Pet friendly Hotels in Hekou

"Clean and comfortable for its price. Good hot shower. Convenient location not far from the border with Vietnam and very short drive away from the main bus station. There are many shops, restaurants, big supermarket, park and a lovely river promenade all around the hotel. Excellent efficient staff. The young lady at the desk answered all my questions, helped with directions, transport and even explained to the taxi driver where to take me. For me as a foreigner just having arrived to a new country, that service alone deserves the highest rating. Thank you!"

"It's a decent hotel. Simple and inexpensive, but it has all the basic necessities. It's very close to the border and next to a street with plenty of restaurants. The only problem I see is for people who aren't in good physical condition or elderly people, as it doesn't have an elevator and has six floors. This wasn't a problem for us, but it might be a good indicator for others."

"The beds and other amenities were clean, but the hotel felt a little old. I was planning to fly to Vietnam the next morning, so it was convenient that the hotel was only a 30-minute walk from the border. One of the panels in the shower room's ceiling was missing, which made me a little scared that something might fall, but other than that, the facilities were reasonably priced. I had requested a 7am check-out, but no one was there, so I left my key there and checked out, which bothered me a little."

"The room is nice. The Wi-Fi is slow. Hot water is not available. The air conditioning is difficult to understand. The bathroom is spacious but not heated. The reception staff is very good at translation. The staff is friendly. There is an elevator. It's quiet and well-located. It's a shame that people smoke in public areas such as the elevator and hallways."

"The five-star praise is for the boss. The service is enthusiastic. The child's phone and watch were forgotten and were left at the front desk for us. The hotel is very close to the port, but the room facilities are a bit older. I just went to check in, so I can stay here for a while."

"The room and bathroom are quite large. The WiFi works well. The remote control does not seem to be the one intended for the television. There is a kettle and we are provided with bottles of water. There is also a water bottle in the hallway. My room was cleaned quickly because there were traces left at the exit of the bathroom. You have to be athletic because my room is on the 6th floor without an elevator. It is difficult to talk to the staff who only speak Chinese even with the translation tools. But for the price it is really very good."

"The address is located next to the intersection. It is a bed room. When you look at it, pay attention to it. But the hygiene is very clean and there is no smell. The boss is polite. The price is very cheap because no one else stays. It is equivalent to living in a standard room."

"優點：酒店位置明顯，就在越南城一進門右邊，前台熱情，辦理入住快，房間乾淨整潔，設施齊全，衞生間洗澡水大，雖然沒有乾濕分離，但是下水快，不積水，毛巾柔軟，床軟硬適中，空調和電視正常使用，還有曬衣服架子。 缺點：馬桶圈有點舊了，沒有紗窗。"

"Good location of Hekou town area where platform’s hostels are mostly located here. Restaurants, cafe, eateries, mini markets, all least 20+outlets are within 1-5mins walk. Hotel unit is of good wifi signal, hot water shower, clean sheets, water boiler for coffee, drinking water dispenser and cable tv for movie choices, perfect for good rest in this Hekou Boarder Town. Safe choice for Solo female backpacker. Highly recommend! P/s: this hotel is the 3rd move in for me within 18 hours with help from trip.com, personally thinks this hotel is great for global backpackers and totally value for money and I’ve extended a night stay to 3 nights to recuperate from traumatised experience of previous lodgings."
