Came to Shanghai for a holiday during the Chinese New Year, and stayed here for several nights because it's so close to all the places I wanted to visit. The breakfast was delicious 😋 and the views were great! After breakfast, I could even take a walk by the river. When the weather was nice, I was too lazy to go out, so I just sunbathed by the window and enjoyed the river view 🫡🫨. I really loved how the hotel designed those two handles to enclose the bathtub.

I pre-booked a corner room and the views were absolutely incredible, stretching from the city center all the way to Lujiazui. I loved watching the sunset glow and the interplay of light and shadow in the room as the sun rose – simply breathtaking! A big thank you to the front desk attendant, Terry, for arranging it, and to the lovely Anna for her meticulous attention to detail. The executive lounge was quiet, comfortable, and offered spectacular views. Dining there while enjoying the scenery was a truly delightful experience, and every staff member was wonderfully warm and attentive!

I wasn't going to write this, as the hotel staff were actually quite nice, but their unprofessionalism was just too much.

1) Starting at 11 PM, there was a persistent banging sound in my room. I asked housekeeping to check it out. They spent over half an hour, but the noise didn't stop, and I never got a response. I ended up running around the entire building in my bathrobe to find the source myself. It turned out to be renovations happening in the women's changing room downstairs at that late hour. When I finally found the front desk, they didn't immediately address it and asked me to wait for the manager (it was almost midnight, and I was very lightly dressed). The manager eventually arrived and communicated with the renovation crew, and finally, I could get some sleep. If I had waited for the hotel to resolve it, I probably wouldn't have gotten any rest.

2) As compensation, I negotiated with the hotel to waive the cost of one person's buffet dinner from the previous night (a 300 fee). I thought that was settled. However, when I checked my bill back home, the charge was an *additional* 300, not a deduction of 300.

3) The hotel pool is excellent, but it closes at 9 PM. I chatted with someone at the fitness center, and they said it's because there are fewer people after 9 PM, and they think it's a waste of electricity??? This is a JW Marriott, and it costs 1500 a night!

4) I'm not a Marriott Bonvoy member, so overall, it felt like I paid the most money but received the most basic amenities.

On the positive side, the hardware is generally good, the rooms are spacious, and the pool is very comfortable – these are all commendable aspects. The soft services, however, are simply beyond words.

My stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an truly showcased the delicate touch and warmth of a luxury hotel. The public areas boast an elegant and grand design, with a sophisticated and understated ambiance throughout. The room layout was meticulously thought out, and both the bedding and toiletries exuded quality. The cleanliness was impeccable, with not a single detail overlooked. From check-in to check-out, the service team was consistently poised, professional, and attentive. Every interaction was perfectly timed and thoughtful without being overbearing, truly making me feel at home. The location is excellent, offering convenient access to transportation, and both the amenities and atmosphere are top-notch. Whether for business or leisure, guests are guaranteed an exceptionally comfortable experience. The overall quality and service standards are consistently high, making this a truly impressive stay. It's definitely worth a special trip and I will certainly choose to stay here again.

This five-star hotel offers incredible value for money! The rooms are clean and tidy, with excellent facilities, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The price for a hotel of this caliber is surprisingly affordable, making it an absolute steal. The buffet breakfast is extensive and delicious. Its location is fantastic, right next to Uniwalk shopping mall, Bay Glory, and Bao'an Library, putting entertainment, dining, and shopping all within easy reach. I highly recommend staying at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Qianhai for a true five-star experience in both service and amenities.

The service was exceptional, right from the moment I stepped into the hotel. My initial anxiety quickly turned into warmth, relaxation, and happiness, all thanks to Malik's thoughtful service 🫶🏻. A perfect 10/10!

(Facilities:) This is one of the most luxurious hotels I've ever stayed in 👍🏻.

(Dining:) They offer a wide selection of Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and Western cuisines. The food is incredibly fresh, and the restaurant is spacious, though it can get very busy, sometimes requiring a wait.

It was a truly perfect stay. Next time I'm in Dubai, JW will definitely be my first choice. A special thank you to Malik for his outstanding service; he upgraded my room and arranged a late check-out for me. I'm incredibly satisfied with his service and will definitely seek him out again on my next visit ❤️❤️❤️.
