It's not far from the bus transfer station. It takes less than ten minutes. Buses to Huangshan South Gate, Xidi and Nanping are very convenient. Antique little yard, very cost-effective. The boss also has a Wheatfield Coffee, which is a unique place where you can drink coffee and relax in the sun. The coffee shop also has a little stray dog ​​that was taken in by the owner. His left eye is broken. I hope that the puppy will thrive under the loving care of the owner and the store staff. When I come next year, I hope the puppy will still be there❤️"

"We used this as a base to get around different scenic areas. It was close to the west parking lot of Hongcun, where several buses can take you to different places, including the Huangshan Scenic Area. The hotel was tastefully decorated and most distinctively, it had a movie lounge and a tea appreciation area. Make use of the hotel's golf cart service to get to the west parking lot and back. There were afternoon snacks provided and they varied each day. The only downside was probably the lack of shops within a 200m radius."

"The inn is not far from the South Gate entrance, less than a five-minute walk. The proprietress came to pick me up, mainly using a luggage cart to haul my luggage. The room was spacious and clean, with a large, comfortable bed. I could sit in it and enjoy the view from the window. The electric water heater was perfect for showering alone. It was very quiet at night. The proprietress told me I could go to the rooftop terrace for a view. I went up there in the morning and saw the tranquility of a Jiangnan village. When I left, the proprietress's family was having lunch. He didn't even finish his meal before he drove me to the shuttle bus stop on his tuk-tuk (not the South Gate entrance; it's a bit further away, so the tuk-tuk took a few minutes). When I arrived at the bus stop, I met someone who was sharing a ride, and he reminded me to ask the price first. He was such a nice guy."

"The property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!"

"Very nice homestay. Neat, clean, aesthetically pleasing and warm service. The temperature dropped when we arrived, so the boss turned on the indoor floor heating in advance, and the house was warm as soon as we entered. The room is not only clean and warm, but also has a Dyson hair dryer, horse oil toiletries, clean and dry bedding, and disposable bathtub covers. Every detail is very well thought out. A very spacious public space is reserved, with a different view at every step. It can be said that this place itself is an aesthetic space, where you can sit here drinking tea and daydreaming for an entire afternoon. It was raining and the temperature dropped, so the boss lit a charcoal stove. It was windy and rainy outside, but people sat around the stove drinking tea and chatting. The value of this was simply off the charts. The food and beverage is also great. The breakfast is rich and delicious, needless to say. We also asked the proprietress to arrange our lunch and dinner here. There are all kinds of specialties and seasonal dishes, which are clean and delicious. Very satisfied with the journey, perfect."

"The location is right in the alley opposite the entrance of Hongcun Old Village (where the two big trees are). It's super convenient with lots of food options on the street. The owner is a local and very welcoming. We were a bit rushed; I really wish we had more time to explore the villages near Hongcun!"

"The Pig’s Inn is a very cozy place that makes you feel like home. Bishan village is far away from the city so I asked the hotel for help with taxi arrangement. Manager Fang Xin (方鑫) gave me the contact to the driver who was always on time and gave me lots of tips about hiking up mount Huang. The room in the hotel was really clean and warm regardless of the very cold weather outside. The hotel staff is super nice, they waited for us with dinner till really late. As my family is really picky when it comes to food Pig’s Inn was a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast as they made all the dishes according to the needs of my family. In the evening there was a huge spider in our room (came there suddenly), the nice woman form the hotel helped us to remove it from the room. Everything was perfect and our trip was really nice thanks to the Pig’s Inn ☺️"
