"I stayed here for four nights having a bed in 6beds room hostel. Bed was clean and comfortable, the staff there was so friendly and polite.if you wanna stay in Old Phuket town in a hostel or single room .this place should be your first choice. The one thing I liked is the people stayed with me in my room was so well mannered.they never created any disturbances in these four days . Overall my experience there was good ."

"The small room is not very spacious. There are 2 bottles of drinking water provided, but there is no refrigerator. The bathroom is not very wide. There is a water heater provided. As for location, the accommodation is next to Bus terminal 1. It is very convenient and easy to take the bus to the airport. You can take the Airport Bus from this terminal. The accommodation is not far from the old town. You can easily walk for about 10 minutes. Close to restaurants and banks. Overall, it is considered worth the price 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"The hotel staff is not very friendly, the rooms are quite cozy, the bed is very hard and wrapped in cellophane, which is uncomfortable. You can book for two nights, but I would not recommend for more. Opposite the hotel, another hotel is being renovated, they start drilling from the very morning, making noise, it is impossible to sleep. The construction will wake you up at about 7 am. Also, on the first floor of the hotel there are two workstations, convenient if you need to work on your laptop (photo of the work area is uploaded)"

"A great place for backpackers! Location-wise it’s pretty good right in front of the hotel there are plenty of food vendors, and it’s also close to most of the cafes in Old Town Phuket. The hotel even provides board games, which was fun to play with my plus one."

"Even if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature). While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order. But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny. Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.” After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime. This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol. I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high? In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out. I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average. P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information."

"It's very convenient to have an elevator, and I have many international friends. There is also a small cabinet, but you just need to buy a lock yourself"

"Well, the hotel location was convenient, there's a spot to park your bike, 24 h access with the card felt safe and I don't mind taking stairs to the third floor. The only issue we had was the toilet, as we were afraid every time it would get stuck. The administration reacted quickly and helped us with it, but still we were concerned that later it could happen again as the water was filling up to the top of it, hope the owners can improve this point. Overall, there may be places with a better price/quality ratio, felt like it could be better. Thank you!"

"Lows staying at this hostel. Checked in after 10pm but was given instructions on how to do it safely. They provide bed cover, pillow, towel, shampoo and body wash. The body wash smells sooo good. The hostel has a peaceful vibe as well, and has a pool outside. Unfortunately due to the time I came, I didn’t use it. Very close to the airport, but remember to walk in the direction of the international airport to go to the hostel. You can also take a motorcycle (38 Baht) or taxi. There’s a 7/11 close by, probably 3-5 minutes walk. Would recommend before a flight! Also, as soon as I came the lady from the Snug Hotel helped me so much. Gave me a nice red drink, and a water bottle. The check in process was very easy. Would definitely come back again"

"Great location next to bus terminal 1, and close to town. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. The room had a fridge but no kettle (but there is hot water available in reception). The staff were very helpful. Free coffee in the morning. All at a very good price. Great value for money. I highly recommend."
