"The location is excellent: within walking distance of the metro station and the ancient wall, the Bell Tower can be reached on foot too if you don’t mind a little stretch. The owner is super responsive via text. Price is honestly too cheap for this location. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Multiple convenience stores just off the elevator on ground level. The only downside is that the apartment is a little hard to find. We called the owner and he came down to take us to the room. I would recommend arriving during daytime hours for this reason. Owner is super helpful. Will definitely stay again next time I visit Xi’an."

"I chose this hotel because of a single photo, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Usually, pet-friendly hotels tend to have some minor cleanliness issues, and I'm quite prone to allergies. However, once I got to my room, I realized my worries were unfounded; I stayed for three days with absolutely no reactions. Secondly, although the front desk isn't 24-hour, the regularly updated access codes and the incredibly thoughtful butler-style service perfectly address any concerns about safety and service quality in a busy area. I also really liked the food street downstairs – it had everything, was clean, and delicious. I had many conversations with the butler about animals and food; I just enjoyed chatting with her whenever I had a moment. Finally, the cats at the hotel are adorable. Little Ear is the shyest, and Liu Liu is the most affectionate, but personally, I'm most fond of the adorable face of the little butler. If we visit Xi'an again and you're still around, we'll definitely head straight for your hotel without considering anywhere else."

"Fantastic, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very clean, very pretty, and very carefully decorated. The room is very comfortable, the bed is perfect, with air conditioning and a smart toilet. They have taken great care with every detail, offering toiletries and even hair conditioner. We loved it. The breakfast was very well presented, but a little sparse (too much bread), the only thing that could be improved."

"I was quite astonished by the welcoming gift from the esteemed Mr. Wang while I was having breakfast. His fluent English greatly assisted me during my stay at the hotel. "The hotel is in a good location, close to the Tang Dynasty City that Never Sleeps and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. I am particularly satisfied with the breakfast, which has a wide variety, a good environment, and good taste. The front desk service is warm and considerate. As soon as I entered the store, the girl warmly greeted me and helped me with my luggage, and then handed me wet wipes and sour plum soup. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The waiter's service was good, and he folded the scattered clothes neatly during cleaning. The only drawback was that there were outsiders who were not customers occupying the elevator for too long, which resulted in us not being able to get into the elevator when we left the hotel. We waited for several times but it was full. Finally, we finally got into the employee elevator and got off, which affected our satisfaction with the hotel."

"This accommodation is something very special. If you like contact and tips from locals, this is the place for you. You Can also taste local tea. The rooms are very nicely decorated and I had the best sleep in a long time. High quality beds and pillows! Hot water comes quickly in the shower with pleasant water pressure. The location is also great if you want to see the Terracotta Warriors. The Huaqing Palace Park and its show is highly recommended. You can reach it by foot."

"This is a difficult review to write. There’s a lot I like about Joke Inn - it’s in a cool location, the room was nice,and the staff are friendly. And I should mention - I don’t have experience with the inner, courtyard facing rooms - this is just about street-facing rooms…. I saw the reviews talking about noise and figured it was just normal street noise - which as a New Yorker I’m fine with. But what we experienced was FAR beyond regular street noise. We had a room facing the street (and the Xi’an city wall) and the issue is that there are two live music venues on the ground floor that compete by blasting the music - which bounces off the city wall into the room. The music goes until 2am every night (not just weekends). The earplugs they give you don’t even begin to be enough. After getting just 4 hours of sleep the first night I managed the next 3 nights by taking a sleeping pill and wearing huge uncomfortable noise canceling headphones. That should never be necessary in a hotel. So the bottom line in my opinion is the owners need to figure out if they’re in the entertainment business or the hotel business because the two don’t mix - at least not for the street-facing rooms."

"I chose the Four Points by Sheraton Big Wild Goose Pagoda for my trip to Xi'an, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I have to give it a rave review! First, the location is incredible! It's right next to the subway station, making it a ten-minute walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Tang Dynasty City, making it incredibly convenient for a stroll back home after enjoying the night view. Second, the hotel's service was truly warm and welcoming. The front desk staff was efficient and welcoming at check-in. Seeing us with our luggage, they proactively greeted us and directed us to the elevator. Since we'd communicated our needs in advance, they thoughtfully arranged a room on a high floor, a relatively quiet area. Every time we entered or exited the hotel, the staff greeted us with a smile—those details are a real plus. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, with a fantastic view! The layout was well-organized, and not at all cramped. The bedding was the standard Sheraton mattress, comfortable. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, hot water flowed quickly, and the toiletries were excellent. The most surprising thing was the view of the city from the window."

"A very happy accommodation experience The store owner's brother and sister-in-law are very hospitable. We watched the performance of Song of Everlasting Regret at 9:05 pm, and the store owner's brother sent us to the entrance of Song of Everlasting Regret to pick up the tickets. The next day, I wanted to take a taxi to the Terracotta Warriors, and the brother took the initiative to send us to the Terracotta Warriors ticket gate The brother and sister-in-law were very enthusiastic and gave us hand-painted fans that they painted by themselves.
