"The room was ok and the bedding was good. But I met a big cockroach in the bathroom, which was too appetizing. As a result, I complained to the front desk, and the front desk gave me an email to someone, but there was no reply. The service four stars are for those employees who work hard."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Excellent Stay I had a truly wonderful stay at Sofitel New York and would not hesitate to return. The hotel’s location is unbeatable — right in Midtown Manhattan, just a short walk from Times Square, Bryant Park, and Fifth Avenue. Despite being in such a lively area, the hotel feels calm, refined, and private, offering a perfect balance between convenience and relaxation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and well cared for. They helped me with my luggage, made check-in seamless, and were always attentive throughout my stay. When I was leaving, they even helped me get a cab, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I also really appreciated their flexibility. My plans changed unexpectedly, so I asked if I could have a late check-out. The normal check-out time is 11:00, but they kindly allowed me to stay until 13:00 without any issue. That thoughtful gesture really showed their excellent hospitality. Another small but meaningful detail was when they offered me a bottle of water so I could refill it at the water station on my floor. It’s such a simple act, but it really reflects how considerate and guest-focused the staff are. The room itself was spotless, cozy, and elegantly designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a lovely view of the city. The bathroom was spacious, with great lighting, high-quality amenities, and excellent water pressure. Everything was well maintained and felt luxurious without being over the top. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is sophisticated yet warm — classic French elegance blended perfectly with New York charm. The amenities were good overall, and with a few small additions, the experience would be absolutely flawless. Overall, my stay at Sofitel New York exceeded expectations in every way. The location, service, and comfort were all exceptional. The staff truly go above and beyond to make guests feel at home, and their kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression. I highly recommend Sofitel New York to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in the heart of Manhattan."

"Located on the 43th Street of Times Square near 7th Ave, the hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the subway, convenient for transportation, shopping and eating. The hotel has a small facade and is a typical traditional old hotel. The decoration is very tasteful, but the facilities are relatively old, especially the air conditioning. The old buildings in New York can only be installed with window air conditioners because of history and structure, so it is not recommended to mind the air conditioning noise. The hotel room is small and the extra bed is difficult. Breakfast is a typical light meal, the variety is monotonous, but the coffee is unexpectedly delicious. This characteristic hotel is small and exquisite, and people who like it will like it, but it is not recommended to choose a modern star hotel."

"Great value for money, just a 5-minute walk from the waterfall scenic area, and plenty of shops around the hotel. Although it's an older hotel with a design from over a decade ago, it's been recently renovated. Overall, it's pretty good; the bathroom fixtures are new, there's new carpeting, and no strange smells in the room. The bed is also comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient."

The hotel was in a great location, close to Main St., Saratoga Springs. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. It was very nice to wake up in the morning and open the curtain and see horses practicing on the track.

The room was very average, with old and outdated facilities. The towels were so stiff they could stand upright, and I have pictures to prove it. The security was very high. The hotel didn't offer breakfast, which was very disappointing. There was an older lady from Shanghai at the front desk who was very nice and made me feel very welcome! The bedside lamp in the room was broken and kept flickering, making it unusable!

My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I recently spent 3 memorable nights at Hotel Indigo New York Downtown Wall Street during our family trip to New York City, and it proved to be the perfect home base for exploring the city’s iconic Financial District and beyond. Nestled at the corner of Wall and Water Streets, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—just steps from the New York Stock Exchange, a 5-minute walk to the Wall Street subway station, and within easy reach of attractions like the 9/11 Memorial, South Street Seaport, and Brooklyn Bridge, which were all engaging for our curious little one. We booked a standard room with two queen beds, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable for our small family of three. The room was impeccably clean, featuring modern decor that blends classic charm with contemporary style, hardwood floors, and large noise-canceling windows that kept the busy city sounds at bay—a lifesaver for our son, who needs a quiet space to rest after long days of sightseeing. The plush bedding ensured we all slept soundly, and the room was well-equipped with plenty of USB charging ports and free Wi-Fi, which kept our son entertained with his tablet during downtime. We also appreciated the daily housekeeping and complimentary bottled water, small touches that made our stay more convenient. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the hotel was, even in the heart of the bustling Financial District. The staff was incredibly warm, patient, and attentive—they greeted our son by name after the first day and went out of their way to make him feel welcome. The lobby had a cozy lounge area with free Wi-Fi, where we could relax with our son before heading out, and there were convenient coffee stations for a quick pick-me-up in the morning. The hotel is also pet-friendly, though we didn’t bring our furry friend, it was nice to see the welcoming vibe extended to all families. The hotel’s amenities were perfectly suited for our family trip. The 24-hour fitness center allowed my wife and I to squeeze in a quick workout while our son napped, and the concierge was extremely helpful—recommending family-friendly restaurants nearby and helping us plan our itinerary to avoid crowds at popular attractions like the One World Observatory, where we even got a 25% discount card through the hotel. We also loved exploring the surrounding neighborhood on foot, with cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and the charming Tin Building just a short walk away. Overall, our stay at Hotel Indigo New York Downtown Wall Street was fantastic. The hotel’s prime location, comfortable and quiet rooms, thoughtful amenities, and warm, family-focused service made our New York City trip unforgettable. It’s the perfect choice for families traveling with young children who want to be in the heart of the action while still having a peaceful place to retreat. We highly recommend it and would definitely return on our next family trip to NYC.

I was really lucky to pick such a great hotel in New York this time. It's located in Manhattan's Financial District, super close to the 9/11 Memorial – probably just a 5-minute walk. The neighborhood has convenience stores, coffee shops, and several restaurants. Plus, multiple subway lines make it super easy to get to Midtown Manhattan or Brooklyn. Although the hotel's decor looks a bit dated, it's very well-maintained. The room interiors are comfortable, and some room types offer views of the Hudson River. On sunny days, waking up to that view made my morning every time.

The price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.

This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

Room was clean and the views were amazing (see photo of the view from our room)! Although it’s a slight distance from manhattan, but it’s worth it. Nearest metro station is across the street but there’s only stairs (something to note if you are carrying luggages!) but the hotel is a walking distance from other metro stations as well so travelling is an ease. Would recommend for those who are looking to stay at a good place in Brooklyn!
