"I highly recommend this place!! You can get from Zhongwei Station to the entrance by taxi or DD Taxi. I was able to sleep in a tent in the middle of the desert for a very affordable price. As it was the entrance to the Tengri Desert, I could see the beautiful desert landscape. If you wanted, you could go camel riding or do other activities, but they only provided information; the final choice was up to you. The tent was well-equipped with clean beds and bedding. Since temperatures drop sharply in the desert at dawn, the bedding had an electric blanket, so I was able to sleep warmly. The staff were exceptionally kind, and even though I couldn't speak a word of Chinese, I was able to communicate comfortably via WeChat and enjoy the desert at a very low price.
