I loved my first stay at Ji Hotel Vientiane Mekong Riverside so much that I had to come back—and I am happy to report that it is just as perfect the second time around!
Returning to a hotel can sometimes be risky, but Ji Hotel continues to deliver top-tier quality across the board.

The staff welcomed me back with the same incredible kindness and warmth that stood out during my first visit. The hospitality here is genuinely unmatched.
The Perfect Room:
Once again, my room is spotlessly clean, modern, and spacious. Falling asleep in the incredibly comfortable bed and waking up to those panoramic views of the Mekong River from the private balcony never gets old.
Unbeatable Value & Amenities:
Between the gorgeous rooftop pool, the fantastic fitness center, and the ultra-convenient self-service laundry, you simply cannot beat what you get for the price. It remains an absolute steal.
If you are visiting Vientiane, don't look anywhere else. My repeat stay confirms it: Ji Hotel is consistent, beautiful, and the best value in the city. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Your hotel truly offers exceptional value for money, and I was especially impressed by the outstanding service provided by your lobby manager, Ms. Gao. Her professionalism and kindness made a lasting impression . On the day of our arrival, our flight landed very early at 8:00 AM. We were pleasantly surprised and deeply grateful that she arranged an early check-in for us and even allowed us to enjoy breakfast at the restaurant. Such thoughtful and generous service is truly rare.
During the Lao New Year, the music outside was quite loud at night. Ms. Gao repeatedly apologized for the noise, even though it was completely beyond her control. We fully understand that this is part of the festive atmosphere, and her sincerity was greatly appreciated.
Additionally, when we did not have enough local currency, she kindly assisted us in exchanging money at a very reasonable rate, which made things much easier for us.
On the second day, there was a citywide power outage due to a local fire. Despite the inconvenience, Ms. Gao went above and beyond—she even stood by with a flashlight in the restroom area to assist while we finished breakfast. We were still able to enjoy freshly prepared food, including noodle soup, fried rice, and salad. Given the price, this level of service was truly exceptional.
The room itself was also excellent—everything was new, modern, and thoughtfully designed. I would especially like to commend the fully automatic bathroom facilities, which were a delightful touch.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our stay. The level of care, attention, and hospitality we received over these two days was outstanding.
Thank you once again for such a memorable experience. We will certainly recommend your hotel to others and look forward to staying with you again in the future.

NNibbler IA solid little stay: nothing flashy, but it delivers where it counts. The room is clean, bright, and quiet, with TV, AC, a hairdryer, a fridge, water and toiletries included. Staff are friendly and easy to deal with.
Breakfast is simple: eggs, toast and coffee/tea. Not a buffet spread, but a nice enough start to the day. The bus station is around a 12-minute walk.
A few things to note: there's no elevator and the stairs are quite steep, checkout is at 11:00, and the pillows are a bit flat. Not major issues, but good to know.
Overall, good value for the price. Would recommend for travellers who just need a clean, quiet room without any fuss

Every visit, the service and ambiance are consistently excellent, just as I remember them. The rooms are clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff are also very welcoming and always quick to assist with any issues, which is really reassuring. Overall, the quality of service at this hotel has always been great, which is why I keep choosing to stay here.

JJackyangThis was my first time staying at this hotel for a business trip to Laos, and overall, it was quite good. They offer breakfast, a swimming pool, and a gym, and the rooms meet a good standard. What really stood out was the great, affordable price. However, the only frustrating thing was the daily behavior of some domestic tourists from the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions. Seriously, they were incredibly [censored word - likely 'rude' or 'noisy']. Every morning, around 6 AM, they'd be loudly shouting and making noise in the hallway. Their lack of etiquette was truly appalling. At the restaurant, they acted as if they hadn't eaten in 800 years, afraid others would eat too much and take advantage of them, yelling and running around. Drinks and soup were spilled all over the floor, and they wasted a lot of food and beverages. No wonder people abroad dislike Chinese tourists; with this level of behavior, even I find it unbearable.

Wwave.npkOverall the hotel is okay, but the air conditioning in my room was not cool at all. I turned it on at 16°C from 6pm until 10pm and it was still not cool. I called the reception several times and they didn't answer. I had to go down and ask them to come and look. When the staff came up to look, they said they would change the room for me, which was very late and I didn't want to waste time packing my bags and moving rooms, so I didn't change rooms. However, I think that a hotel of this level should check the readiness of the room before letting customers stay. The Wi-Fi is also quite slow. Personally, I am not very impressed with the price I paid.

It's super close to the scenic area, and parking is convenient, making it easy to come and go. Overall, it's a very comfortable stay. They have an outdoor pool and a gym, which I used daily for my workout before going for a swim.
