"The room was decent. My only complaint was that the air conditioning temperature couldn't be adjusted. It was already hot outside, but the room was stuck at a chilly 21℃, creating a drastic 20-degree difference. I ended up shivering after stepping out of the shower at night. Even setting the thermostat to 25℃ made no difference at all."

"Absolutely gorgeous hotel!!! We were given the apartment on the 27th floor and we thoroughly enjoyed the views. The hotel got its own mall, where they had saloon, cafe, Japanese and continental restaurants, clothing, mobile shops, supermarket and a stunning ice skating rink. Gold souk market is nearby. With Train Station nearby(few minutes walk to the station), easily navigate to the places around and cabs always flooded in this hotel for cozy users. Our apartment was quite old but perfectly renowned and maintained. I would definitely recommend anyone(specially families)"

The rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully modern, and incredibly comfortable — we genuinely had the best night’s sleep. "The hotel is located right in the heart of Souk Al Seef, with guest rooms spread across the surrounding buildings. Electric buggy service is available to take guests to/from their rooms or to the nearby sister property, Canopy, where the gym and swimming pool are located. The surrounding offers plenty of shops, cafés, and easy access to boat rides across the creek to the Gold Souk and Spice Souk, making the location extremely convenient. From the electric buggy drivers and receptionists to housekeepers, F&B staffs, and even the engineering team, every staff member demonstrated exceptional professionalism and warm hospitality. We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Akbar provides the warmest hospitality. Breakfast is highly recommended. The selection is fairly extensive and the quality is very good. During peak season, it is advisable to arrive early to avoid crowds. There is a terrace on the third floor, and sitting there in the evening in January was very relaxing. It offered beautiful views of the opposite shore, the busy boat traffic along Dubai Creek, and planes taking off from Dubai International Airport. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was extremely clean and full of characters, reflecting the charm of Dubai’s historic district. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The room lighting was quite dim. My room was located above the Starbucks, and there were many people taking photos late at night and early in the morning, so soundproofing could be improved. The hairdryer could not be used in the bathroom and had to be plugged in inside the room due to the outlet configuration. The drawer-style refrigerator had no cooling effect at all. The TV remote control did not function properly—it could only turn the TV on and off, with no function to change channels or adjust the volume. The shower water pressure was weak, and the hot water temperature fluctuated frequently. Aside from these issues, everything else was excellent. I really enjoyed the hotel’s overall style and found the stay very comfortable. If the points mentioned above can be adjusted, I believe the overall guest experience would be significantly enhanced."

The resort is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning views of the Palm. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort, making my stay truly relaxing. The dining options are exceptional, with a wide variety of restaurants serving delicious cuisines from around the world. The breakfast spread was outstanding, full of fresh and high-quality choices. The spa and wellness facilities are world-class, offering a sense of peace and rejuvenation. What truly stood out was the exceptional service – every staff member was attentive, professional, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a memorable experience. Whether by the pool, on the beach, or at the restaurants, the hospitality was flawless. Sofitel The Palm is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and tranquility. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai and will definitely be returning on my next trip."

"Hotel facilities were excellent and the service throughout was impeccable. We really enjoyed the food as we are fans of Indian cuisine, as well as the other plentiful options at breakfast. The pool table and darts board in the roaring rabbit were slightly dated but still good fun. While the location itself was excellent, getting to and from the hotel was not straight forward when visiting other parts of Dubai; while the shuttles to the mall during the day are very useful you need a taxi to get back late at night which isn’t always practical. Perhaps the hotels on the palm could arrange a late night bus service. Overall an absolutely incredible stay, with amazing hospitality and service throughout from absolutely all the staff. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at and look forward to visiting again."

"Me and my wife arrived at the hotel, after booking for two nights for a Dubai staycation. When we checked in, Mr. Gerard warmly greeted us and after he found out that it's the first time to visit V hotel, he offered us a room upgrade. And boy, was it an upgrade... we got one of the premium rooms towards the pool side. The room was huge, and really cool and futuristic looking. At night it was very quiet and we did have an excellent sleep. Breakfast was great, a lot of variety for the food. Kudos to the chef who custom made my omlette order, it turned our exactly how I wanted it. We went to the pool complex nearby, and with so many available pools there was no shortage of space. I enjoyed the pool bar as well. Overall the staff was attentive and very friendly, and never had any problem."

"This hotel was upgraded during our stay, and I can confidently say it feels like a true 5-star property. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to experience all of its facilities, and breakfast was not included in our booking — but even without that, the impression was excellent. What stood out: - Fantastic location right next to the waterfront. - The hotel is very clean and well maintained. - Extremely helpful and attentive staff. - A beautiful lobby that really sets the tone. - Fast and stable internet, which is a big plus. - A great rooftop pool with stunning views. - A small but decent gym. - From the rooftop, you can see the skyline and skyscrapers of Dubai. - Breakfast area (if included) offers the option to dine with a river view. - Relatively close to the metro. - Plenty of good restaurants and many supermarkets nearby. The room design and bathroom layout are very well thought out — modern, comfortable, and functional. Final verdict: If you manage to book this hotel for $70–80 per night, it is absolutely worth it and feels like a steal for this level of quality. I would gladly stay here again."

"Highly recommended for honeymoons or anniversaries! The location is peaceful and away from the city crowd. Free transportation was well-organized with clear instructions to and from the island. We were welcomed with drinks, free ice cream, and even an anniversary cake in our room. The room is spacious with complete amenities and unlimited bottled water, plus a free island tour. Tip: Food is quite expensive since outside meals aren’t allowed, so plan your budget accordingly or booked advance buffet reservation. Overall, an excellent stay — worth every moment!"

"I booked a room with two meals and got upgraded to a suite – what a steal! I checked in quite late, but the restaurant was open even later! There's a water taxi right outside the hotel that goes to the Old Town, which is super convenient. If I ever need a reason to come back to Dubai, it would definitely be for the Sheraton. The main Dubai Metro line is just way too crowded during peak hours!"
