First, the service was unbelievably thoughtful: before my arrival, the host proactively contacted me with a super detailed route map and local guide. Upon arrival, they helped me carry my luggage upstairs and even prepared Zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival, along with welcome fruits. The room environment was impeccable: the decor was spot on. Breakfast wasn't an afterthought either; it featured exquisite dishes, plus freshly ground coffee available all day! Finally, I want to say: this place redefined the meaning of a 'B&B' for me—it's not just a place to sleep for a night, but a warm and comfortable experience, like visiting an old friend's home. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

"My child got great results in the college entrance exam, so I brought him to Guizhou for a summer road trip, and staying at this Guyu Inn in Libo Ancient Town was absolutely the best choice! It was quick and easy to get to Guyu Inn after picking up our rental car at the train station, and their free private parking lot is a huge plus! The room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed! Just a short walk away is the ancient town's food street, and there are even ethnic song and dance performances in the evening – it's a fantastic place to stay. It's also not far from the Xiaoqikong and Daqikong scenic areas, making it very convenient to drive to. The owner's service attitude was excellent; I accidentally left something behind at the inn, and after I contacted them, they immediately mailed it to me. In fact, they had also been trying to reach me, which I found incredibly touching! Next time I come to Libo, I will definitely stay at Guyu Inn again!"

"After staying in Ximen on the first night, I had to catch a bus from the East Gate bus station the next day, so I switched to a guesthouse in Dongmen. Dongmen is super lively with plenty of food and drink options, even McDonald's and KFC, haha! Felt like I was finally in the city. The guesthouse itself was lovely, with an elevator. It's about a 10-minute walk from Dongmen's main street, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have heavy luggage, as the owner doesn't offer any pick-up service. So, not the most convenient location. However, the room was great, and the service was excellent. When I arrived, the place was almost full, and they even upgraded my room!"

"Her home is very close to Libo Ancient Town, about a half-hour drive from Xiaoqikong. The shopkeeper was very welcoming, and the cat was even more so; it would rush over and lie down begging to be petted as soon as it saw people, making even someone like me who doesn't like cats quite like it. The shop was quite unique, but the facilities were just average."

"The room was very clean and tidy, comfortable and hygienic, the boss was very enthusiastic and the attitude was very good.
I didn’t like to live in a homestay before, I felt that the sanitation or bedding was too big, but this homestay changed in an instant. The pictures were exactly the same as the real ones. They were all big-name decorations. The mousse mattress was very comfortable. After the first day, I saw the clean environment and immediately set it for another night. It is highly recommended!"

The owner is very welcoming, the succulents at the entrance are thriving, and they even keep two small birds. Even though it's the off-season, the owner upgraded our room. The balcony has a beautiful view. The balcony also has a clothes rack and a place to relax. The breakfast selection isn't as extensive as chain restaurants, but the local specialty noodles are worth recommending."

"The homestay is clean, the rooms are large and the facilities are complete. The boss and his wife were very friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. They took the initiative to introduce us to tourist routes and the taxi driver they introduced charged a reasonable fee. The breakfast at the B&B had a wide variety of dishes and tasted light, which was suitable for the taste of the elderly. Knowing that the elderly were not used to the boxed lunches on the high-speed train, the proprietress gave us a few eggs for free to eat on the high-speed train. If I come to Libo again, I must stay at Miyeshanju."

Danica❤️Seriously can't recommend this hotel enough! The environment is great, very clean, and the breakfast is fantastic, especially the beef noodles – generous portions and delicious. The hotel's location is also superb, making it easy to get anywhere.
I really have to highlight the hotel's service; it was absolutely wonderful. They truly made us feel at home. (And no, I'm not a shill! This is my absolutely honest review!!)

Guest UserThis hidden gem of a guesthouse deserves a perfect five-star rating! The location is absolutely fantastic; open the window and you're greeted by endless rolling hills. The environment is wonderfully tranquil and serene, a complete escape from the city's hustle and bustle – it's incredibly therapeutic.
The Instagrammable spots in the courtyard are truly delightful. The pink heart installation is perfect for photos, and combined with the whimsical decor and local-themed ornaments, every shot turns out to be stunning and atmospheric. It's great for both couples and friends to enjoy. The courtyard's greenery is lush and well-maintained, the anti-corrosion wood pathways are clean and tidy, and the lounge areas are soft and comfortable. After exploring, sitting down to enjoy the breeze and the mountain and water views is incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation!

This time I came to Maolan Forest to play, and the homestay I booked completely exceeded expectations. It was definitely a surprise choice for this trip! First of all, the sanitary condition is particularly reassuring. The room is spotless, and the towels and toiletries are neatly arranged. It can be seen that the cleaning is very careful. It is really rare to be so clean in the mountains. The boss is very enthusiastic and really started to help me ask about carpooling and arrange the itinerary before I arrived. You can also eat freshly made farmhouse meals, and the taste is authentic. The boss will also arrange pick-up and drop-off when going to the attractions, and will also ask to drink local wine when eating. The most important thing is that the price is really affordable. This price can live in such a clean, service-friendly room in the scenic spot, and the price/performance ratio is directly full. The location is also convenient, not far from Qinglongtan and Wuyan Bridge, you can walk to the hiking entrance in a few minutes. Next time I come to Maolan, I will definitely stay here, I really recommend it to friends who come to play!

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement
I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs.
The Highlights:
The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue.
The Downsides:
However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived.
Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

wissy00I couldn't have asked for better. I was astonished by the service, cleanliness, friendliness, and treatment. All of this at an incredibly low price.
Communicating can be a bit complicated if you don't speak Chinese, as almost no one in this region speaks English. Fortunately, I had someone with me who could. The lovely lady treated us like her own grandchildren and insisted that we eat with her, letting us try typical local dishes. I truly felt at home.
As for the service itself, I was even more surprised. We stayed for two nights, and every day they cleaned the room, changed the towels, provided slippers, a new toothbrush, and a bottle of water. In the evening, she insisted on giving us fruit.
Regarding the location, it's very convenient, as it's just a 10-minute walk from the bus stop that takes you to the main attractions and also to the train station. As a foreign tourist, I highly recommend it!

We traveled during the off-season, and the hotel thoughtfully arranged pick-up and drop-off service, which was incredibly helpful for us traveling with a small child. Upon arrival, they even upgraded our room ❤️. My little one loved the rooftop pool and the nutritious breakfast – it was absolutely amazing! The hotel environment is superb and very photogenic. You can also experience ethnic costumes, herbal foot baths, and more. During peak season, they even offer plant printing, so it's really perfect for families with kids. Finally, and most importantly, the service from all the staff at the hotel was excellent! I'll definitely book here again on my next visit.

Our first stop on our Chinese New Year trip to Guizhou. The guesthouse was clean and hygienic, with free sugar oranges in the lobby. There's a charming little garden outside where my child loved playing on the swing. Our room was tidy and came with a smart toilet. On New Year's Eve, we could see fireworks filling the sky from our room, though my child had already fallen asleep. The owner helped us with our luggage, and his mother even made us minced pork noodles for breakfast. The first driver we met in Guizhou was very friendly, our first B&B was spotless, and our first meal was amazing. It was a wonderful start to our trip. Libo, we'll definitely come back if we get the chance!

The hostel was very comfortable. I would choose to stay here again if I come to Libo next time. The owner is also very nice. The location is near Libo Old Town. There is bus No. 10 that goes directly to the high-speed rail station.

Guest UserFacilities: It seems many guesthouses here don't have elevators, but this one does, so no need to carry heavy luggage up stairs, which is great! 😁😁 The smart toilet was also a pleasant surprise.
Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy, extremely satisfied.
Environment: There's a small courtyard with a beautiful bougainvillea archway. Lots of stars at night, and the windows offer views of distant mountains and water—a truly picturesque scene.
Service: The park was closed for the past two days, but the owner called us in advance to let us know, and we still came as planned. Since many shops were closed and we couldn't find anything to eat, the owner personally cooked noodles for us—super delicious! We loved it! We also got to enjoy some tea from the owner 😏 The owner even upgraded our room for free! We didn't see the Big and Small Seven Arches this time, but we'll definitely come back next time and stay here again!

Guest UserThe kid 小李 is really helpful. At first I was given a room that was at the adjacent tower and it was under renovation and dark hall ways and stairs. I asked if there was any room in the main block. After feeling disappointed for. While in the room, about 20 mins later, Xiao li informed me he spoke to his boss and gave me an upgraded room on the third floor and we moved. It was a far better well lit, big room with two double beds and good lighting. The only setbacks is that the shower drain is slow and water overflows back into the room. Hot shower was great. There’s no lift but xiao li was very eager to help me carry both my cases. He was just awesome with his willingness and customer service. Final the projector acreen over hangs the toilet and show cubicles and the power cables were loosely overhanging. Seemed that something can be done to rectify those few matters and will definitely make the room so so much better. Location wise is perfect and there is also the direct bus services to the city and the railway station, at very cheap price.
