"Our stay in the ancient town was absolutely perfect! The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming and, for a small fee, upgraded us to a river-view room, which had an absolutely breathtaking view. The location was also super convenient for exploring other attractions. The nighttime scenery from our window was especially captivating. What's even more impressive is the owner's freshly ground coffee – it tasted amazing! I'll definitely choose this place again when I bring my family next time. "I had a lovely stay at this hotel. In the beginning. I was not sure if my stay there would be successful due to the language barrier. The hotel has kindly communicated with me using the wechat, which has a translation tool, to communicate with me in English. Upon arrival, a very kind lady has helped me to carry my heavy suitcases, and tried to explain about the breakfast time and hotel very patiently and very kindly. I did not feel the barrier of language. When I stayed, there was a very kind hotel guest who helped me in translation. She has kindly accompanied me for breakfast and showed me around the town. The hotel is located just off the main street. So if you do not speak the language, I recommend you book a taxi from trip.com and communicate with the driver in advance to help you to guide the way. Anyway, it is just a few seconds from the road. The hotel is well located and it is a pleasant walk towards the more lively area of this ancient town. The breakfast must be tried with an authentic breakfast. I stopped at this town and inn for my transit reason. I really wish to come back again because I literally stayed only one night to catch the flight the next day, but I wanted to experience something closer to local history and culture. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the amenity service was perfect. I already feel a great nostalgia for this place, and I would definitely choose this place next time again when I return to my home in Japan as transit. If possible, try to stay there at least two nights to feel the town and enjoy the unique characteristics of these beautiful historical heritage buildings"

"The environment is newly renovated and very suitable for young people. The lobby atmosphere is also great, where everyone can eat, drink, and share work and daily life. I must praise the cleanliness; it truly is a fresh setup for every guest, and all the linens are disinfected and individually packaged, clean and tidy. For just a few tens of yuan per person, staying in such a great hostel near the Shanghai Exhibition Center is a real surprise. The front desk service is also exceptionally warm and welcoming."

"A very satisfying trip! Since it wasn't a peak holiday season, we were the only guests, practically receiving VIP service – we had the entire back garden to ourselves! Excellent value for money. It was early autumn, and strolling around the hotel in the mornings and evenings was very pleasant. We stayed in the Xinggu Family Room. The tatami mat was perfect for our toddler who was just learning to sit and crawl; he had a blast playing there, and we didn't have to worry about him falling and getting hurt. It also solved the sleeping problem perfectly, since the bed was only 1.5 meters wide, which wasn't suitable for two adults and one child. In the end, Dad slept on the tatami mat without a mattress! 🤣 The only downside of Xinggu is that the roof is sloping, so some places are difficult to stand upright in. The welcome fruit and minibar were plentiful; we didn't even finish them! 🤣 Dinner was a simple meal; you can tell the butler in advance if you want something different. The price was reasonable, and the food was delicious. The restaurant provides high chairs for babies, which was very convenient. The hotel has two cats running around in their own back garden, accompanied by sheep and rabbits – they're living the dream! The hotel's location is quite remote, nestled in a rural area surrounded by self-built houses, with limited entertainment options. But that's exactly what I liked; it's perfect for a quiet stay with my baby. I'd love to come back with friends sometime, camping and barbecuing on the lawn at night – wonderful!"

"The room is relatively small and a bit old, but it has everything you need. At this price, you don't want to buy a bicycle in Shanghai. The boss is a very young man with a very good attitude! I'm taking my kids to Disneyland, and I picked a cheap one just for two nights. It's very cost-effective, so I couldn't buy anything better with the money I saved. It takes about 15 minutes to walk there by Yuqiao subway. It is recommended to check for the yellow car when you get out of the subway. It is more convenient. Four stops away from Disneyland. Very convenient. Compared to hotels that are hundreds of times larger, this one is very affordable. When you go out to play, you basically go out in the morning and come back at night to sleep. It’s suitable for budget travellers. If you’re rich, just pretend I didn’t say that."
