is really clean and make me be in good mood with wonderful view. Will select this hotel if fly to Cebu.

I love this hotels lobby and breakfast the best many food choices. Only the rooms toilet it’s still old no bedit. And need to call the plumber to properly flush it. I do hope they could change the toilet coz I love staying at this hotel. There’s Agwa bar and walking distance to IT park.

Check in was a bit of a mess. Only one person on desk. Trying to check me in, answering questions for those that butted in and answering the phone. Not impressed. Room was a Chic but unable to open patio doors for safety reasons. No slippers as was stated. Only coffee in room, no teabags. Drinks and food very expensive for what it is. I feel it is not value for money. Also due to limited beds by the pool, laying towels on them has to stop. Very disappointed. Will not be staying again in the near future. Not recommended.

Special mention to John at the restaurant, whose lively personality and attentive service added to our overall comfort. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Stayed there for couple of nights. Room is spacious. They have complimentary shuttle service to and from Anola beach. There's 1 time that I requested for takeway breakfast and the Reception have no idea about the arrangement. Simple request but it will cause delay to those guests who need to leave for tours early in the morning. I shared to Reception that the bidet in the bathroom is leaking but nobody came to fix it. We usually order food from room service. Food quality is average. Housekeeping won't clear the dirty plates during make up room. In this property, you will always need to ask for the things you need or want. They don't anticipate. I was looking at the pastries near popcorn area one time and the staffs from the restaurant beside it were staring at me but nobody approach and ask if i need any assistance.

We stayed in a room on the 8th floor of the Palm building, The view is very spacious, and you can see planes taking off one after another from the distance. There is a drying rack on the balcony for hanging swimsuits, which is a very practical design. The water park is very suitable for children, the rooftop bar is very relaxing, and the drinks are delicious. The Earth restaurant offers Chinese cuisine with large portions. In the photos, we ordered small portions. The staff at both restaurants are very enthusiastic. However, the downside is that we had to wait a long time for the room, and we didn’t get the room card until nearly 3:30 p.m. After a long journey, this was a very frustrating process. Additionally, there was no hairdryer in the room, and it took three phone calls before one was finally delivered, which was also a negative experience.

We stayed for 4 nights and were happy with the room, breakfast, staff, room service en general service the hotel provides. The only thing we think they can improve on, will be the gym. It was too hot inside and the temperature can not be changed. The equipment can also be more, since 2 treadmills are not enough for the size of the hotel. It happened one morning that my wife and I could not jog because there was someone else on the treadmill. If they had more equipment, it would have been possible. Still, generally we enjoyed our stay and we will return when we are in Cebu again.

I spent most of my time in Cebu at the hotel because the facilities were amazing, and the hotel has private beach access. It's pretty far from Cebu City, but the staff are incredible. Highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for a resort vibe. 

We stayed two nights here before continuing our journey. The stay was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, as were the lunches and dinners. The service was very good in all areas: the front desk, the pool, the restaurants and the cleaning service. We would stay there again.

We lived in this place from May 02 to May 06, 2024 with our family (2 adults, 2 children). The apar**ents left me with a mixed feeling. First, about the advantages: good location, good restaurants, supermarkets nearby, you can easily walk to Magellan's tomb. The room is quite large with a separate bedroom with a double bed and a spacious wardrobe, a separate kitchen-living room with two sofas (we had enough to spread out one to sleep two children). The room has a utility room with a washing and drying machine - this was a pleasant surprise. All residents are given a pass to the nice Savoy beach, there is a shuttle there or you can walk there. The beach is good. There are nice clean swimming pools on site. You need to understand that this is not a hotel in its classic form, no one will clean the room, change towels and bed linen, etc. The purpose of our 4-day stay in Mactan was to visit the south of Cebu (swimming with sharks, turtles, sardines, Kawasan waterfall) and an excursion to the island of Bohol. From this point there are excursion routes to the places we need. Now about the minuses: there is no luggage storage room, we arrived 3 hours before check-in time, since early check-in was impossible, we wanted to leave our bags and go for a walk and eat, but it turned out that the luggage storage room is paid and in a completely different building and it’s hot there You still have to walk with your bags. But the main disadvantage is some kind of karaoke nightclub right under the hotel windows. The music there plays very loudly from the evening until late at night (2:30 am!!!). The volume was so loud that our windows on the 8th floor vibrated! It's almost impossible to sleep! Imagine that you leave for an excursion at 4:00 in the morning. And the music is blasting until 2:00! This of course greatly worsens the quality of rest!!!!

I had a great stay at Only Seed Resort in Panglao. The staff were very accommodating and always ready to help. The place is clean and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options.

We booked a two-night stay and overall it was good. Location is one kilometer away from the beach center. You can ride a tricycle to the center for P100. It is just along the road and it is situated within a commercial center where there is a cafe, convenience store, restaurants and clinic. Amenities are good. Since this is a new hotel, the furnitures and appliances are new and in good condition. Water pressure is great, shower heater is working perfectly. Private javuzzi is a plus. The bfast buffet is actually more of chinese cuisine and not of wide variety but just enough for the price. There is a big television but the channels and movies available are chinese. Overall, still a good experience. It is peaceful and quiet in the resort and you can enjoy the pool area specially if there are few guests.

We had a great stay. Good breakfast by the pool, huge room and bathroom with shower and bath. Definitely coming back. The location of the resort is bit far from Alona beach however it’s only 5-8 minutes by tuk tuk.

Our stay at Mithi Resort & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed with warm hospitality and seamless check-in. The room was spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, offering stunning views of the garden and beach. The amenities were top-notch, with a well-equipped fitness center, a relaxing spa, and a beautiful pool area. The food was delicious and we made our 1st wedding anniversary memorable. The hotel is not really big, all villas, 3 two-bedroom villas, and the rest are single rooms. The rooms are newly decorated, and the breakfast service is pretty good. The most outstanding thing is that there is a sunset bar extending into the sea, and there were many people watching the sunset that day. The hotel is not expensive, and it is considered a pleasant surprise hotel in my recent trips to Bohol Island.
