Venice Hostels

"The location is fantastic, right near the Venice mainland train station. It's super convenient for getting to the island by train or bus. The room was very clean and tidy, and the overall environment was pleasant. There's also a bar on the ground floor where you can grab a drink and chat in the evenings."

"This is by far the hostel with the best facilities I've ever stayed in. It's spacious, new, clean, and tidy, both the individual rooms and the common areas! The kitchen is a bit small, but it has a very large dining area. I also saw quite a few Asian faces around. I stayed in a 7-bed dorm that was split into two sections, four on one side and three on the other, and it wasn't even fully booked. They have a self-service coffee machine and a huge study and internet area. While the room itself was excellent, one particular roommate I encountered here was the worst I've met on this trip. In hostels, people usually respect sleep schedules, but this person kept the lights on while others were sleeping and used the hairdryer constantly. I guess that might be a downside of having the bathroom inside the room. Dining was super convenient, especially with many cheap Chinese restaurants nearby. I highly recommend the small canteen; their rice cakes tasted exactly like the ones from Ningbo, absolutely delicious! Its location is directly opposite the train station, making it very easy to get to Venice's main island. I only stayed for one night, but if you have more time, you could definitely stay longer and explore the smaller islands around Venice."

"Even though it was on the main island of Venice, I booked it because it was cheaper than other hotels, and the room was very nice! It was also helpful that the staff showed me to my room when I checked in. ✨ The breakfast was also delicious, so I recommend it! However, I couldn't figure out where to turn on the light in the bathroom, and the shower area couldn't be locked, so if you're concerned about privacy, you might want to avoid it."

"Very good location. Especially close to the train station. They accepted the late check-in, and we felt very welcomed. There was small issue but they've done alot work for us to be happy and we satisfaied what they offered us. Special thank to John at the reception. He always smiles and take care of our family every morning when he was in duty. All staffs were very kind and helful with excellent service. Thank you all."

"Room and bathrooms were clean. Showers felt like not a lot of privacy offered with fogged glass separating you and everyone and everyone else in the bathroom. Common areas were fun and social. Location was not on main island Venice which meant it was challenging to get home during Italian transport strikes, with limited water bus services. Please be prepared in advance for this. Otherwise it might be more convenient to stay on main island Venice."
