"Stayed with my family during Chinese New Year. We booked a club suite and a club king room. The rooms were a bit dated but generally well-maintained. The club rooms come with executive lounge access. The light meals are served in the lobby on the first floor, and while the selection wasn't huge, it was convenient. We had a butler who added us on WeChat, recommended some local attractions and activities, and helped arrange transportation, showing good service. If you're bringing kids for skiing in winter, definitely book a coach in advance via the mini-program."

"The hotel is not far from the visitor center. The facilities, environment, service, and cleanliness are all good. Guests enjoy free access to the hot springs. There is a large parking lot, making it ideal for those driving. The only downside is that the breakfast is a bit simple."

"Great experience at Swissôtel Changbaishan! The service was incredible from start to finish. We were able to check into our room immediately upon arrival at 11am and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade — from a standard queen room to a spacious suite with a separate living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. A fantastic way to start the trip. The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, offering almost round-the-clock support via WeChat with very quick replies. The built-in translation feature made communication smooth and easy, which we really appreciated. The location itself is beautiful. The European-inspired architecture and charming walking street genuinely make it feel like a small Swiss mountain town — aside from the many Chinese restaurants, of course. It’s a very scenic and relaxing environment. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, including a standard Western/English breakfast along with plenty of Chinese and ASEAN dishes. Something for everyone. The ski center and slopes are just a short walk away, which is very convenient. Do note that this area mainly offers green and blue runs, the mountain is relatively small and doesn’t have more challenging slopes. It’s perfect for beginners or those looking to practice, but advanced skiers may find it limited. We arrived toward the end of the season, so the snow was starting to melt. However, the slopes were still very well maintained, smooth and surprisingly free of icy patches. Ski rentals are available at the ski center. Basic skis and equipment are included free of charge, while gloves and goggles can be rented for a small fee. After skiing, we visited the spa at Club Med, which was included in the room rate. The facility was surprisingly large, featuring outdoor hot springs (onsen-style pools), saunas, steam rooms, and massage services, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great destination for a relaxed ski getaway."

"We originally planned to stay for just 3 nights, but ended up extending our stay to 6 — and a big part of that was thanks to the amazing hospitality from the manager, Mr Zhang Meng Xu. Zhang was incredibly responsive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. What really made the difference was how he took the time to introduce us to many attractions, activities, foods, and interesting things to do around the area. His recommendations made the trip far more enjoyable and helped us discover places, foods we probably would have missed otherwise. Because of his helpful guidance and the welcoming atmosphere, extending our stay felt like an easy decision. Truly appreciate the great service and hospitality. Highly recommended"

"My stay at Jinhua Resort was exceptionally pleasant overall. The hotel grounds are elegant and tranquil, with a wide variety of public leisure areas. Our dedicated butler, Haha, provided attentive service throughout, proactively assisting with everything from check-in to arranging our activities. She was always on hand to help with any issues, offering kind and thoughtful service. This level of meticulous care truly warmed our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to stay here; the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be returning to Jinhua for my next vacation."

"The room has a very traditional Chinese style, and the service is exceptionally thoughtful. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and the soundproofing is superb, allowing me to enjoy the tranquility my vacation deserved. They even sent an ice bucket to the room in the evenings, perfect for a nightcap after a day of exploring. The hotel added me on WeChat beforehand, and the butler was able to provide timely and very attentive service. The parking is free, and there's a direct elevator to the hotel, so the amenities are quite good. The hotel's restaurant is fantastic. I usually struggle with new cuisines, but the food here was excellent and perfectly suited my taste. It offered local specialties while also being palatable for someone from the south. The breakfast, especially, was outstanding, and the wontons were delicious. Finally, a special thanks to the duty manager, Joy. She was incredibly patient with every guest, providing a lot of help during my two-night stay and answering many of my questions about exploring the resort. When our car tire went flat after checking out, Joy even recommended a nearby repair shop that was very fair and reasonably priced. The service at Park Hyatt truly demonstrated the professionalism expected of hotel staff; their dedication didn't waver even after we checked out. They genuinely care about ensuring every aspect of your trip is safe and smooth."

"Changbaishan Wanda Realm Hotel Review The Wanda Realm Changbaishan is an excellent choice within the resort area, particularly for its ski-friendly features and outstanding value for money. It offers a well-rounded and hassle-free experience, making it ideal for families and ski enthusiasts alike. The hotel is centrally located within the Wanda Resort, with the ski slopes just a short walk away. Its back exit from the restaurant leads directly to the Haidongqing Ski Service Center, meaning no long queues for ski rentals or returns. The equipment is relatively new, and the flow is smooth, which is great for both beginners and advanced skiers. It's also close to the Dragon Cable Car, providing access to multiple runs once you reach the top, offering a fantastic ski-in/ski-out experience. The airport is about a 25-minute drive, and the hotel provides scheduled shuttle services, accommodating even late-night flights, making travel very convenient. The guest rooms are simple yet practical, with a moderate amount of space. The heating is ample, and hot water is consistent. The bedding is comfortable, and both soundproofing and cleanliness are top-notch. Some rooms offer views of the snow-covered mountains, providing a wonderful winter ambiance. There's also a NITRO co-branded floor with distinct ski elements, which younger guests will appreciate. Amenities include a gym and self-service laundry. The front desk service is responsive, and the staff are warm and attentive, promptly resolving any issues. The overall service is thoughtful. The 'Yue' Restaurant offers a rich and varied buffet breakfast, combining Chinese and Western options with plenty of hot food to refuel after skiing. For other meals, you can order authentic Northeastern specialty dishes, which are delicious and offer good value. Packages often include ski passes, hot springs, and water park access, making it a very cost-effective option for a one-stop vacation. On the downside, the rooms aren't particularly large, so multiple pieces of luggage might feel a bit cramped. Also, the resort's shuttle bus schedule is fixed, and you might have to wait during peak hours. Overall, these minor drawbacks don't detract from the experience. The location, convenience for skiing, service, and value for money are all exceptional. It's a foolproof choice for a winter vacation in Changbaishan, highly recommended for skiers, families, and leisure travelers."

"To catch a glimpse of the beautiful Heavenly Lake, I changed my itinerary and chose to stay here so I could go up the mountain first thing in the morning. It's a 5-minute walk from the West Slope Tourist Distribution Center. The lobby is bright and spacious, and the front desk staff were very helpful, answering all my questions. There's also a small convenience store where you can buy snacks. It seems there are two elevators, one for the hot springs and one for guest rooms. The room was quite large, the air conditioning was good, and the bed was comfortable with large, soft pillows, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, no strange odors, and plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfast offered a good variety, and the taste was decent. There's a supermarket next to the lobby if you need to buy anything small. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from the high-speed rail station and 5-10 minutes from the town, so transportation is very convenient. "This hotel is in an excellent location, just a few hundred meters from the Wanda Resort, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and beautiful scenery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always smiling with a warm, honest expression. Their travel itinerary suggestions are exceptionally professional; they planned our three-day trip perfectly, ensuring we saw everything without feeling rushed or tired. It truly felt like coming home, and it significantly improved my impression of Northeast China. Definitely a full-mark recommendation!"

"Choosing the Panaroma Hotel for this trip was definitely the right decision! The views are absolutely stunning, arguably the best in the area, and we loved the outdoor hot spring baths. Soaking in the outdoor bath surrounded by snow was an absolutely amazing experience! The hotel is also very kind and welcoming to the local cats, especially the big orange tabby. If you happen to see him, be sure to say hello! A special shout-out to Coco for being so warm and attentive; her service was outstanding! We felt right at home. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!"
